  1. That is currently the suggestion being made, yeah. +1 to omega squad being a donor faction, there should also be a standalone clone commando as a donor class (like how MRP has the elite section)

    Ban Appeal

"talk" You had him join the channel just be really obnoxious to him, and ended up throwing shit at everyone cause they kept calling you out for being an asshole. This was also maybe like 2 or 3 weeks ago, and now you already have people not liking you on SWRP. Not a good idea to post a ban appeal when you clearly haven't changed your attitude. (also, this isn't about Vizii, he's not the one making an appeal)
  3. This is a suggestion focused on community opinion of implementation. The weapons and accessories are all up for change most likely. If you dislike something in the suggestion point it out and suggest something to fit in it's place. Complaining about it being unfair or bad and not actually coming up with a solution to what could be used instead does nothing beneficial for the thread. In the end, donations are donations. Obviously people aren't just donating to support to the server to support it (some do), but to get the item the donation gives to the player. It has always been subject to change and the donation store has had a fair amount of swaps and changes of guns, classes, and models, etc. Really, I'm assuming this is more about people getting onboard with the idea and system for how this works. 2 classes for each faction that goes with each of the VIP tiers. That's the main goal to focus on right now. The class itself is not a tryout lol. VIP/ELITE works like this: - You buy the package, and each faction has a class that goes with the respective perk you buy (if you buy elite you have access to both package classes) - You can only access classes you have a whitelist for in the respective faction, I.E you cannot play on a PDSS VIP class if you're not in PDSS. You can't play on Vega VIP class if you are not in Vega. You have to actually be inside of the faction to play those classes. That's what it means by the classes are "locked behind a tryout". It's a pretty fair system that is already on SWRP. This system allows for each faction to offer something for the VIP/ELITE players in that respective faction without making just one big class/multiple random donor jobs . It also makes it so those jobs can have small cap limits on them to make them reasonable.
  4. Lmao what? That's how you get the class. SF factions are going to have these VIP jobs available but you're not just going to gain instant access to these factions. He means that you are only going to be able to have the classes for the factions you tried out for Shrimps made a good point about it too, giving unlimited access to insanely OP VIP jobs would be a terrible idea, and some areas probably will get shafted a little more like entry considering that it's the first faction you are whitelisted for. Classes can always be changed as well Because somehow a paywall is going to give advantage to players with more hours on the server... anyone is able to donate my man.
  5. I think it would be a neat thing to have private areas for battalion leaders to do these things, but it's a really low priority currently. The same thing goes for bunk customization which more than likely will come in the later updates once a lot of the bugs and other things are ironed out and the server is running as smooth as it can be.
  6. You're pretty notorious in the community for being one of the biggest annoying, toxic minges. You clearly have had little to no change from when you played a few years ago seeing by everyone still thinks the same about you. Funny too how you claim that you were planning on leaving to change yourself yet you were a banned member of the community and had more than enough time to change yourself, so who's to believe you're gonna do it this time? -1
  7. Really interested in these class setups. The Elite VIP ones look really tempting to go for as well and offer a lot of variety for the factions. +1 to all of them, would really like these to be the ones it starts off with
  8. Glad you were able to restart the SWRP idea. Hopefully the server goes smoothly my man
  9. Made by some staff member that isnt even on the actual rules page, and as far I know hasnt been recently stated or posted anywhere. It should be removed but I know an appeal isnt a place for a suggestion. -1 since kyrie did report the situation and most likely was killed unwillingly

    Buddha - Hacking

Personally didnt understand the first clip but the second clip was pretty evident for aimlock/snapping. +1. It's a shame people do it especially those who hold power in the community.
  11. Jackpot :,) Young and stupid. Sorry that you have to deal with a skid who happens to have money and time to waste. Legal shit sucks too but if you go through with it hopefully it goes smoothly man.
  12. Everything you just said could not be any more wrong and incoherent. Ban wipes are gone, and if someone like yourself who had an extremely annoying and mingey past with multiple bans/warns has been unbanned then Rohan definitely deserves a chance to return to the community
  13. Does the quiz now apply to Marines or is it still considered Army and 2GA?

    Appeal Ban

Here is the format for ban appeals. You need to follow it otherwise the appeal will be denied

    Dex's Staff App

Knew you for a short time on RU and I definitely will leave a nice +1 for the app. You're pretty mature and you're a great guy to talk to. I believe you'll be able to handle staffing fairly well. Good luck
  16. I liked memin with you a bit on RU. I don't care that you cheated but it sucks you did it. Gl with whatever you do man

    Bhewy Ban Appeal

You got caught playing AND cheating on someones alt account yesterday. Perma ban is probably staying and you got the other person banned as well.
  18. I totally forgot I made this LMAO
  19. So, I guess we aren't holding hands anymore? 😞

  20. You're a cool guy, but you seem to be really inconsistent with wanting to play the server. You always seem to be quitting and coming back. A few days ago you told me that you were leaving the server cause you didn't like it anymore. Just don't think you'd be a good staff if you have dedication issues.
  21. There should either be an acception to this or the rule needs to be removed. There should be staff on duty during the wars to actually monitor this kind of issue. If the staff were on duty and recording (because staff can record considering it's a requirement for applications) they could easily be flying around and paying attention to crouch jump spamming and use the evidence to issue a warn and provide it if said person were to try and appeal it. It's tedious, but doing this occasionally and at least for a few of the wars that happen a day would definitely get it across that this shit isn't allowed and the amount of people doing it would probably dwindle. If at least one staff member did this and actually moved around the objectives and terrain they would catch a large majority of players doing this.
  22. I'm pretty sure once you take the quiz, taking it another time does not re-whitelist you if you lost those whitelists
  23. I wanted to comment again seeing as though the thread has received little attention and I never really put a lot of input at first The quiz should just be removed entirely. It has only created annoyance on the server with players gaining access to classes and not understanding any of the rules or way that the server works. The quiz completely throws away the guides and how they are meant to ensure the players are taught important details around the base and the server. Yeah, people are still gonna mass with or without the quiz but at least by physically giving training to players you are able to gauge their behavior and make the choice to train them or to not. With the quiz you don't have that option. Also, the quiz itself is extremely basic with common sense shit that doesn't actually teach the player anything. And even if one question does stump the player or they get something wrong, the quiz has no cycle so they can simply just retake the quiz 30 seconds later and not actually pay attention to the answer but just choose it because they know it's the right answer. To sum it up: The quiz doesn't give the players the valuable training that they should be receiving to actually understand what's going on It has increased the amount of massing on the server (a noticeable amount) Minge level has increased in base factions (like RDM) Understanding of rules and other important details about the mode, factions, base ETC are not properly given to them A separate point to add is how this affects Marines. Marines are still an entry faction but when a player passes the quiz they don't receive the Marine whitelists. Adding the Marine whitelist to the end of the quiz would not solve anything or make these points any less valid, but I thought it was worth mentioning because Marines struggle with this considering most players just do the quiz. The faction still has been able to hold a decent amount of numbers but not as many in comparison. Generally just a lot is skipped because of this implementation. I did support the quiz but I didn't initally think of how a lot of these issues would arise. Even with additions or changes made it wouldn't be all that helpful. A flat out removal of the quiz would be the best option. 2GA, Army and Marines are more than capable (at least should be) of picking up the slack on training and actually getting people trained when they are on the server, and if they aren't that's when the leader and officers start rearranging their DI's, do it themselves, or staff intervene in getting people to train.
  24. I'm not complaining though. You asked for opinions on the leaderboards and I gave it to you. It just doesnt feel as good as the one we had previously is all I was saying
  25. Completely the leader and officers fault. They should be encouraging training and when their DI's dont do it they do it and then get new instructors who will. I think given that given marines is functioning again and starting to become more competent; this suggestion shouldnt go through. We have a lot of potential to make marines stable again so best to see it out
