Hello everyone!    Without waffling on too much, I'm going to be stepping down from staffing. Life has definitely been having its ups and downs lately and I've definitely been very inactive in Gmod the past half year. I was happy to have spent so much time on the team helping where I could and meeting all sorts of new folks who joined the team, and I hope and pray for the future success of our mods and admins. You guys are awesome and keep the vibes of the server good. 🙂   I can't write an entire list of everyone who has helped me along the way or have become friends in that time, but I will at least mention a few of you guys:   -Nutter: Thank you for all the time you've allowed me to spend playing, meeting new people and having a fun attitude about yourself. You're the best server owner I've worked for. -Merk: You've been very helpful to me in staffing protocol and I can't imagine doing what you do. Hope you have all future success! -Oyasumi German: I was very happy to have had you train me and I miss seeing you. Thank you for the time we shared! -Orion: You are the one person I could always play with who wouldn't try to drive me crazy for hours while we farmed. Always love playing with you! -GamingCarrot: You're a very funny guy and I think you were always someone that would make the server fun to play on! -Jonnyflame: Always had an easy time talking with you, and you seem like a pretty smart guy! -BusterBigNut: You helped me a lot when I got admin and your knowledge on the rules was a godsend when I was unsure. Miss seeing you, but hope you're doing well! -Fat Good Boi: My fellow Canadian, you are chaotic at times but I'm happy to know you. I hope you keep doing good for this community, you've got it! -Bob the Builder: Love playing with you, and you've got a sharp eye and mind when it came to staffing! -Schyzo: While I may not always gel 100% with you, I had a great time playing with you and you've been doing a great job holding down your division. Hope you continue to do well!   I'm sorry if I didn't list you here (again, there's a lot of people I've interacted with), but to anyone I've ever talked to, played with or even helped with their staffing duties: Thank you!   This is not me leaving the server forever, I'll be still around. Though I think my staffing days for now are over.   Thank you for letting me staff with you for two years, and hope to see you guys soon! 🙂

I'm glad you mentioned everything you did, so I may address your addressing lol. Part of what I've learned in the past year or so as stated in my staff app his how my actions and words come off compared to my intention. I never intended to be crass or cocky, I apologize for the GM stuff. Id love to talk about it so I could understand what I did wrong. I also understand the phys gun stuff and why that's frustrating, I thought I was apart of our healthy banter because I thought of you (and still do) very highly. As far as my ego is concerned, I don't believe I'm the best thing to ever happen to this server and I deserve the world bu,t I would be a lie to say I wasn't a good staff member and didn't deserve more than what I did get when I was staff. I put alot of work into the server and was insanely good to the community. A lot of my frustrations that led up to my resignation were founded in the piss poor communication among the exec+ in the community. To address the re application and rank situation directly, it never didn't sit well with me about getting my rank back. The reason I didn't want to start from the bottom is the perms ofc but also why spend so much time climbing the ranks again and earning shit etc if it was going to be the same situation I left? I originally wanted some sort of rank back just so I could do good by the server and not have to worry about anything else. However, with the changes in the staff team that I've seen it looks to be a lot healthier and cohesive. Thus making me re apply.

I'd like to address the positives first. You were a good staff member, you got shit done and whatnot, and in your position as an executive was helpful to making my division succeed despite the difficulties you had to overcome. Overall, you're just solid. Now, the main reason I'm split as of now is because of how high your ego is. The main reason you resigned last year was that you thought you were more deserving of manager over @Orion8559 at the time, which never sat well with me (still doesn't btw). There were occasions that made me think less of you as an executive, as you sometimes abused your position to get away with things. Whether it was using your physgun to freeze me while I was doing an event, or the multiple times you logged events your own way despite me explicitly stating they couldn't be logged that way, just for you to never listen to me, regardless of what I told you (even when managers told you so). Lastly, the way you went about wanting to come back as staff, but just be given your former rank back, or a rank lower, again aligns with your high ego. We're no longer doing staff handouts anymore, and from what I was told, it clearly did not sit well with you that you were not getting your rank bank at all and would have to reapply. I really don't understand this mindset where you think you 100% deserve things. Aside from that, I'd hope this all is changed if you do become staff again. Good Luck!!!
