-1 Just make a forum post and/or Club for your DarkRP Gang. Then use the Forums to recruit for the gang, and the forum post(s) and/or group posting as your "roster". In other words, all of this functionality exists already just isn't used often. https://garnetgaming.net/forums/index.php?/clubs/

Warns are automatically removed after 2 weeks - just don't break the rules and you'll be fine. If it's really a problem for you, taking a week or two off will allow some warns to expire.

-1 Did not fully read the staff rules. I think your application has a fair bit of filler. I don't think you need to become staff to build connections with people, nor do I think the reasoning "being staff will make me more active" is a valid one. I also feel like you say "I feel like" a lot more than I feel like is necessary: I would work a bit more on your next staff application; I believe you have plenty of potential and I see a good app in here I just think you need to not rush it. Consider what you can bring to the table, and my advice would be to look at past accepted apps and see what sticks out in those that you can faithfully use in your own. Other things to consider: Playtime should be exact time, use /playtime (your name) ingame 6-7 hours is a ridiculous amount of time to spend a day, staffing that is. You're not being paid for a part-time job, so don't treat it like one. Revised review (after update) I would say after seeing the updated app, he was able to take my criticisms and update his app using that to better it immensely. Looking at the old app vs. his revised app, I think this applicant shows a great bit of potential for improvement which is among the top characteristics I love to see in a staff member (although that's a hard characteristic to actually show usually). His reasons for being staff and the reasons why we would choose him over other applicants is far more thought out this time around. As I had predicted: there was a great app in there! Just needed a bit more time spent on it and a bit of critical thinking. I am updating my response to +1. It's clear he was able to spend time looking at his feedback, respond positively, and take that to create a great app. It's what I wanted to see even if it wasn't what I expected.

-1 Adding another set of printers doesn't make sense. Making an "ultra high tier" printer would be the same thing, and nobody wants that.

-1 I don't think you're mature enough or ready to rejoin the staff team. Your resignation was timed very nicely after physgunning me while I was staffing, which was seeming to become a pattern towards the end of your last run as staff. Also, you make lies about me and spread them around for reasons unknown (attention? to annoy me? both?) I don't know many people who were removed from the staff discord after retiring because of their interactions. However, you're one of them. "I having a fear of people in more power talk to me about serious topics deiced to back out and say " right I do not feel comfortable talking about this is it okay if I resign? " If you have a fear of talking to people in power, the staff team might not be a fit for you. You need to be willing to listen and understand where you went wrong, not just run away the second confrontation is presented. This is probably the most major reason I chose to -1, your inability to listen to or respect the opinions of higher ups. Improving yourself isn't something that you can just do over the course of a few days. If we look back a week or two weeks, you're being toxic to players ingame and starting shit in OOC, calling people names, accusing people of being a child predator, etc. which isn't a good look for someone who's trying to apply to become staff in the near future. Instead of spending time on talking with people to win them over and attempt to change their mind, spend time actually trying to provide the positive experience like you say you will and let your actions speak louder than your words. Until I see you make effort to back up your claims in your staff app I simply can't believe them.

Add TEC-9 or Glock to donator store
ShankNinja replied to StraightWhiteChristianMale's topic in Accepted
Tec-9 is a pistol and is both weaker and smaller than the Contender G2 which can one-shot people without perks and is allowed to be used by the hobo. @WreckEMsaints weren't you one of the people saying the Contender is fine? This is literally a Glock19 mechanically -
-1 Just tweak the dynamic propcount to make it fair for everyone if it's decided this wouldn't cause lag. The people who would benefit from this most are donators anyways, but this way it would be more fair and one might still have a less restricted base upon joining during high population (which is the only time this is an issue) Tl;dr I'm not against increasing prop count overall only because the jewel in a suit said it wouldn't impact performance; I am however against giving donators further basing advantages.

Add TEC-9 or Glock to donator store
ShankNinja replied to StraightWhiteChristianMale's topic in Accepted
+1 Tec9 is based If the Hobos could use SMG, or even inventory the weapons they pick up, this would be pretty neat. -
-1 Doesn't know the staff rules. I am curious which staff member allegedly told you that you didn't need to know these rules to become staff. Not even one of the two required paragraphs. No access to Teamspeak or a Microphone is a big downside

Can you detail what hacks were in use? Maybe a video of how hacking affected you differently than normal gameplay? Because this post reads like "someone NLR'd 5 times, total hacker!" to me. Anti-cheat isn't going to prevent someone from 'targeting' you and NLRing - that's what reporting is for. What cheats? This server's been up for over 8 years, no anti-cheat needed, so I find the latter argument unlikely. @Actavis_Medicine now THIS is what I was hoping to see. The guy actually noclips through your prop, and proceeds to spinbot. Finally, a single detail on how 'hacking' is affecting the players. The next step is for @Actavis_Medicine or someone on this thread to find the Anti-Cheat program that stops noclipping, since that appears to be the issue here (after wondering for over a week what the problem is). I understand the concern when something like this is occurring. With players being able to walk through props, this creates an immediately unplayable experience for those who are trying to base and RP. I'd like to +1 an anti-cheat. First however, I'd need to see the anticheat tested and working against this specific problem, otherwise we're going to trash the server's performance for nothing.

Taking a 2 week LOA so I can focus on work and myself. See everyone then

Garnet himself?? +1 Garnet would be a great staff -1 I have been informed that this is not really Garnet, which would explain why the app is so bad and the community feedback even worse
-
-1 Hacking is a complete non-issue if you aren't spending millions on duels. The hacks that impact players (ESP, Aimbot) aren't easily detectable and as others have said, false positives can ruin the experience for others (i.e. if you kill 5 AFK people standing next to eachother in a base, making the "too good" detection pointless) Your suggestion would go over better if you had a suggestion for a working anti-cheat that could solve any of the issues that occur on the server. A tool this complex is not something GG is likely to prioritize developing from scratch, considering anti-cheats exist to be bypassed anyways which leads to every currently running online game to have it's Anticheat serve to ban people using unpaid free-trial hacks, with the premium hacks all bypassing the most complex of anticheats. This isn't even considering potential strain on the server, though that's entirely dependent on how in-depth the plugin is.

Shin Tsukimi's Resignation from staffing
ShankNinja replied to Shin_Tsukimi's topic in Administration
I love you E-Girl Femboy Trap Shin Tsukimi You're one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met and I'm glad to call you my friend, inside and outside of Garnet Gaming. -

-1 This will make taxes impossible to work. Once someone maxes taxes, they will be impeached. Demotion feature was removed for being abused for similar reasons and I don't imagine it coming back, so I don't see this coming onto the server.

I didn't know carrying me in Apex took such a toll on your health. I hope you get better soon, I have challenges to do
-
Loving these updates, fixes, and content Excited to try Blind Guy, but most hyped about the performance boost. That's a pretty big optimization figure
-
+1 make skins cheaper too (the ones that cost 5 mill or more are just ridiculous) I get that it's supposed to be a money sink but most of this is borderline unused content I would change my mind if the skin purchases were permanently unlocked or if prestige tokens etc. were used to unlock them.

+1 I shouldn't have to explain the reasoning why I'd want to sit down while watching a movie, I've never watched a movie standing up once in my life except for maybe the time when I was tossing around a football at the Drive-in for Spiderman 2

+1 Pros: Mod experience Good playtime Has a referral 18+ Cons: Your paragraphs consist of very small sentences that don't really tell us much in the way of why we should choose you over other applicants. Your SteamID should be the SteamID, not URL. For reference, yours is STEAM_0:1:216577879 I don't think your paragraphs are as important as your actions. I would have given you a -1, but I have seen you on the last couple of days playing and you didn't retaliate or act negatively when you got killed by me so that's a plus as well. I will say if anyone brings anything to the table, my opinion may change: but for now I think you deserve a shot.

+1 Good paragraphs Good playtime Experience on staffing 5M (it's not much different here) You seem caring/helpful in game chat Above 18 (I consider this to be a huge plus) I might not know you super well but what I've seen you're a respectable person, and the way your app is written leads me to believe I'm right. I hope to see you on the team!
