The Garnut Nutter 15,168 Posted November 10, 2019 The Garnut Share Posted November 10, 2019  With the launch of the new map, new things came about! and we have a new developer helping me out    Optimization Patch A new update was pushed out to significantly raise client and server FPS. It came to my attention that even though we are using a less optimized map than our previous (Halloween) people were getting better FPS due to this patch This patch may or may not be troublesome to users on a Mac due to the lack of support for the OS on Garry's Mod. Users with beefy CPUs should see the biggest gains from this update, whereas those who's system is bottlenecked by a less than optimal CPU will not see any benefits. IE: i7 7800k (~30-35% FPS gain) vs intel Pentium G4560 (~3-5% FPS gain) based on testing   SECOND PART OF THIS UPDATE HAS BEEN REDACTED 6 1 Quote Link to comment
