  1. +1 Cheese touch event would be the reason the server is fun again. Active member and extremely capable.
  2. Just to clarify, I’m only currently working part time at the moment. Internships are of the past. Maintaining a 4.0 is literally as easy as breathing.
  3. In-game Name: P-250 JENG TCL SSG 1000 Ching Age: 17 Playtime: | P-250 JENG TCL SSG 1000 Ching has played for 271:19:36. SteamID: STEAM_0:0:61059175 How many hours per week do you have to commit to this role? 20+ hours a week Previous Leadership Experience: [2 Paragraphs Minimum] Starting off with IRL experience, I am a General Manager at a restaurant. I basically do everything from making sushi in the back when needed to making schedules and running the store. I started as a hostess and gradually moved my way up. I also assist in managing other locations. I've developed great relationships with kitchen and front staff. I've also learned how the restaurant industry works and operates, and the ins and outs of managing people and supplies/material. In addition, I'm also the Vice President currently for my local DECA chapter. For anybody who does not know what DECA is, it's basically a nationally recognized organization that specializes in educating and teaching students about the world of business, management, and finance. I've developed my people skills as the VP with an organization of that scale and have allowed myself to develop connections with the most well-regarded businessmen/woman in the country. I was also previously an administrative intern for a co-working space that specializes in leasing/renting out office spaces of any scale in like a work community kind of environment (Similar concept to WeWork). From that experience, I was able to again, grow my network, and in addition learn how to communicate professionally with others and handle basic things such as customer service (I don't talk like I'm from O-block outside of Garry's Mod). Finally, I believe my last relevant piece of leadership that I have is that I was the lead marketing analyst for a start-up app company that was a similar concept to UberEats and DoorDash. Although I didn't really develop anything new people-skill wise, I was able to learn how to work and research professionally at a high level. I also was able to sit down and talk with executives on a daily basis and really learn how tech companies operate and function. It was a great learning experience for me profesionally. As far as staffing in video games go, I will start in 2016 when I joined Garnet. I finished at Moderator. Really nothing too special, just learned the fundamentals of staffing on Garry's Mod and the conflict solving skills that are needed to really perform. After that, I moved onto Synergy Roleplay where I took on the role of an Admin on the StarWarsRP server. Synergy Roleplay is a more serious serious type of roleplay server. From that, I had to enforce rules much harder and develop judgement skills. Soon after, I became a part of Synergy's Military RP staff team. I quickly climbed up to Senior Admin and was about to become a Manager before departing to focus on my life. Some things I learned were, managing new staff members and training them, setting up battalions, and generally overall just being an example and leader for the rest. Other than that, I've been an SA/Manager for many other small servers that did not make it that long. Again, I was just able to develop my leadership and management skills more. In regards to roleplay leadership experience, I have plenty. To start, I was the Captain for Delta Force back in 2016 under MoneyGeez. This was the first I ever held a leadership position and was able to learn a lot about my leadership abilities. After that, I became Warrant Officer for SAS in a matter of days. This was because at the time, I was the best sniper on the server and Burton tried to ban me so SAS offered me a spot in order to shift the tide between US vs SAS vs Tali. During my time in SAS, I had the primary role of managing the elite Ghost faction and also managing general player personnel. After that, Taliban offered me a spot in their faction to turn the tide in wars so I took on a Captain spot. During this time, Taliban did manage to somewhat bounce back in wars. I continued to develop my communication and leadership Shortly after, I became the 1st Lieutenant for MARSOC under Phantom. Although I was on for a limited amount of time during the week during my tenure, I was still able to get a lot done and still found a way to lead the marines along with my other officers. Simultaneously, I was also a Warrant Officer for the Army, again, developed my leadership and player management skills. After my run in Garnet, I decided to move to Synergy and pursue more positions over there. My first position at Synergy was being the Shadow Company Commander. I learned how to develop docs, manage docs, manage personnel, and learned how to lead in character. This was definitely one of my more demanding positions that I've taken on and I learned so much from it. I also took on the role of Jedi General Kit Fisto during this time and was able to learn alot. I was the best sparer on the server and was given the task of teaching others how to spar. After my tenure in Shadow Company ended, I joined the Null-Class ARCs and was basically in charge of giving orders to all the other clones and doing my own thing. If there's anything I learned from being Null is that sometimes, it is okay to be an asshole as a leader as long as you are respectable and people trust you. After my run on Synergy's StarWarsRP I moved to their newly developed MilitaryRP. I took on the role of MARSOC Lieutenant Colonel and again applied the skills I already had and continued developing as well. Why should you be chosen for this position over other applicants? [2 Paragraphs Minimum] First of all, I clearly have the experience over other applicants in regard to IRL and video game leadership as well. If anything, you cannot beat experience. I've been in environments that range from corporate/executive to high positions in roleplay and staff. I obviously understand what it takes to be a leader, the skills it requires, and the time/effort/consistency that is needed. I've also learned a lot about not burning myself out and making my tenures short like I have done in the past. I believe overall, this can provide me the consistency in activity and work that such a position like this requires which is something I have over all the other applicants applying. I believe I've become a good leader overall with all the experience I've accumulated and all the time I've spent pursuing them. I know the ins and outs of running a battalion the size of 501st and would take the task on easily. Secondly, I have a hard-working personality in comparison to other applicants. I currently work a part-time job while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being top of my class, a management position, and 2 internships. Obviously, being able to juggle all of those things is not easy, and does require a lot of hardwork and dedication. That's something I always provide when I take on any leadership role and you should expect nothing less of me. I'm expert certified in excel (applies to google sheets as well) and know how to manipulate and use a document to it's fullest potential as well. As a hard-working dedicated leader, mentoring and teaching is something I take pride in and not many applicants can say the same. Being an XO in the 501st legion requires having the ability to do so and that is something that not many people are willing to do/provide. What is your biggest strength and biggest weakness? [2 Paragraphs Minimum] My biggest strength overall is being able to adapt to any situation I'm put in. With working as many positions as I have, you learn to adapt and develop the ability to learn fast so that you're always 4 steps ahead and never 2 steps behind. I think that's something I'm really good at is making sure I'm always ahead of any situation or that I'll be prepared in the event of an emergency or unforseen circumstances hit me. I believe that's super important when taking a role such as XO, which is being able to change the way you lead or manage based on the environment or changes you're put through. I've been able to hone this strength of mine over the course of many years and it's honestly one of the things I value the most out of all my strengths. In regards to my weakness, I think my biggest one is being super susceptible to burnout when I do put my everything into something. I know a lot of people in this community flame me for it, and I understand why. For me, it's like I love putting my everything into an endeavor that I really enjoy but as soon as I've achieved what I've wanted to achieve, I instantly lose the motivation to continue or prolong what I've achieved. It's a really bad habit of mine, and something I'm trying to fix. I'm guilty of doing this on the last iteration of StarWarsRP for Garnet. I promise, I'm working on it. Recall a time you've failed as a leader, what went wrong, what could have gone better, how did it help you grow? [2 Paragraphs Minimum] The one time I've failed as a leader was one night, the restaurant was extremely busy and we were heavily understaffed. I was tasked with having to be able to manage the night with a full house and no staff. It was definitely rough and I failed badly. Part of the mistake was not scheduling enough people that day as well as not having anyone to work. There were patrons who had to wait many many minutes for service and with that came many negative reviews and a lot of backlash online. The kitchen was extremely overrun and I had absolutely no clue what to do or how to fix what happened that night. Although it was a disaster of a night, I still did learn a lot from it was and able to become a better manager as a whole from it. Some things I learned were to make people wait if I don't have the capability of serving a full house. I also thought we would be fine because I was there and that I would be able to pick up and do anything that wasn't being done by the others and I was badly wrong. I can't do everything myself and I need others around me to fulfill the millions of tasks that are needed in operating a fully functional busy restaurant. Something else I also learned was that people are valuable and you need people around you in order to be successful. I did take a lot of criticism that night, and it did hurt my ego significantly. I was definitely humbled and realized that customers are the people that I need to bow my head down to and really give them my all. I did learn how to take criticism with the approach of using it to be better as opposed to taking it as an insult. Do you understand that you may be removed from your position should you fail to uphold the standards and requirements of this role? Yes What is Kanye West's best song? Believe What I Say
  4. In-game name: ChingAge: 17SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:0:61059175Warns: 0Timezone: CentralPlaytime?: | SCT 1000 Ching has played for 209:34:51.Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: [YES/NO] YESDo you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:[YES/NO] YES Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?] Remake Past experiences as staff: [Optional] Garnet Gaming MRP Mod x2, Garnet Gaming SWRP Mod, Synergy Roleplay MRP Senior Admin, Synergy Roleplay SWRP Admin Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] Firstly, I've been around the Garnet community for about 6 years now. I know what it takes to be a staff member, and understand the amount of dedication needed for such a position. Over the years of staffing on Garnet, I've burnt out fast and that's because I've tried to do too much. I intend to make this a much longer commitment than my previous runs. My package comes with consistency and quality, and that is something that I value a lot. I come with problem solving skills and smart decision making. With being in the community so long, I understand what's expected of me and the activity level I'm supposed to maintain. Obviously, maturity is a huge part of this position, which is something I do come with as well. I work well with people considering the jobs and internships I've been through and understand how to resolve and end conflicts. Finally, I have the experience. I've staffed on highly reputable servers, and even helped start up the previous StarWarsRP and many other servers. I understand what it takes to be a staff member and the responsibilities that come with it. In addition to in-game experience, I've had plenty high level jobs/internships that have given me the skills to able to take on the role of a staff member. I also plan on doing more than just enforcing the rules on the server; making it a fun and enjoyable environment. I'm also always gonna be here when you need me. I am extremely knowledgable in lore as well, and know every single single bit of canon. This means I can help out with events if needed and just overall allow for more RP on the server rather than just enforcing handbook rules. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details: No. Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: 2020, Last StarWars RP launch. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: Minimum 10 hours a week. If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod? Bodybuilder, business major, and not being broke.Did you read the staff rules?: Ching
  5. Community Manager None of you newcomers know me but I've been with this community for almost 6 years. I went by Matthew Ching on MRP. Obviously not active throughout the entire 6 but I've come back, done some things and left. I'm looking for some sort of at-home job that I could do from home to maintain some income. I'm going to leave my sushi job pretty soon due to school. If this job entails just chilling and telling you what the fuck is wrong with the server, I'm totally down. I've worked quite a few office jobs as an intern so I definitely come with some professionalism and experience. I know I left StarWarsRP while we were just getting started, but I was just really burnt out and wanted to get back to my life. As far as MilitaryRP, I think 5 years of playing was enough for me. However, this definitely seems less grind and more like just passive management. If you need some more credentials or just like experience listed from A-Z, I'll PM you it. I have no bans. I'm not sure how many warns I have because it's been a long ass time, but I'm pretty sure its 0 too. I'll be available whenever. (As long as I have time for gym)
  6. Your question wasn't specific, it was a general question. "What do you guys miss most about the MRP server/community". "Also what would you guys change if you could?" Again, not a specific question. Rephrase your question next time before telling someone their input wasn't what you asked.
  7. +1 I really hope you can do something RC. I left it in the wrong hands.
  8. +1 While I was on the server, special showed real dedication and promise. He will get the job done.
  9. You guys have a shit ton of valid points, but a lot of it is just straight up flaming people lol. But aye on some real shit SWRP will be fun 4 yall trust.

      Bortnik

      Yeah aight.

  11. It's a TI-84 PLUS, Aidan is too boujee for a regular TI-84
  12. Damn very nice of you to post this shit when its 11PM and I'm starving my ass off. I'm literally drooling.
  13. +1 Generally positive guy, has past experience, and overall knows what he’s doing.
  14. -1 I've seen first hand how battalions like this work on other servers and to say the least, they always end up getting removed due to the lack of interest. Would be unnecessary as well.
  15. +1 It would be a lot more efficient for duels/trials.
  16. RC Weapon Rework Suggestion Credits: @Swigss @Pencil @slapdog247 Description: Essentially this is suggesting the addition of explosives to the Republic Commandos 'Demolitions' classes. (Delta Squad : Scorch , Foxtrot Group : Technician , Omega Squad : Darman) As well as changes to the classes such as Fi, Darman, EOD, Sev and the Leader Classes. **Delta Squad : Scorch** -Remove DC-17M Shotgun -Add Detpacks (weapon_swrc_det) **Delta Squad : Sev** -Change pistol to DC-17 Extended (rw_sw_dc17ext) **Delta Squad : Boss* *-Add DC-17M Shotgun (tfa_dc17m_shotgun) **Foxtrot Group : Technician** -Remove DC-17M Shotgun -Add Detpacks (weapon_swrc_det ) **Foxtrot Group : EOD** -Change pistol to DC-17Extended (rw_sw_dc17ext) **Foxtrot Group : Gregor** -Add DC-17M Shotgun (tfa_dc17m_shotgun) **Omega Squad : Darman** -Remove DC-17M Sniper -Add DC-17M Anti-Armor (tfa_swch_dc17m_at) -Add DC-17MBR (tfa_swch_dc17m_br) **Omega Squad : Fi** -Change pistol to DC-17Extended (rw_sw_dc17ext) -Remove DC-17MBR and DC-17M Shotgun (tfa_swch_dc17m_br and tfa_dc17m_shotgun) -Add DC-17M Sniper (tfa_swch_dc17m_sn) **Omega Squad : Niner** -Add DC-17M Shotgun ( tfa_dc17m_shotgun ) Reasoning: Seeing as how the Groups are each progressive in their availability (Free,T1,T2) I'm suggesting a progressive system between the groups for this suggestion. Delta and foxtrot receiving detpacks and Omega receiving the DC-17M Anti-Armor. The reason why foxtrot doesn't go up in an explosive level is because it is a group that allows you to form your own character rather than a named character like Delta and Omega. Regarding the changes to the Sniper and Commander classes this is to simply keep these two classes enjoyable and viable in multi scenarios when compared to their counterparts. Medic has a BR and medkit, while Commander classes were bare, basically a downgrade weaponry wise, this will allow the commander to have a reliable backup gun that will be transferred from their explosive members. Regarding the sniper changes, it is simply to give the snipers a reliable backup that allows them to fill in a secondary role, but mainly focus on their sniping role. What I mean by that is the sniper in its current state has a 5 shot sniper and 8 shot pistol. The current sidearm is low capacity, slow reload as it has to recharge, and medium damage. It keeps the sniper rather locked into its choices for engagement as it can only pump out reliable dps from a safe distance. With the suggested pistol it would allow our sniper class to be slightly more viable to move with the rest of the squad as it has a backup gun with more rounds though notably not nearly as strong as the rest of the group. This is simply to allow the sniper to have a backup weapon it can rely on to quickly switch between(it should be noted that from testing, the current pistol doesn't recharge when put away, meaning you have to have it out if you want a backup gun after you used it leading to a lot of downtime for a sniper).
  17. -1 The report thrown on you on MRP along with the effortless application shows your incompetence and the lack of maturity/responsibility you have.
  18. mm, you can’t make a judgement about someone if you haven’t seen/talked to them in 2 months. That’s completely out of pocket. Secondly, the way you’re responding to this application shows how ignorant and immature you are. Not only can you not type proper English but the points you’re making a severely invalid. Please take yourself back to the MilitaryRP forum section where you belong and stay out of StarWarsRP. I’m also going to take the time to +1 Swigs. He’s done an excellent job as Fixer and I believe his work in RC will translate extremely well into the rank of GameMaster.
  19. In-game name: Ching (RC Delta 38 Boss) Age: 16 SteamID (https://steamid.io/ STEAM_0:0:61059175 Warns: 0 Timezone: CST Playtime?: | RC Delta 38 Boss has played for 145:07:39. Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: [YES/NO] YES Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:[YES/NO] YES Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?] N/A Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional] [SR] CWRP Gamemaster Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] Firstly, I should be chosen over other candidates because of my uniqueness. Typically, most gamemasters from what I’ve seen seem to host the same kind of events over and over again. For me however, it’s a completely different story. I can bring many levels of uniqueness and variety in regards to events which in my opinion makes me far better than most applicants. It'll keep most players well more intrigued and interested having them want more. Secondly, I’m pretty experienced when it comes to hosting events. I was a previous gamemaster on a very reputable server and I generally know the overall system and requirements for hosting events on a PVE server. I’ve learned a lot from many people and believe that much of my experience can be very useful here. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details NO. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: Plenty of time. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: My responsibility as a gamemaster is to keep players intrigued and refreshed on the server. This includes keeping a balance between roleplay and combat, having a variety of short/long events, and implementing story lines that are interesting. In addition, my responsibility also includes encouraging roleplay by providing opportunities through events. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: Aside from hosting large scale events, which in itself has it’s RP aspects, I would implement something that is currently lacking on the server, PassiveRP. PassiveRP is not combat focused and allows players to develop their RP skills whether it be specialization based or communication based. I would implement massive amounts of PassiveRP in between large events and during downtime to keep players involved. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: Although I haven’t done anything significant yet, I have consistently implemented proper combat roleplay during events. I have enforced proper breaching during CQC events, enforced proper positioning during patrols and perimeters, and have encouraged many to follow along as well. When it comes to other servers such as Synergy, I’ve done countless events that were solely based on the roleplay of each battalion. For example, I’ve done negotiation events for the 104th, special ops for SOBDE, frontline assault for Attack Battalions, and so much more. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Conquest Event Series - The Conquest Event series includes a multi-planet assault in which the Republic will be fighting for planetary power. This is essentially a multi-day event in which every day, the Republic must capture a new planet. A series of planets will be laid out and the main objective is to capture all the planets. Combat scenarios will vary including a full on front-line assault, trench warfare, and special operations. [1 Life] Hostage Rescue - An important Republic asset has been kidnapped by CIS hired bounty hunters. The primary objective is to rescue the hostage ALIVE. SOBDE (RC) and RANCOR are being sent to retrieve the hostage. Once the hostage has been rescued, a huge assault team will be sent in to infiltrate and capture the bounty hunter’s compound. Assasination ManHunt - The clones have been notified of a possible CIS infiltrator on the venator who killed a Naval Officer. A manhunt is put into place by Shock and all clones/naval must comply with interrogations and searches. Once the infiltrator is found, RC will interrogate it and with the information they manage to gain, another event will be hosted after. This can vary from a small raid to a full on assault. [PassiveRP] Data Mining - The CIS have sent a droid disguised as a high ranking clone official from the armor they salavaged at the Battle of Kashyyk. The Droid goes in with a voice modulator pretending to be a clone in an attempt to datamine and steal intel from the Republic. Base Ops scanners pick up a massive datamine and a massive base-wide search goes into effect. All clones are told to remove their helmets, and speak. Once the disguised droid is found, it will be interrogated and re-programmed for future use by the technicians on base. [PassiveRP] Patrol Ambush - A battalion is sent out by Base Ops to patrol a nearby town on Anaxes. On the way there, a small untrackable droid force ambushes the battalion and they are held hostage with no ability to contact command. A search party is sent out but the battalion is nowhere to be found. It turns out the hostages have been taken to the busy towns of Tatoinee where battalions must search every single building in attempt to rescue them. They are given 10 minutes to rescue the clones before they are executed. If they fail to reach them before the time limit, the clones die.
  20. The player reported will be banned immediately. Thank you for reporting.
  21. -1 Your horrible application already says a lot about you and you literally act like a 5 year old child in-game.
  22. These bans will be issued immediately. Thank you for reporting it.
  23. The Initiate class is essentially youngling. There's no training you need to be an initiate.
  24. I misunderstood your question. What I would like to happen is that people pay for the base VIP rank, and then leaders are assigned to each squad. When that's established, people would have to tryout to get into those squads. It's more like you're paying for the chance to get into the battalion.
