What happened? (include any proof): Simply, I was raiding a base and killed the players inside of the base. 2 players left the base and were killed in the process. I get banned for unintentional mass RDM for killing 2 people outside the raid area.

 

1. Chawhead says when I asked him how many people died outside the raid area, he said "I see two people killed outside the raid area" Then proceeded to say that logs show that more than two people were killed outside when in his own clip where it shows the entire raid, I kill only two people. If the logs show that I killed more than 3 people outside of the base, then why does the clip show that I only killed 2. Another argument that was made was that "The rocket was blocked by a prop". Even if that was the case, the explosion still shows that I killed only 2 people outside the raid area. The staff in their own words admit that I killed 2 people outside the base and the clip shows that as well.

Reply to the logs: Your logs show that I killed someone BEHIND ME who is INSIDE OF THE BUILDING at 00:46 in your clip. Either the logs are glitched, or the server somehow thought that shooting a rocket forward results in killing someone behind me, I shouldn't' be punished for something I had absolutely zero control over.

Again, it's not my job to provide the evidence it is up to the reporter. The clip clearly shows I shot the rocket at the building and killed everyone in there. Unless I used a Davy Crocket, then where else would I have gotten all those kills.

 

Note: this isn't me bashing Chawhead for what he's saying or anything, I'm just recounting the staff members logic throughout the sit.

Ok so after I got the report and was informed what had happened by the reporter to which they explained that they were hit by the splash damage of the rocket. After further review of going through our logs and where they showed the location of where everyone died I came to the conclusion that at least 3 people died in the street and 1 on the roof of the building making it a total of 4 people dying outside of the building. Yes, I did say that it hit the oversized prop but after further review and what I was trying to tell you before you were banned is that it actually hit a player trying to exit the base causing unintentional mass random death match and splash damage to players outside the base which is what caused the report. In the clip, you can see the person exiting the base and the rocket hitting them. You can also see the people on the street dead from the damage of the rpg. The new log system shows where the deaths happen down to a T providing picture proof of the incident, which is why I told you that the logs will show where the other deaths occurred. The clip only shows 2 deaths because how could a clip show where everyone died, unless you're actively looking around for them.

DENIED
After careful review of your appeal and the events pertaining/leading up to your ban. We regretfully inform you that your request for an appeal of your ban has been denied at this time. This is mostly but may not be limited to the following reasons:

1) You have killed the requisite number of people to qualify for MassRDM, and the banning staff member has done the correct due diligence (Video). 

2) The splash damage has been in contention for quite awhile, with people saying its very over-powered - as a long-term player, you should be very aware of this fact. "I shouldn't' be punished for something I had absolutely zero control over." You do have control over this, in the future, perhaps don't use a rocket launcher in a tiny area, in one of the more populous sections of the map.

However,  @Orion8559 has been reminded that the "Player Combat" Logs are supplemental, as they can be hard to read for multiple RDM instances, and certainly for non-staff members.
