I didnt read the whole post, but if we have a system as you said “getting on every hour, get 1more printer” this will surely encourage people making more alts, there is no way you can 100% prevent alts, this is internet, people could change his ip/handdrive id…etc in my opinion, having some alt is not a bad idea, in fact it’s a good news for the server (ofc not like 70+alts), lets say if you are a new player of gmod, you dont know which server you wanna play, will you choose a server with less people count or a server with 100+ player? Alts do absorb more new players to join the server also, i dont really think it will effect the player spots
