Please read my full statement before telling me what I'm saying, and how that view I don't hold is wrong

Part of these appeals is contribution to the server if they were unbanned. Some staff members know Yurri better than they know Oatlife, and are therefore better suited to determine if the person would contribute if unbanned, hence their response. (This is a presumption and I cannot speak for every staff member) Clearly not, as that is what got him community banned. Oatlife was not originally banned for ban evasion, then admitted in an appeal for Mass RDM that he has since ban evaded (admitting to deserving another perma ban in a perma ban appeal), whereas Yurri's appeal does not admit to further ban evasion. I've avoided responding to this appeal prior to your comment, because I'm neutral on the matter so felt I provided nothing to the appeal. I know Yurri has the potential to contribute, but I'm in no position to make that judgement, and that is the same position I had on Oatlife. My responses to you are a matter of explaining the situation better, not a declaration of support for this appeal.

Don't need a dedicated RP faction during peacetime. GMs can set up classes and factions for any events they need. Having a static faction for this isn't worthwhile, really. The tools are there right now, it's just up to GMs and T. Admin+ to utilise the tools. And my reference to pay-off, even if I'm wrong and this was maintainable without affecting other factions, the plus side is just a little extra in events compared to factions being set up for single events.

Personally I don't agree with this. Yeh it's a nice idea, but we're proposing another faction when realistically this won't work, especially not for the effort that would have to be put in. This seems like a significant amount of work on Garnet's part, and it's not going to have a big pay-off if it does work. In my opinion, the server doesn't need another faction and probably can't support another faction that's independent from the rest, particularly with the current popularity of the server. Referring to your responses to Salmon, if that's the case then this faction wouldn't be used 90% of the time, and even when used it may consist of maybe 5 or so people maximum, which could have some effect but unless they're actually Tier 1 players (which would then harm both sides in the long-term) they won't be effectual in war.

If the entire suggestion package Bishop made is to be implemented, then even base Tali faction has a form of equipment in Nitroglycerin, and giving almost all (not their Air Force) the Tali factions a class with equipment. The current state of US SOC equipment is Rangers have donator class with grenades (max 3), and GB has a class with Grenades (max 3), so if Bishop's suggestion is being implemented in full there would be a major difference in US v. Tali equipment. With that being said, my +1/-1 would depend on whether Tali classes will be identical to Bishop's suggestion, or if there'll be compromises.

Accepted Your ban will be removed, but you will receive a server warn for Homophobia. Also due the ban appeal, and now the perfect clarity regarding this type of comment, any further breach of this rule will result in the 3-day ban punishment, and carry on with the order of punishments thereafter. It is also worth noting that lack of reading the rule does not excuse the behaviour, and your upbringing in a Southern state has no bearing on future punishments @Jake Please lock and move

Homophobic, racist, and other derogatory comments have always been against the rules. Currently the forum posts for MilitaryRP say for OOC only, however Garnet made an announcement since those were posted, clarifying the Community's stance on this type of incident, and they are not permitted in any form.

Your appeal ignores the actual reason you were banned, so it seems like you're just making stuff up. Also yeh, considering you were given a second chance this is bad that you receive 5 warns almost immediately then claim in your appeal it was for talking over a body during war

Hopefully @Early6111 could verify the situation, but idk the chances of his response. If the situation is as you say, and the ban was for the saying of a racial slur in voice chat, then yeh I'd support this appeal. Personally just saying it once or twice would be a verbal so you were aware of the stance the server has on that sort of thing. I do kind of want to add, as a matter of principle, whether it was you or your friends IRL who said it, it is your account and you are still responsible for it and the actions made on the server.

Denied The clip provided clearly shows a crouch jump in War. The rules state crouch-jumping in war is FailRP, and Staff may warn you for it providing they have a clip as evidence, and the clip was provided above. @Ozzy @Jake | Please Lock And Move

I'm remaining neutral on this staff app but I'll still give my thoughts. I don't really have any concerns over your ability as a Staff member, you've done it before with no real issues in your position as Staff, but I feel this might not be the right time to return to the Staff team. As you concede, you're still a somewhat controversial figure in MRP and that's why I'm not comfortable giving this App a +1. In my opinion, someone's image on the server is one of the most important aspects when applying for Staff, so I'd suggest working on that before becoming a member of the team. Edit: I've since remembered, at the time of the DF post, you told me you didn't care about Russia's struggles because you were a US main, and that's why you made the DF post. I'd also wanna see something that suggests such a viewpoint on the server has changed. I don't know if your viewpoint has or hasn't changed on that, so I really can't give a +1 to this app. I also agree with Salmon though, if you were to apply for GM then that's different and I probably would give it a +1.

Denied Despite claiming the mass was an accidental mousebump, the kill logs clearly show 2 separate Matador feeds, which is clearly intentional Mass and as a Veteran player the punishment is fitting. @Jake @Ozzy @Zachman

There's always a reason stuff isn't made public. I know first-hand the irritation of not knowing exactly what's going on with a faction with issues, with Camo's Army, however in my scenario I was a member of Army and still didn't know the full details, but I didn't make a forum post complaining about the faction. I waited to see what staff would do, and didn't expect major results in less than a week, and the end result of Jake's steps was Army dominating the server. Not saying DF is gonna dominate the server, but you have to have patience and realise you don't know all the details, and probably never will beyond rumours from someone who heard something. This post is Stork complaining because he feels he is owed a greater explanation on what's happening to a faction he's not even in.

What I'm saying is that the issue has been noticed, steps are being taken, there are multiple options Jake could take and he will take necessary ones. I tried to explain some of your issues yesterday in Teamspeak, and you effectively just told me to shut up. In regards to Jake, he won't tell you every option he's considering, and he may want to give the current crop of DF a chance first, so of course you're not going to be satisfied with his response, but that doesn't mean Jake's ignoring the issue.

-1 Other than the issues with your application already mentioned, I've not really seen you on the server, and you claim you'll be active for 10 hours a day. Either that's a complete lie to make your application look good (which it isn't succeeding at), or you're basically saying you'll only be active if you're a staff member, which is something I don't like. Also your 'two paragraphs' are really messy and not great for a staff application

Then pass Demolition tryouts and use the M60 which has a faster firerate and less recoil

-1 I've only had 1 interaction with you, and since then haven't really seen you on the server or Teamspeak at all. It may just be a timezone issue, but judging from others comments it seems like you're yet to take an active part in this server again. Personally, that's why I'm -1ing your application, I feel everyone who applies should be taking an active part in the MilRP community because its a sign of being engaging and easy-to-access. One of your paragraphs goes on about interacting with players, yet that's something I've yet to see you do so I find that first paragraph in your application hard to accept.

I feel I should inform you that if this appeal is to be accepted, it would more likely be a reduction of the ban, rather than a removal of it entirely. The reason for this would be the 2 week ban is for regular MassRDM, and going by your description of events, and depending on the evidence that will be provided by @Careless, this may be reduced to a non-Malicious ban which would only be for 2 days.
