[minimum 2 paragraphs] A big factor in why I should be chosen over other applicants is because of my past experiences being a moderator for Garnet. I have hands-on experience and am better equipped to understand and address issues that may arise within the game. Due to having prior experience I also hold problem-solving skills that are essential in the role of being a moderator through the various challenges and problems that are encountered. Strong communication skills are also held and are crucial skills for moderators. I am capable of effectively communicating with players, addressing their concerns, and resolving conflicts in a professional and diplomatic manner. Handling difficult situations calmly and diffusing tensions can help maintain a positive atmosphere on the server. I also have a significant amount of time playing on the server. With so much time spent on the server, I have become highly familiar with the server rules. Being knowledgeable about the server's specific rules and guidelines is crucial due to moderators having to understand the server's policies and enforce them consistently. Furthermore, I hold fair and impartiality qualities that can make me more desirable than other applicants. Moderators must possess a strong sense of fairness and impartiality. They should be able to assess situations objectively and make unbiased judgments. Treating all players equally and ensuring a level playing field is essential for maintaining a healthy and enjoyable gaming environment. All of which I am capable of. Finally, my dedication and availability to being a staff member for Garnet Gaming. Being an active and committed moderator is important. I am willing to dedicate a significant amount of time to the role, actively monitoring the server, and promptly responding to player reports or issues. (include any proof): I told a guy to hang himself on accident when I meant to say "I need him to go fuck himself" and I never said it to him directly. I said it in a different TS channel and some guy recorded it and posted it in discord and after that they have been harassing me since then and I was hoping to either get unbanned or get my ban reduced at least. Why should your ban be removed?: Because I never said it to him directly nor did I mean to even say it at all and I feel like a 6 month ban is a bit to long especially with all the harassment that has been going on.

  4. Denied Your ban will stay as it is due to your large amount of warns, previous bans, and your blatant form of toxicity/telling others to harm them selves. While you are banned you have the ability to hop onto the TeamSpeak and other GG affiliated servers and would strongly advise to do so. We would really like to see that during your ban that you can reform and end your toxic ways. If this is something that we can see, then we can talk about you becoming unbanned early but this is not something that can happen in a few weeks. So going forward, you may appeal on 08/21 but before that we will need to see some form of you reforming otherwise it will be denied. @Python@THEHUNTINGUYPlease lock and move : )

  6. Nothing in this suggestion is really too far of a stretch. However, you want the SCAR buffed, the AK103 should stay the same to combat the SCAR. Other than that, model changes are much needed and will help with realistic measures within the server! +1

  8. I agree with basically everything on here except this, money is often used in this game for RP. Though unlocking things via XP sounds like a better system, I still think money should be kept so there is a form of conventional currency on the server. +1 to everything else but -1 to removing money

  9. I Description After recently talking to Garnet about the future of MRP, there were a few interesting ideas that I gathered from our conversation. I made a point of noting how easily accessible and constantly changing FPS games are hard to compete with given how old Garry's Mod is. At this point in time I think anyone can agree that RP is scarce and forced attempts to generate it is the virtual equivalent of a nursing home. Any vet will tell you that the best RP comes naturally and in the past, its not something people "focused" on creating. It was just something people did. The reality is that we are playing an old game in a sea of modern FPS games with a lot more to offer. I think we need to take some serious steps towards changing how our server works fundamentally in order to adapt and engage a population of players that have a world of other FPS options to play. What's that look like? 1.1 Weapons Remove all class loadouts from the server. Categorize all available guns in the server into "eastern" and "western" categories. Each regional gun is unlockable by anyone on their respective nation as well as the attachments for them. Similar to battlefield. Eastern guns unlockable by AFG. Mixed guns unlockable by both. To answer some questions: Factions would remain the same and be cut down to classes based on their rank. Tryouts would still exist. Factions would still exist. Instead of having 1 million guns on your hotbar, an idea would be: All players restricted to 1 primary and 1 secondary. VIPs such as Titan could be able to carry an extra primary. In regards to your VIP classes, I assume they would still exist in some capacity and have a selection of their own exclusive weaponry. 1.2 Peacetime Get rid of empty peacetime and implement this: The deny reason for this post is a lie and also the same trash MRP players have been eating for years. The GM events will never get better. The players will never want to RP more. Allow guns to be shot during all times of playing on the server, while keeping war, and I promise the server will see more RP naturally develop than it has in years. While IFN died and is no longer around, it did some things right. Pockle outlines it all in his suggestion and I think this suggestion is one of the healthiest proposals for change to server dynamics that we have had in a very long time. 1.3 Snipers and Balancing Adjust various weapons alongside the loadout system overhaul. There are various weapons all around the server that could definitely use some adjustment to adapt to a more streamlined loadout system. I know a few players (including myself) who would be willing to sit down and spend whatever amount of time it takes to create a state of weapon balancing that only slightly adjusts in future updates. I guess all I'm looking for to actually do this is a go-ahead that it won't be wasted effort. For example, some ideas: Remove movement and delay penalties from all snipers. All snipers no longer one shot. Spread reduction around the board. 1.4 Pilot Jobs for Entry Add a pilot job to both US Army and Taliban. Add respective NPCs for each side for spawning an aircraft. Implement togglable parachutes for all players. Before I get started here: No, we should not give a pilot job to every faction. No, we should not make it another T1 faction like it was before. Yes, we should make the pilot job most easily accessible by senior entry players. US Army : Pilot Loadout: Only given access to sidearm selection. Taliban Army : Pilot Loadout: Only given access to the sidearm selection. 1.5 Trello Cleanup Currently, the trello is extremely backed up. This is not a result of our owner neglecting to do updates, but rather the result of a single dev managing a server trello for years on end. It happens. Personally, clutter kills me and if this suggestion is accepted, I think we should pretty much wipe the entire slate and restructure it to focus on this overhaul. Aside from game breaking bugs and recently accepted suggestions, we cut our losses that are the ideas generated and stacked from forever ago, and make simple clear-cut trello cards to focus on a server revamp. 1.6 Removing Money Wipe the entire economy from the server. I don't really see a place for money existing on the server and instead, I think everything should just be unlockable via experience. Attachments, cars, guns, weapon skins, utility, etc would all be earned by leveling. For example, if we transition to the previously suggested loadout system, players can unlock a 'car slot' when they hit x prestige. I think this alternative would be infinitely more straightforward than grinding 800k through word scrambles or creating more uses for money. Alongside this, ways to earn XP should be expanded upon with systems such as achievements (I would love to make those). Alternative: Remove XP and have everything be money focused. (Personally I like this more) X Conclusion This suggestion is composed of random ideas that I thought of when asking myself how the server could better match other FPS games on the market. I think that RP will still exist and happen when it wants to on a server that replicates a milsim like Squad or Battlefield. However, I do not think that we can continue to treat MRP like we can revive the environment that existed 7 years ago. I think its time to full on change heavy fundamentals about the server. For more context, there has been a few ideas floating around on what can be done about the current environment of MRP. Some of those include a rogue-like inventory system and RP operations that focus on the outcomes of war. While these ideas could synergize with what I am suggesting, I think that those ideas alone will not be enough to freshen up MRP. Our main focus should be on streamlining MRP into a server with constant action and worrying about those systems when the baseline experience on the server is enjoyable. What am I looking for from this suggestion? Mainly for it to garner support and then Garnet takes a look and we start taking steps in that direction with people who are passionate about it. Again, I can name a few people who would be very interested in being super involved in something like this and I would love to spearhead it. As someone who has been around for years, I care about the server and I honestly think the best thing for it is to modernize into something a lot more stimulating.

  10. I know this has been asked many times before, but I will be suggesting this again. TSFU Weapons need an overhaul. TSFU weapons compared to the other tier 2 faction, Rangers, are outclassed in every way and by almost every other faction on the server. This for one makes it very hard to recruit people to tsfu as the only thing that we have going for us is the suicide bomb (which only a few people use regularly). So, I am suggesting some changes to make TSFU more balanced with the US tier 2 and with all other soc in general. @Shwade and I Talked along with a few others, and we agreed upon these possible changes. MP40 Buff : 1. Base damage change to either 31 or 32 from 30 2. Reload speed changed down from 3 seconds to 2.1 seconds. Famas Buff : 1. Famas firerate changed to 725 2. Spread per shot reduced to 5% 3. Damage increased to 32 4. Max Spread reduced from 40% to 20% Exchanging the svt40 for a proper sniper. after talking with many people, we have agreed that TSFU should have the SV98 replace the svt40 but we would also propose the M95 as a backup. I have also provided screenshots comparing the sv98 stats to the rangers sr338 to show that they have similar stats and that they would each be similar. Any other questions anyone has feel free to ask. I personally dont see how anyone could disagree with the fact that TSFU weapons need an upgrade, just compare ranger classes to tsfu classes.   13. SCAR/103 Changes can be denied, but im really pushing for these models, especially since the server is working on being modernized, Green Beret will NEED playermodels to stand out. Please Consider this!

  14. All of Torq's bans were awhile ago so no reason to bring them up but you can't really call out other people's faults when you are noclipping around the map after multiple people have told you that you weren't allowed to do that so don't be that way when you break the rules aswell

Excellent point would like to see some specifics in regards to Rangers and TSFU but Bishop seems to address that in his reply and I think as he stated a definite thing that we would need to have if this suggestion is accepted is someone heading up the implementation of it and allowing the community to give input that is actually addressed when the time comes. While utility and equipment are cool implementations, I don't think it will push people far enough to choose Rangers over GB and vice versa (Removing the basic need or feeling of having to move up in the server which drives a lot of new players to remain playing). The main thing that makes them different currently and actually causes people who know what the classes are to join is the 'Ghost' class and GB's explosives (Or just the idea of CQC v Long range) these are two of the most apparent aspects of the factions that if removed could really damage how people would want to join either. I believe in terms of 'skill' it goes DF -> 75th -> GB and if we wanted to keep that same idea I think we should have something more than just utilities that distinguish them (Same goes for 055 and TSFU on tali). @Ziggy I believe previously you talked about the implementation of a skill system. If we could find a way to allow certain regiments very distinctive separate skills upon joining, that base army and tail would be aware of in war or peacetime it would greatly up the motivation to join and make both regiments more distinct. These skills would only be applicable when they are playing on the SOC's Class and would be disabled if joining a different class. Overall, +1 just some little tiny things I love bugging bishop about that will most likely be addressed if the suggestion is accepted. Things that would be nice to see specifics on when the time comes: Pilot Accessibility and rule enforcement. (Is it up to GA/Marshal; What heli's will they have access to. any attack helicopters?) When saying limit user weapon use to 1 Primary and 1 Secondary does this include donors? If so what system would we use to enforce this and how consistently can we change the weapons. Every peacetime, Every war? What was going through our head when the peacetime capture points suggestion was denied?!?!?!

  17. So, Let me explain a bit better. Not only You, Goofy Guy, False reported multiple times, saying that you didin't care about it, You were also trolling. The guy in question, TLG ovrated, Was afk and you made a report saying I need him to sell his doors. Your Request was indeed granted but he had the base before you and had printers in there. The base was technically owned by Ovrated but you made a report saying "I own the front doors so It's my base". Now, by the rules yes, you are indeed correct but, since he alredy had props in the base before you actually made a report and even claiming the doors and even joined, that could count as trolling... Leave this to the others...
