The group set off from US base and set up just South of Cargo, using Marine Raider snipers to take out the rocketeers ontop of the Embassy, once the explosive armed troops were removed AFSOC & the Raiders went around to the North side while Green Beret stayed South, when the strike order was given they attacked from both sides cutting down the RU and taking the document from the aircraft. Marine Raiders are sent out to the location to do some recon and the Rangers were not available, they delivered the report to SOCOM who set up a plan: One AFSOC member will take the Army Special Forces to South of Village, the other member will take the Raiders North of Village, they will then take out the RPG armed exterior guards and then move in from all sides and wipe out the riflemen guarding the document. They they escorted the operative with the document back to the SOCOM building where the document was stored in with the other 1/4 code. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: InfiltrationNarrative: US have a mole within the RU base who let them know there are 4 documents each containing 1/4 of a code to activate the nuclear weapon within RU tunnels. US have the Army and their Special Forces move in ontop to keep all the RU busy while Raiders and AFSOC move in underneath to take the document. The tunnel team take the document to WH where the rest of US meet up with them to escort them to safety, the RU track them thus far killing all but one AFSOC member who reaches the safety of further reinforcements who then take him to the SOC building in US base. The RU special forces track them to this location launching an offensive but they are quickly overwhelmed with the superior firepower the US posessed at that moment.Location: RU Base, WH, US BaseFactions Involved: RU & US Objective: Steal the document within RU tunnels, RU objective is to recover it.Assisting User(s): N/AAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): N/AScreenshots:
  5. Ground attack training, attacking the helicopter with weapons as it is a much larger threat than the transport, then going for another 2 passes ensuring the transport is disabled.

US forces had to fall-back to Embassy and try to have more equipment shipped out from there, RU followed and momentarily took control of the point however the US forces used their air superiority to bomb the building into the ground, allowing the infantry the chance to attack and wipe out the remaining RU soldiers.Location: From frogswamp to EmbassyFactions Involved: RU & US Objective: Take control of each pointAssisting User(s): N/AAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): N/AScreenshots:
  7. Could you at least provide your actual steamID so the operators can check through the ban logs and see who it is? If they can do that then they may be able to close this much faster.
  8. Not going to answer for him but I believe it was designed to be compact as hell offering mostly cqc but being able to reach out further at places like construction. Or at least thats what I gathered from the streams and ts etc.
  9. Really looking forward to using this juicy airfield, obviously as everyone will be saying it is looking great so far.

The station at ATTC 1 has 7 missiles ready for use and are coordinated by the heavily guarded control posts, RU must take control of these posts one by one gathering a 6 digit code to access the weaponry. The US forces would then have to aid the missile guards and try to prevent RU from dealing with them.Location: From WH to Swamp North of RU baseFactions Involved: RU & US Objective: Take control of each outpost ulitmately disabling the weapons cache.Assisting User(s): N/AAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): N/AScreenshots:
  11. Looks like you were right @Garnet Shame to see you resign so soon after joining, MCE grind time though squarehead
  12. Well thats a fucking lie. You're one of the few swrp gm's who came from mrp meaning you should have the ability to transfer your gm skills from there to here. The only problem I see with this is your VERY recent return to mrp and as we just saw with Valor, applying right away probably won't work. If soneone is planning on denying this due to the mentioned reason, maybe consider leaving it on hold until he is properly engrained within mrp again? Anyway +1 and add me to referrals you muppet I literally told you to apply.
  13. Every single time, without fail people hate playing on night maps for combat, people really do not like it hence the failure of Siberia's relaunch earlier this year. The previous maps were night time only so that may have something to do with the hatred it but I personally believe night in general whether timed or not wouldn't go down well. I'm no dev or mapper but as far as I know, active day/night cycles tank fps and on a map thats already pushing the limits of gmod I think this could render it unplayable at times.
  14. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: Recovering equipmentNarrative: The previous days Operation wildfire saw SOCOM forces steal a component of the nuclear controls, wiring it up in the SOCOM building. Alpha KMR Boltov wanted to get the electronics back, he planned a raid using Vega, GRU & 2GA to deal with the open fighting while the naval commando's were posted in the SOCOM building defending it against US forces. Over the time of the assault, the main force of RU were defeated and the US forces concentrated fire on the SOCOM building wiping out the smaller force ending the attack. 15. I'm meant to be in that pic with jerran That was an interesting time though, GB and GRU were pretty much merged at the time.
  16. Havn't put anything on here in a lil bit so heres a random training video from today.
  17. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: Operation WildfireNarrative: AFSOC Col Beluga planned an operation known as Wildfire entailing 3 both clandestine and open assaults on the RU FOB. The first had the strike group of US SOC assault and raid the RU FOB to create a largescale distraction allowing AFSOC + an 18A to break into the tunnels, disable the nuclear launch panel and steal a component of it. The second raid had the strike team on overwatch telling the clandestine team every RU move while AFSOC + an 18A broke into the mechanized storage room and disabled 3 main battle tanks by removing track pins and track pads destroying them in the process meaning the tanks could not move without new parts which wont arrive to due US air superiority. The third saw the strike team launch a full close quarter assault on the RU FOB while only AFSOC broke into the medical supplies room destroying the entire stash of gauzes, antibiotics and disinfectant as well as all the quick-clot powder not allowing RU forces to deliver medical aid to their soldiers in battle. Location: RU BaseFactions Involved: RU & US Objective: Complete 3 sets of tasks disabling the RU in warAssisting User(s): N/AAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): N/AScreenshots: The strike team moving to cause the first distraction. 18. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: Warehouse conflictNarrative: Sepratist forces had set up an outpost with cargo containers of weapons and multiple men to defend them, RU and US noticed it on their recon trips out and decided to strike and take control of the area. Initially their aim is to wipe out the small clandestine group but that quickly changes into killing the other major faction, the battles were in waves IE: US forces would take control of the area and an RU reinforcement squad would swiftly take control back, this went on for some time until both groups had exhausted all their resources, the final battle lasted a long time ultimately resulting in a RU victory as a single Vega member was left standing in the ruins of the Outpost claiming it for his country.Location: Between Village and WarehouseFactions Involved: RU & US Objective: Gain control of the sepratist soldiers and their equipmentAssisting User(s): CryptAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): Crypt: STEAM_0:0:67499195Screenshots: The sepratist forces preparing for battle. 19. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: Warehouse conflictNarrative: A continuation of the previous event. RU had moved crates of experimental weapons (HL2 helicopter bombs) to Warehouse to use it as a staging point to launch them at the US F.O.B, US were contacted by a local citizen warning them of the danger causing US Special forces to put a plan of action in place entailing them taking out sentries posted outside Warehouse, breaching the OBJ and killing or capturing the troops inside. From there they would attempt to move as many of the experimental weapons to US base while defending against waves of RU attempting to retake the location. Very little of this event happened due to a considerable amount of RU forces failing to listen to any instructions at all from myself or Crypt, causing the event to be cancelled entirely. Location: Entire mapFactions Involved: RU & US SOCObjective: Take as many experimental bombs as possible.Assisting User(s): Crypt, OzzyAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): Crypt: STEAM_0:0:67499195, Ozzy: STEAM_0:1:98542905Screenshots: I wasn't able to get any good ones with all the ineptitude surrounding me at the time.
  20. Host's Name: JakeHost's SteamID: STEAM_0:1:119630213Event Title: Nuke transportNarrative: A continuation of the previous event, the entirety of RU raided the US for roughly 5 minutes covering a clandestine team with FKPT Argov & KPR Crypt breaking into the storage room in US base and removing 4 nuclear weapons. They then had to roll the ordnance to the transport vehicle waiting outside the tunnels, due to its exposed nature the vehicle has to be escorted across the map defending against US attacks. Once at the RU base the nukes were carefully transported down the ladder by a winch, then rolled through the tunnels until they were in the nuke room.Location: Entire mapFactions Involved: All of RU, All of USObjective: Steal 4 nukes from the Ranger CaveAssisting User(s): WhiskeyAssisting User(s) SteamID(s): Whiskey: STEAM_0:1:235647684Screenshots:
  21. Pretty simple example of some room clearing we did in ATTC 1.
  22. In this tryout @Python & @Broku both passed on the map gm_fork so well done to them, both attended many many tryouts so its been a long time coming, heres a short clip of the final flight test, Broku is the pilot in the MV-22 Osprey.
  23. Pretty much just going to be posting AFSOC training videos here, helicopters, jets etc maybe some tryout clips as well. In this clip we were simulating an A-10 Warthog being escorted by two F-18 Hornets as the multirole fighter while the Warthog was a designated ground attacker, taking off in sequence, maintaining distance and staying local area to the Warthog.
  24. I'll be honest, these do not require a GM the fact you did them as a regular officer proves this. Operations can be entirely set up by the player all you need is a small group of people and a goal. IMO events and op's are to seperate things, operations are small scale missions, trips etc to complete a task while events (try to be and should be) a lot more intensive with the use of event locations, Game Masters running it with the players, MOS's, Jobs, props, often a very loose script, /event etc. I believe that operations should be handled by officers in game (whether they are a GM or not) while the planned complex events are run by the GM team. Basically from what I gathered this should be pushed towards officers rather than the GM team as we are simply not needed for this to work, you have prior experience as do many others, anyone with experience is highly encouraged to do operations independant of the GM's or staff also allowing us more time to focus on planning coherant smooth events instead of the rushed shitty ones I was doing a week or two ago. As it currently stands, I do these operations (not super frequently mind you) involving who ever is on at the time, I am able to do these without being AFSOC and without being a Game Master. If needed I would be happy to do 5 or so demonstration operations with the current RU & US officers so they can experience them and hopefully try to replicate the formula.
