[minimum 2 paragraphs] This question is a very good one at that and I love the amount of answers one individual could give to it, but simply put I have at least 3 reasons why you should pick me over others. First off, I'll just get straight into it by saying that my ability to stay calm in any situation is a very useful tool to have and it comes with many perks along the way. I believe that one's ability to stay cool under intense situations and in most cases situations that cause anger, grief, or any negative emotions is very useful in general and can show one's maturity overall. So for my first reasoning it would just be the fact that I'm able to stay cool and just chill out when it comes to situations that are hefty. Ex: When a minge is yelling or saying hurtful/harmful things to one other person in a sit, its best to keep your cool and just stay calm. Second, I believe in experience as a whole. When it comes to any job position, or position that is handpicked, I would say that one of the most important things to take into account is experience that an individual has. So for my side of things, I have plenty of experience when it comes to administration on and off of Garry's mod. I could be cliché and say that it's "important". But the fact is actions out-weigh words, and I believe with my past experience and experience on the garnet server overall, that I should be picked for having a landslide of experience within administration, logging, and sit etiquette and knowledge. Also, not to mention the fact that I've staffed for plenty of servers in my time, and its just something I genuinely enjoy doing. Lastly, I think the biggest reason you should pick me is because I will stand by any word, and the biggest word I have to say to this community is that I will deliver quality work and exceptional results when it comes to moderation duties in-game and out of game. I genuinely think I'm not a bad person to hang around and that we could get some stuff done overall. I love to see new faces, and I'm constantly reaching out to people in-case they need help. My ability to understand and observe situations is also another one of my words. I will make sure that my job as one to moderate the server and take care of sits will not be forgotten, seeing as its the most important part of staffing. But also, I'm a man of having fun and overall just having a good time with friends and people online. But if we go way back I won't ever stray away from the fact that I was punished on a few servers for some minor reasons. Other than that, I do believe in authenticity and I've never been banned, but I have been jailed several times on account of NLR or Fail base, etc. On that note, if it comes to Garnet servers, I have NEVER been punished on any GG servers. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: As of right now, I have all the time in the world to contribute on the weekends. I think you should choose me over other applicants because I have a lot of experience. I also see that the GM team needs a lot of work not trying to be rude. I believe my experience can help out the GM team and any events I run or help with because when I used to GM people loved my events and got on the server just to do my events. I am also always available to help because I usually do nothing but gmod in my free time. I know about the Star Wars lore too so I have good ideas when doing lore related events. Since I have experience I know that a GM needs to do his job and do it right. Many times have I seen servers fall or lose a player base due to a GM being rude to the playerbase. With my experience and just wanting to help out the server as much as I can I feel I can be chosen as a GM. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? About a year ago on a DRP didn't advert a raid and ended up getting punished for mass but since I had video it was only a day ban. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I have a lot of free time and I am willing to give it all to the server. I may have irl things that happen every now and then but whenever I have free time I am always on the server. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: I believe that the responsibilities of a game master is to provide a fun time to the player base. The game master must keep RP situations and events going when people are on. The game master must do this because it's part of their job to keep the player base alive and happy as bad events can make people mad and leave. The game master must always look into the players feelings over theirs because the GM asked for the position so he must fulfill it over his other roles. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I can contribute to the RP part of a gamemaster by providing a good RP environment with events where all the players can be immersed in the RP and have fun while doing it. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: My main idea for the RP environment is a diplomat sent by Palpatine to review the clones and to give them events to do jobs. This diplomat will give the clones a reason to go do events; he will also do training events to help the clones get better at killing droids. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: Fallen Jedi Venator: An jedi sends a distress signal requesting for help as his ship was attacked and his holocron stolen. After a distress signal is received and the troops head out to the planet they arrive at an FOB just outside the crashed venator. The troops must defend the FOB until order to arrive at the location of the jedi and holocron. Once the location is received by tapping into CIS comms recon teams are sent to scout out the area. Once finished scouting all troops will begin an assault on the location of the jedi and holocron. Once all droids are dispatched traces are left of a dead jedi and an unknown sith luckily the troops got there in time to regain the holocron but unable to save the jedi and with an unknown sith roaming around. Civilian Droid Factory: Populace on a planet have been enticed to build droids for CIS. The republic forces receive a call for a mission. It has been concluded that on a nearby planet the local population are now working with the CIS and have a droid factory on the planet. The troops are dispatched to the planet with all battalions getting specified roles befitting the battalion. Once the droids and local populace are dealt with the leader will be interrogated by CG and 104th back on anaxes base for any intel to who hired them for the factory. Retake The Base: While away on a mission the CIS infiltrated the defenses and set up in anaxes leading to the army to retake the base. Coming back from a peaceful mission the anaxes base was infiltrated without setting off any alarms. The troops land all the way at aurek to begin their conquest of anaxes. The troops move through the planet finally reaching the main gate which they must blast or engineer their way through. Once inside the base they finally get a transmission from a tactical droid telling them to leave due to insufficient percentage of them winning the battle. The troops persist and push on, finally taking the head of the tactical droid. Once the droid's head is scanned for intel an enemy FOB from which the army took over anaxes came from and the troops will go there next to take it back if they choose so. Clone Betrayal: Fed up with the republic a clone decides to team up with the CIS to attempt to take down anaxes base. A recently recruited clone is having a tough life in the 501st/212th and after their superiors just won't promote them they have enough. The clone deep down thinks that maybe the republic are not the good guys in the war and maybe he should switch sides. He then makes himself a comms device straight to the CIS commanding them instruction on when to attack the base because he will make a distraction. With the clones distraction a group of commandos invade the NCC and take over leaving the clones to try to kill them by negotiations or all out attack on the commandos. While that fight is happening the clone calls in the main CIS army and a base attack happens. During the fighting Radiomen or Naval will tap into CIS comms and find out the betraying clone. When the fighting is over with debrief is called and there the act of the clones' betrayal is shown to the whole army on anaxes base. The higher ranking officials will then vote on a trial or an execution. CIS back on geonosis: Tactical droid lead army rebuilds on geonosis. Reports of an army buildup on geonosis spread across the republic. Anaxes base is the first to reply with open arms. The troopers are briefed on the mission and are informed on the teams they will take. The army will split into two equal forces one will hit a droid factory while another hits the colosseum. The droids are persistent in their attack even having tactics which is weird for a droid army. The fighting in the colosseum is difficult as General Grievous is there with a personal guard of magna guards leading a vicious defense. Deep inside the factory a main holding position is located and within contains a tactical droid that is leading the army. General Grievous before being defeated escapes in a ship leaving his magna guards to be captured. Once the big fight is over and the droid seized, the troops head back to anaxes to scrap the droid.

[minimum 2 paragraphs] As far as my ability over others, I had to perform for VERY large scale events back on HaloRP, and it was expected to have your hand in as many cookie jars as you can when leading an event. I have participated in quite a few TTRPG campaigns and have quite a bit of experience running games and what-not. When it comes to events I much rather prefer quality-over-quantity. I always do my best to make sure every batt is involved with their own mission, whether it be 91st scouting a small field, or the armored divisions pushing from strategically placed points on the map. While GMing, you have to be prepared to switch whatever you had planned on a dime, since players are so unpredictable, they may stray away from the original objective, which is what I handle best. Basically the idea of "derailing" isn't an unrecognized topic for me and I'm able to handle the situation with ease. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: When running events, I only plan to use /roll when completely necessary, most likely for END or LUCK, people were trained in their certs, they aren't idiots they know how to use their tools. so when an ENG has to roll a 75+ to open a door it makes 0 sense, sure it can take him a bit, but that's what continued RP is. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: First large event: Dropped on Geonosis for a detainment mission. GAR Forces will be all given separate orders pertaining to their specialties. Everyone will be spread out accordingly with scout teams letting ground forces know of enemy ordinances'. Once the intel has been relayed, tanks and other ground vehicles will be dispatched in a strategic manner, with ATTEs and IF-Xs up against AATs. Then our infantry pushing their infantry while moving towards the center of the objective, sandwiching the target. If the ground forces take too long to push after the initial attack, their target will escape the area leading to a different string of events. Second large event: GAR is deployed to Tatooine to investigate a disturbance in a small town called "Mos Sharratta". Intel suggest that a crime lord who calls himself "Usurper" is held up in a small building with his 2 goons. After a small talk he peacefully makes his way with CG to the pickup zone. However, the Republic is about to figure out why the town feels empty, about 1/4s way to the LZ, the citizens begin to fire upon the GAR. With some being unarmed, and others being full bounty hunters, the Republic need to watch their fire and move the HVT quick before he's rescued. AA will be a threat that Naval will be informed about before they can take off, sot hey will need to push through the town, eliminate AA and EVAC. Third large event: The Republic has been gathered to the blank Sim room and have been instructed to switch to the Sim Weapons, once everyone is in the Sim Room, Naval will explain that they've been working on a prototype "Matrix Sim Room" and will be interacting with a realistic environment that is all procedurally generated. They will be transported to a map and will have full access to all vehicles and will be given multiple different scenarios to work with, whether it's "Protect the VIP from point A to point B" or "Attack the OBJ" anything works and can be done. First on-world event: Naval notices that the comm system is becoming static so they send out 91st to investigate comms tower, once they arrive they'll notice a strange substance that seems to vanish when touched, there's a trail that leads all the way to the waterfall cave, once a team enters they make their way down and find a woman who is unarmed and ghostly. She mentions something about the Jedi who at this point can feel the presence of a powerful force user nearby. The woman will have claimed to be Shaela Nuur, a past Jedi Knight who is here for an unknown reason. After discovery, local wildlife will have stirred up quite the commotion and have moved to attack the people in the cave, clones must defend the Jedi while they speak to the force ghost. Mini-event: CIS teams have been deployed on base and have set up mortar teams around the map, the CIS invasion will only start to stop once all mortar teams are dealt with. MTTs and AATs will be used to push the Republic back into MHB, if said vehicles reach the inside of MHB, more droids will push them back and MHB will be lost, they will proceed to push until mortars are down.

For helping the server I will do my best in sits to resolve issues that a player is having and i have no problem of dropping whatever I have to help someone else. With the person that caused the issue I will give them the appropriate punishment and tell them future punishments they will receive if they keep it up. Lastly I will let the person know how to improve and tell them the reasonable response to the certain scenario that broke the rules. I would also want to check around to make sure everything is going how it should a example is base camping and I will deal with the issue how I am supposed to. The playerbase is the most important to me because I met so many lovely and wonderful people within the community of Garnet and they all deserve the best of their experience playing on the server. Helping with it I will answer any questions someone might have of the server a example is letting them understand rules they fully do not understand or explaining what can happen in war, raids, kidnaps and things like that which will improve people's knowledge of the server and they can play it to the full potential without breaking any rules or feeling that something they do is wrong. I already do help alot of players on the server with improving and enjoying the game but i believe that would help the playerbase in giving them help to getting better at the game or give tips and ideas that would help them further enjoy the server because when you are good at something you enjoy it. I also plan in helping around in tryouts or training that factions (when getting more perms) do that also help the playerbase improve and enjoy peace time. Sometimes there has been times were no staff was on to set jobs and help with tryouts so it made some of the tryouts on hold or difficult to perform. Later on if I do work with the staff team I would love to help around with tryouts and trainings or events by settings jobs and TP players to make it more efficient. I think me being active on team speak and on the server it can be easierfor players to reach out to me if they have questions or need help. Finally for the great and hardworking staff team I want to help around if situations get to hard for someone or if they just need to remind them of the time someone should be jailed for or how long they should be banned for. I think me being very active in the team speak will help communication with the staff team and further resolves issues within the server and will make sure the staff team will be act and behave how they are supposed to as I'm sure which many other staff do to make sure they keep a strong team to help the server. Wrapping this up I think I would be beneficial to the staff team because of my goal in being helpful to the servers players, staff and entirely the server. [minimum 2 paragraphs] As a new dynamic of players come along, there is a larger demand for rules to be enforced, as well as new policies that need to be upheld. By the trends of how the playerbase ranges in GGMRP, one of the greatest weaknesses is the lack of guidance for players. I believe this is because the dynamic of how staff currently operates greatly whips between an iron curtain of enforcement and lackadaisical aid. What I present to you as a candidate is an end to this caveat with a middle ground. Given my past experience as an admin/moderator for several servers, I believe I am a exceptional candidate as a staff member. I originally joined Garnet Gaming back in 2017 on rp_csdesert but left to give attention towards school, however, as I finish college I am dedicating more time, and with that, I am seeing a greater demand for help. Most importantly, knowing what kept players to come back on the server then is what I plan to offer as a staff member now. How I plan to do so is by approaching and solving player issues with lessons over punishments. I’ve been able to sedate players into properly RP-ing so that the overall experience for other players is much more enjoyable through this method. As stated before, knowing that with new leadership rising, there are new demands that will help the server for the better. Rules such as casual RDM being broken by players of all ranks is one of the biggest issues that I want to crush. The way I plan on doing this is bringing back the of using warns. Of course MassRDM, NITRP, and other major offences will be dealt with properly, but if a new player commits a casual RDM and doesn’t know about this rule, they shouldn’t be perma-banned right away. With this approach, I believe we can retain more players, and they will learn rather than regret. One of my other strengths that has given me the opportunity to become a staff member on other servers has been my tone and professionalism. Controlling a mass amount of teenagers of all ages is a tough feat, but it is my biggest strength after being an admin all these years. I’ve been told several times how my demeanor shines because of how I can approach a situation kindly but professionally. Being stern to the right players and forgiving to others are traits that has presented me as a candidate before, and as I present to you now. It is with these traits that I would love to bring to the team so that we can gain and retain a larger player base. Numbers have been way too low over the last month, and so has the moral of new players. Playing on the US side, I’ve always heard new players in need of staff or someone of power to hold someone accountable. Even though I was a lower rank then, I am a higher rank now, and there is more I can do. However, there are still variables that limit my aid in enforcing rules. Many times have I tried to cuff players breaking rules, i.e. PVTs leaving base, Players RDMing other players, but many of those situations ended in LTAP or other outcomes that are out of my control. As a player on the West Coast, I present a better coverage of staff actively online then before. Usually nights in PST is where rules are broken the most as EST staff members log off for the night, and I would be pleased to help out and cover for the times that Staff can not be present.
