+1 I've lost a couple RPG's, and GL's just being forgetful asf, but i've watched some of my friends lose items that go for 50-100m and it's just a hurt piece to see.

I think it makes sense for cops to be able to drop weapons, given that the individual cop weapons and SWEPs can be configured to be undropable.

Agh. Dear God. Thanks for pinging me guys. It's almost been a year, now.

 

The main issue I see with this is that cops would be able to drop the super-cheap guns that the police dealer sells, but... Man. I really wish I could've dropped that crossbow.

There are no foreseeable issues with this, so long as the CP tools and weapons can't be dropped, (even from the police supply NPC.) As for whether or not this prevention is possible, that'll be a Garnet question, but I'll pass it along to our development Trello board either way.
