On paper, I agree with the decision. But in practice, all that this really done is ensure that those people who left and suddenly have nothing to come back to now have no reason to come back to the server. Regardless of the logic or maturity behind that. Maybe this could turn out to be ultimately for the best, but right now from the looks of it, this is something the community is against it. At the bare minimum, recent older leaders should be able to have reserves, should the faction they just led fall apart, but lose them after at least 2 people come after you.

I'd argue that if the rule of Intentional Mass Bans being Perma was introduced the day he got banned, he should be unbanned. Regardless if what he did was stupid or not (although it certainly was stupid), there is no way he could know that change was made, as he wasn't particulary active in the community at the time, so it wasn't exactly fair to him. +1 for unban.

As someone who massed when going away, why you do that to take a break. At the very least you save that for when you leave the server for good. The fact that you said you were gonna mass and then proceeded to do it, okay enjoy the 2 weeks of being banned, whatever. But why make an appeal when dozens of people who are staff included can testify against you. -1 Evidence proves he intended to mass.

The impression I got from all this was that Simone just didn’t give a fuck anymore and went about cheating to expose the hypocrisy and inabilities of those responsible for mitigating the issue with cheaters by cheating himself. Simone got caught real fast, while others who are cheating have reached higher ranks in factions even with a large portion of the server being aware that they are cheating. I don’t think there was much of reason to cry and cocksuck like some have done, but it did show the true colors of some people.
