Howdy Howdy fellow gamers! My name is Caleb and I’ve been playing games since I was a young lad. Since the start of my childhood playing video games with friends and family has always been a massive part of my upbringing. Being able to come home from a long day of work or school to a video game you love to play either by yourself or with your pals is truly a luxury. Especially nowadays with Covid and all of the other craziness nowadays it feels like video games have become more crucial for an easy escape. Vacationing is hard not only because of financial purposes, but because life is a constant battle and a lot of the time you can’t really afford to leave the war zone. After finding Garry’s Mod and especially after finding this community, I felt as if it couldn’t get any better. There’s an absurd feeling of happiness I get when I get to spend time with these guys and girls. I’ve spent a ton of time with the people in this community and I can honestly say I feel like apart of the family. I couldn’t ask for anymore as far as a server goes. That is why today I wanted to make a commitment to y’all.

I’m a long time server and have pretty much been in the restaurant business for over half a decade at this point. I know very well that people can be mean and hurtful, especially when it comes to most of our favorite cheap vacation spot. As a server I run into these people everyday and at this point consider myself a professional in dealing with people’s antics. At the end of the day people are just people. Some people will come into this server and become part of our family. Some people on the other hand will try to ruin what we have created. If y’all give me permission I’d like to help out with dealing with our everyday struggles on this server. And by doing so I hope to conserve and protect the community I’ve come to love. Please consider my application to become even closer to this family.  -The Goblin

    How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: As I am only serving right now and out of college I can at least give the server a couple hours a day of my time. (Usually More)
    If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?

I love motorcycles! Been into the two wheel gang since I was just a youngin’! I finally was able to buy my first bike last year and I’ve been riding the heck out of it ever since. Besides that, I’m a sports fanatic and will watch and attend anything from football to tennis!

Confirming referral! I spoke with Ganja Goblin last month about applying, and I believe I must have given my referral then. I'd like to say that I've known him since last year, and he's always been one of the most kind and decent people I have met playing on the server. He genuinely cares about the other players, he has fantastic interactions with everyone that I have seen and is always very active and social. He helps other players who are in need of guidance, while also integrating well amongst the older players who've been around a while. I believe that he would be joining the staff team for the right reasons - that being not for the sake of status or power, but to actually and genuinely make some kind of difference in the community and protect others against toxicity, with the aim of ensuring the longevity of the server so that hopefully many more people can enjoy the same times that we have all had. He understands what it means to have been on the other side of that, which I believe puts him in a great position to better understand and help others he will undoubtably encounter in the same situations. He understands the rules well from what I have seen, and I'm counting on him to be a truly fantastic member of staff!

I will say that it's exceptionally rare for me to give my referral, I hold incredibly high standards for staff on the server and don't believe that literally anyone is perfect (including myself). In fact, it's likely that you won't see me giving out a referral again, since becoming manager I remain largely neutral in order to better represent the player base. So please do me proud Ganja Goblin! Hold yourself to the highest of standards and never settle for anything less than perfect. I know you have what it takes 🙂

I love ChrisRid so much! And I’m so happy that he could see the energy I’ve been giving towards this group of guys and gals. I really do appreciate the recognition Chris. ChrisRid is the main reason I wanted to apply for this position because, in my opinion, he is the embodiment of class and is so respectful to all. Chris helped me stick it out during my first couple months on this game, and therefore it’s because of him that I’m applying today. If I can be anything like Chris I’d be pretty darn happy! Much love to all who have supported me along my Garnet journey. I hope now I can begin to repay all of my newly found friends.

Good app, good playtime, and I see you on constantly helping new players, basing, even out in the streets roleplaying. Can't wait to see you on the team!
