  1. First off the Speed boost and Armor was poorly thought out in this suggestion. Our map currently is the smallest its ever been so flanking is almost something required to get on point but on larger maps where flanking could take several minutes. Thats where the idea of the speed boost came from. But i removed all speed and armor from this suggestion maybe its a topic brought up in the future Secondly i took the nades off some classes like ISI\DF infil classes and non donor base factions. DF/Isi Infil raids should be more then just getting feeds and a way to gather intel. Base Faction tend to be untrustworthy with explosives so limiting them to the donor class should lead to less issues. There are those wars where it feel impossible to clear a point. I think having these nades will help break heavily forfeited positions and power positions. It is not impossible to dodge a frag and will likely force you to reposition. Frags are not instant wins and its naïve to believe them as such
  2. First off the class is called support and it should be a supporting role. You have access to no primary weapon. Players who don't have access to donor weapons tend to not play this class as they do want to shoot things but if they had the ability to more directly influence battle by throwing smokes and flashes will allow them to feel more useful then just standing in a corner with a med kit out. Also Donor weapons shouldn't be a consecration while talking about overall balance changes. Lots of players have no access to donor weapons and they should also have the ability to have a fun experience on the server. Not everyone is going to spend money and these people should also be taken in consecration. Donor weapons are another post entirely. Donor weapons are pay to win and they always will be. Rangers are a sniping faction, there t3 that you pay money for should have access to there own sniper. DF gets Tier Gas on there t3. GB gets a Flash on there t3. I Suggested that 055th gets there GL on there t3 yet you don't complain about that. I have seen and heard absolutely zero attempts from tsfu to push any faction changes. Instead of crying in the forum post that your not getting listened to you should instead take the opportunity to add onto the post about what faction changes you want. What Sniper would you like to see, On what class. I am more than happy to try to help provide you a better experience for TSFU if you guys spoke up. For your concerns about DF, ISI Gets access to our honey badger which is a very good gun better than the 103. Saying its a reach is extremely disrespectful as i provided ISI an equivalent upgrade and you ignore that fact. And its arguable that the Explosive ISI gets is extremely better then a frag grenade but there is no complaints from you. I must ask why are you so biased about US changes while Tali gets the same treatment. You raise no concern over it. Im not surprised you have a similar response to benz. I will again ask what weapon would you like to see and to what class and ill add it to the suggestion. But the utility changes will make war feel different. War overhaul has felt the same over the years. Adding all this utility will allow players to get creative with strategies that we would have never seen before. If you don't want to use the Utility that's your chose but doesn't it make sense for soldiers to have grenades. The only down side to adding all the grenades is some minging. Your willing to give up all this potential gameplay over the fact that someone might bother you for 5 minutes. We have officers for a reason. Punish these players, take away whitelists, Lock them in Jail. There are thousand ways to deal with a minge A) yeah they get into obj and get a medic to heal you or you chad out and kill a few guys. On larger maps when it takes longer to get to objs this will give you the chance to make an impact that could lead you to winning the war. B) Those seconds are crucial in pvp. You wont just die anyway if you have a small ounce of skill within certain ranges. Even on long ranges you can break line of sight and get away. Veterans who pay to win will always well win. Look at the pp bison rn. Its such a crutch anyone can go crazy with that gun. But the extra health Buffing the donor mosion/orsis is not a buff? I dont understand your point because it takes two shots to be killed by the mosin/orsis which nerfs them.

    New War System

-1 Voting on an OBJ when a one obj war occurs is up to war leads. I know in recent times we mainly have been having one obj wars due to pop but summers around the corner. And during the summer we tend to see a large player increase. Most players are people who attend high school and college. There will be an increase in 3 obj wars soon if past year trends continue. Its also important to think about we are currently in a place holder map and when the new one releases will also bring back some old players. BUT the marker idea is good and I know its been brought up in the past. If we could find a way to implement it into the server I would be all for it so that part of the suggestion gets a +1 from me.

    Cashxc's Staff App

-1 We talked in a ts channel a few weeks back why I have a problem with you. You have a terrible attuited when someone gives you a different opinion. I feel like you would be an extremely biased staff member even if you have no relation to anyone involved. You also had a very terrible attitude on US. I have seen no change in your character other then the fact your less open about your opinions. I would like to see you grow more mature and gain the skill to having an open mind. I don't believe you make a good staff member mainly because what you said about your past staff experience in ts channels. Our staff team is very different to your dark rp administration. There a reason why garnet has survived so long compared to other servers and its for two reasons. Garnets hard work on his servers and his ability to handle negative criticism and Garnet strong staff team. People like Proggy and many others are great examples of the strong staff team garnet has built over the years. Even after saying all this I hope one day you do make the staff team one day. Your just not ready and I think you need to become more mature before doing so and that will come in time. Its something that cant happen overnight. People who have known me for a long time know that I wasn't the person I was 5 years ago when I joined. I was a immature, egotistical retarded. Do I have moments where I act like myself 5 years ago, yes we all do. My advise for you is to just keep playing the server and start reflecting about your life, can be garnet related or something else entirely. When you laugh about how stupid you once were that's when you know you've grown as a person. When you gain that skill I hope you make another staff app
  5. What are the risks in your eyes. I feel like new players already through the training don't know where objs are. They follow where others are going and if they get lost they just cap some other point. Ever play a war where the random 11B squad cap a completely random obj. The people who come to mass rdm know what there doing. No quizzes or speech will change that and its naïve to think that. The people that do rdm and are confused why its rdm should be get a verbal in a staff sit and explained to them so it doesn't happen again. You mention a recruitment table that explains rules factions and war. Our server isn't complicated, its very simple. You shouldn't need to attend a mandatory course to play our server. Our system is outdated and the biggest problem for new players that don't stay. The point of this change is to try to get more people to try the server. It doesn't matter how good our server is if people are unwilling to try. They can learn everything about the server by playing it. Everything "taught" in Recruitment is very common knowledge that you can learn from anyone. I think a good officer and decent player is one who goes above and beyond what there told to do. Helping new players is the best thing you can do for the server. Help them out instead of relying on a program that very little want to even participate in that they most likely wont even remember. Our current system is garbage and needs drastic changes.
  6. +1 I was unaware the m1 carbine didnt even have a scope. Who wants to use a gun without an optic
  7. The speed boost should be balanced around donor classes i was unaware of this nerf. But for the classes gaining additional health is not a huge difference in CQC pvp. It will only allow you to take one maybe 2 extra shots before your killed. It gives a skilled player an opportunity to react to be shot in the back or that extra shot might give them the courage to make a more risky play. But the biggest reason it should be added is being able to tank a sniper shot. This will be an indirect nerf to our heavy sniper meta without nerfing snipers into the ground. This will give players who don't have access to a sniper or who cant use a sniper skillfully will give them a fighting chance against snipers.
  8. Its good to get a clarification from you about this "rule". Its no waste of time i think its important that as a community we discuss things openly and get changes we would like to see is better then just hiding in our ts channel echo chambers.
  9. Even though its not an official rule its an unwritten rule. The reason for the post was to get this confusing "rule" set in stone. Either its allowed or isnt, its to unclear. Ive been told by multiple people including staff that it is a rule and you will get warned. And not to mention I may not know the 055th guys for example. But i see them everyday, its ok for there to be reasonable trash talk. Yes they can be concerted random because you never really meet the guy but I play against them everyday. Killing you and adding insult to injurie is a douche move. But Its brings out people competitive sides and pushes people to be better.
  10. Class Rework We have been running the same classes for too long. It's time to bring in a fresh breath into war. These changes will add something to almost every class. The biggest change you will see is nades. Its odd that we don't have more classes with grenades. Having a plethora of grenades to choose from will allow for more strategic play. Reasoning for speed boost, Our current map is really small but in the future is will be encourage flank play. Snipers should be constantly on the move being unpredictable and more cqc style classes give an edge for advancing more complex positions Classes that are tanky will encourage people to hold point. The speed penalty wont be a huge factor when your sitting on point holding an angle and the armor allows you to take more of a punishment before being forced to rotate or killed. 11. Another reason I made the post. We always tend to have 2 rule sets. unwritten and those written. I think its long overdue to come together as a community and ask for a clear ruleset
  12. I completely disagree. We wont lose any rp. When you hit SGT you now have the responsibility to pull new players to the side and explain things to them. Hey man this is what your name should be. Hey since your new you wanna stick with me this war and ill show up a few things. You say most trainers do not cover the majority of the training manuals but I haven't really seen that unless there soc. I hear all the time of them being quizzed, being told things that they really wont ever use. You can learn the faces when everyone does in DB turns around. You follow the crowd until they learn or they will ask for help. Removal of DS would also let players try both sides without any consequences expect rank and whitelists. We always goes through these waves of base factions struggling and we always do the same solution to fix it. Please spawn new players as tali recruit. Then we run into the problem of there not being enough US so we go back to civilian. Keeping new players as civilian also gives the opportunity for gambling rooms that garnet and others seems to be a fan of. I really cannot see a downside of letting go of these outdated system other than losing tradition If you ask people who gave garnet or other mrps a try but never stayed there is a common response. I didn't want to be trained, i didn't want to sit through some lame ass speech. I didn't want to take notes for the quiz. You really don't learn as much as you think during these trainings. Most people don't even pay attention. They just want to have fun and go through a 10-60 minute training.
  13. Im not surprised you -1 this post. You came to me about silo and yours pms. Now that really wasn't anything much. You are really letting how someone who never seen you before get to you. What are you going to do when your boss tells you that you suck at your job. What if your doctor told you are a bit overweight. Are you going to cry because they told you these things or are you going to make steps to improve your life. Getting shit talked in garnet will teach you how to handle negativity. Is someone being negative to you in a fun way. Just chatting a bit of shit. Or are they jealous of you. Maybe your taller, slimmer , richer and what ever reason you could be jealous of someone. Garnet is the best environment to learn these skills. Or maybe somebody worried about you and they understand that you need to see the ugly truth. There really is no toxicity in garnet openly. Its everyone chatting shit behind peoples back in pm and voice channels. And that is unhealthy toxicity. its how rumors start and bad blood. It builds up like a powder keg. I would much rather there be healthy toxicity then negative. It is an extreme example. Staff team should only limit toxicity when it leads to doxing racism and death threats. Those are negative ok. We as community should say hey man your going a little to far this time dial it back. Maybe you should apologize. Take initiative and call people out. its really that simple This is a great point. Look at welyn rust videos. He makes an entire story over getting revenge on toxic players. Rust is a great example of good and bad toxicity. Sitting on your roof and door camping is a real bitch way of playing the game. And you tell them that of course. Then you attempt to raid them and you win. You took down the Tower that been giving the people in the area a hard time. You have a memorable experience. This is a great example of healthy toxicity. But rust takes it to far when it gets to Racism and death threats. They take it to far sometimes. But we are a small server where we can weed out these terrible people so this bad toxicity isn't a big deal as many people think.
  14. +1 Quality member of the community and would be a great addition onto the staff team
  15. Not allowing something because of the extremes is ridiculous. People get into car crashes, should we ban cars? No we shouldn't, we are a small server if you notice that one of your friends or really anybody who is taking it to far tell him that's not cool or report them to an officer. As COL of DF i would never allow my guys to shit talk brand new players. its uncalled for and wrong. But if they want to shit talk the same guys they see everyday I think they should have every right to. Even though it isn't specified it is an unwritten rule. Players are still afraid to talk over bodies. I hear it all the time in TS. Staff and players should play by the same rules but that discussion is more for staff meetings then here but Staff should really know when it is and isn't to talk over bodies. When some people get shit talked they tend to get butt hurt and weaponize staff. The point of this suggestion is to stop weaponizing staff as that helps nobody and allows for some rivalries to form. As lame as it sounds every story needs a good Villain. Video games like Borderlands 2 and Far Cry 3 are famous for there amazing Villains. During those games you wanted to stick it Handsome jack because he always antagonized you during the whole game. Why cant we have similar experiences here. Lets use you and me as an example. Every time I kill you, you know I'm gonna talk some shit. It may be in OOC or over your body. Every time without fail. You could get me back by killing me and talking shit back, which would then get a small rivalry going and giving you something else to do during war then just cap obj and get kills. It provides a more memorable experience.
  16. It's honestly strange how soft MRP has become. A little bit of big brother bullying is ok and pushes people to be better. If any of you have a younger sibling growing up you have probably been in the scenario where you had to take your younger brother somewhere when you didn't want to. And even through protest he still tags along. Eventually you realize he is always going to be tagging more and more. So you try to push him to be better, and sometimes you have to make him hate you to be better. Because at the end of the day you're doing it out of the bottom of your heart and one day he will appreciate what you did for him. (And he won't be the weird little brother) That you pushed him to be better. So that means when I dog on you during war I should have every right to call you dogshit and scream like a retard. And you should have the right to do the same thing right back to me when you dog on me. Some mild hatred for getting shit talked every war forcing you to improve to where you can rub it in my face is great. Trash talk gives you a reason to improve and something to laugh about in a ts channel later. Pros Allows for small rivalries to form which in turn gives people a reason to keep playing and improving. Improve your social skills. Cons Some people will take big brother bullying too far like saying racial slurs or things that are completely out of line. Should be handled case by case Some people's feelings might be hurt? Lets keep it real, you are crying over gmod. Be better than that.
  17. Instead of being trained you are automatically whitelisted for Army Soldier and Support as well as Taliban equivalents. Pros Nobody likes to train, which leads to long train times which then leads to lost of interest Can try out both sides without being trained twice, encouraging players to give both sides a shot. Will also have the benefit of stopping the changes of how new players spawn. No need to set new players on tali recruit if players can freely try both teams Will allow players to have a more natural experience on the server. Allowing moments of opportunity for multiple scerinos. Ex : Separate debriefs or even making a friend Cons Will allow New players to rdm 10 minutes faster than before Staff can no longer farm sits Now as simple this change is, it will change the new player experience completely. Removing responsibilities of DS/Recruiter now puts that responsibility on us. If you weren't doing it before you should be helping new players when you come across them. Help someone set their name correctly. Show them around base. Whatever you think needs to be done to provide the player with an enjoyable experience no matter your rank or faction.
  18. +1 Fantastic DF member. Would see no issue with him being staff.

[minimum 2 paragraphs] I would be helping the server, helping players within the server, and being overall helpful to the staff team. For helping the server I will do my best in sits to resolve issues that a player is having and I have no problem of dropping whatever I have to help someone else. With the person that caused the issue I will give them the appropriate punishment and tell them future punishments they will receive if they keep it up. Lastly I will let the person know how to improve and tell them the reasonable response to the certain scenario that broke the rules. The player base is important to me because I met so many wonderful people and friends within the community over the last 5 years and they all deserve the best of their experience playing on the server. Helping with it I will answer any questions someone might have of the server a example is letting them understand rules they fully do not understand or explaining what can happen in war, raids, kidnaps and things like that which will improve people's knowledge of the server and they can play it to the full potential without breaking any rules or feeling that something they do is wrong. I'm a team player, I'm always talking to my lower enlisted in DF for there input relevant for the faction. I think its important to take input from those around you even if they arnt staff or officers as they provide a different prospective and insight. I'm always willing to admit if I make a mistake and fix it. We are all human and we all do make mistakes. But what I think its sad to see is that most people wont admit they made a mistake or take steps to fix them. I'm also not a yes man. I'm willing to call people on there bullshit and to stand up for what I believe is right even if people around disagree, but i think it should be noted that its important to find middle ground when you do disagree. I think dialogue is important. Have you ever been banned or punished on GG MRP? If so, Include details Just the rdm warn Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: GM back in like 2021/22 How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I will be more active on weekdays as i mainly work weekends. I would be able to provide at least 10 hours a week but would most likely be more

    Theos' Dismissal

Theos was never my favorite person and I disagreed with a lot of his changes but a lot said in your post was wrong. One issue of the staff team (Guilty myself) is that shit we disagreed with wasn't brought up in meetings but days it was implemented after, in private chats or ts channels. When you brought things up in meetings or before it was implemented you would see changes. Theos let staff comment on Docs for a couple of days with concerns and comments that would be address weeks before massive changes. You cant agree with every change a manager makes. But at the end of the day Theos goes above and beyond for the MRP community and he tries to make MRP more enjoyable for everyone. Sometimes the mark is missed or its changes awful in hindsight but at least he makes the effort.
  21. I have over 2000+ hours playing rust on a multitude of servers. I have been playing on your rust on and off servers since release. I remember raiding Ethan Greshnovs base and making early suggestions on loot tables in the beginning. The only warn I have on your servers from all games is one on MRP for rdm. We have talked in the past in TS about your rust servers when we were playing csgo. You said one of the things you want in a manager is someone with personal engagement with and I know the only time we talked or played games with each other is when we had a mutual friend like Bishop but this issue can easily be fixed. My biggest flaw would probably be I have no experience on moderating rust servers. But other than that I have a lot of time on my hands and I would enjoy the opportunity to be a manager and help bring back the playerbase.
  22. +1 Was a really active DF officer. Until he left me :(. Would be an excellent gm he always went above and beyond in df.
  23. DF already had a weapon change and it would seem ungrateful to ask for anther weapon change when we didn't even get our stat changes for the gun yet.
