Taking the community to the next level! Being that Garnet has grown to a community that now has 1000+ concurrent users on a given day, I would like to do some nifty things back for the community in order to create more interactions/build friendships. The forum 'Community Events' has been introduced, and a community event within the DarkRP server has been posted to kick it off to a great start, with $85 worth of credits to be won. MilitaryRP Public Map Testing Please plan for this event tentatively, however, I am aiming to have a public map testing session (including weapon balancing around said map) on the 1st of November, giving me 5 more days to finish up the majority of the map. I was previously aiming at releasing this map as a Halloween surprise, but unfortunately, did not meet the deadline this year, with that being said, I am really liking how this map is turning out, and the crazy amount of FPS I managed to squeeze out of it given what I had to work with (aircrafts, vehicles, dense city buildings) While this is upsetting news, I'm going to attribute the majority of that flunk to me literally being physically unable to commit to 12+ hour long mapping sessions, and it heavily affecting my rehab from my car accident. I'm still considering doing the whole "ADD A CUSTOM SIGN/GRAFITI TO THE MAP FOR A DONATION" in order to get myself a quality office chair, but I genuinely cannot come up with a fair price for the time being. Feel free to help me out.

Ima keep it real with you mate, I love you to death. But you do have a tendency to up and leave when things don't go your way. I admit I do too but I never really make a post about me resigning. Because hell sometimes I don't even know if I wanna stay too. But what I do know is when you're truely into something I know personally you fight to the last. Ive seen it multiple times again and again you sticking to your guns. Ill give two examples. MARSOC and Vega. As a MARSOC leader you did everything for the faction, even taking the fall in the end. With Vega I don't even need to explain but for those who don't know, you kept trying over 50 times to pass and not once did you fall away. You worked so damn hard because you knew you could make it and thats what gained my overall respect. Look Vizii fucked up, but this guy does have a heart and soul like the rest of us. I say bring him back with heavy restrictions "as stated" but it's not really my place either. But @retired if you do get unbanned. For the love of God stay low. Stay off OOC and be careful. (include any proof):v When I played for a different server at the time, I decided to check up on the server to see how things we're doing. With that, I chose to be stupid and talk shit on the server. From there I went full minge mode and changed my name a boatload of times and continued to be toxic. I was then banned for a week of NITRP which was then updated to toxicity. Why should your ban be removed?: For starters, I would like to think that my ban should be removed is because of the time that the event took place. Now, I can fully understand the jurisdiction given by the higher staff to update the ban to a permanent ban. But in my opinion I feel as if the way I acted should not have warranted a permanent ban. This was really the only "Toxic" Act that I committed while on the server Now, Obviously after taking some time to re collect myself yes I can 100% agree that what I said should not have been said. But at the same time this was really the only toxic thing that I had done. Now, These pictures shown are additional screenshots provided to which I was banned for. Now, When it comes to why I feel as if this should not be considered as toxic is because I was honestly just being a dumbass. I was cracking jokes left and right about non server things and was just trying to have a laugh while claiming this "was going to be my last time here". But at the same time, I also was told that I was banned for previous actions. In my eyes I believe this entails to SWRP and me "Killing" the server. I know that my departure most definitely hurt the server but my departure was not the main reason why the server had died. No Garry's mod server dies because one person with a small amount of power decides to leave and 4-5 others then leave as well. There we're many other reasons that contributed to the server dying and I feel like I was the main stock for it dying which is not true. I have said this over and over again while I was playing on the server that a developer or something of the sort would be a great help to servers coming back. But I also feel as if one of reasons the server crashed was because Garnet was putting too much on himself to do at once. Managing, Running and developing what 5-10 servers at once is no easy fit. Which is why I think having more staff, more people who could actually assist in development would have helped a lot in the long run. Now, I personally would like to think that I have gotten 10x better with how I treat people as a whole when it comes to playing on the server. I have had recent interactions with certain people within the server that have the opportunity to do massive things for it. If this appeal is accepted I would continue assisting those who can help the most, As a starter shown in the thread I made for suggestions. I've said it before and I will say it again, I want to help with anything that I can and I truly do think that with giving me a second chance even if I am not allowed to go for staff then I will still help as much as I can. Helping new players, Helping people with game related issues, Coming up with events or even just coming up with server ideas. I want to be there to help. When i'm on in the morning I notice a lot of people breaking rules, not very many staff are online in the morning I'm also up late too so I can staff all day, I have lots of time to play and help with anything that is needed. I will be also recording everything, all my sits. all my encounters and when I run into someone who is breaking rules. I'm looking forward to this moment because I have always wanted to apply as a staff member on this server, I play so much every morning and night. I want to show you guys how my staffing ability is on garnet and how well I know all the rules. But when I do see someone I always report any sorts of prop blocks, rdm and etc. I always record these moments too just in case they need any sorts of proof, so my appeals will always go in my favor, if anyone try's to appeal on the forums. Description: DJ job itself being added not the radio itself. Reasoning: Again I know another suggestion for DJ, but I completely understand that the radio addon hasn't worked. All I wish for is that the job be added again (snoop dog model like it was before) , but this time without radio and allowing media mic-spam. Obviously with limits like only music not annoying noises and such, no minge music as well like racists/overly offensive music etc. This was here for a little bit in like 2018 anyways but was removed by accident and never added. The job should only be set for VIPS like it was before as well to prevent minges/overall annoyance Additional Information: Based on my previous experience with being DJ on garnet, it's mainly brought happiness throughout the server with Abides cool clubs and such. I truly believe this would only benefit the server positively. If you've played when DJ was added you know how fun it was for the community.

This really made my day 10x better. I have to say the main thing that kept me in both marsoc and vega we're you guys. Not only did you will help a shit ton in both marsoc and vega, but you all immensely helped with becoming more mature. Believe me when I say it I never wanted to leave marsoc nor did I want to leave vega. Hopefully someday we can get all the old lads together and stomp some wars again. But until then if I end up getting accepted I'll do the best I can do to make sure things are better. I'll stay low when my help is not needed but until I find that im fighting to help. When you got removed from Cody on your other SWRP server, phantom is the only guy I remember, but there was like 3 or 4 more in the channel, you joined and asked something along the lines of “are any commander spots available”. It bothers me more that you though you’d even be considered after what you did. I still have some respect for you vizii, but I don’t like how you just left and took a ton of our player base thinking it wouldn’t have consequences (I know it was on SWRP, but it’s how he acted and handled it). -1 Edit: after thinking more, I’m not opposed to your ban being reduced, but a full unban needs to be earned.

To be blunt, I’m opposed to having you unbanned. You showed GG little to no respect from the time you started playing your other SWRP server up until your first ban appeal. Asking for power and then abandoning that position for not only another server but another network doesn’t sit well with me. You were privileged enough to be handed an opportunity to build up and sustain a brand new server. You not only squandered that opportunity but showed no remorse nor ownership for the ripple effects of your actions. You've blatantly lied. Little things. Larger things. While I believe a strong desire to lead can be a good quality, I don’t see that with you. I acknowledge that you’re capable of being a polarizing leader to a certain niche, but I’m not as quick to re-allow someone back into our server who has shown it such disrespect.

Description: I don't actually know how this event played out, but it sounds really fun, and @Graykidz told me about it, but also said it hasn't been done in a while. I feel like maybe we could possibly bring this back as a fun event, except make it without adding any addons (Unless it is seen fit to do so by somebody.) Maybe switch all who want to make stuff to hobos so they can all build stuff in the streets, and then sorta have a block party/carnival thing occur. I think it'd just be fun, and a pretty light hearted event. Some things that could be added are: -Hobo Casinos -Small "food" stands -Hobo music stands (Where they can play instruments) -Some sort of games made by creative hobos I just feel like this would be a fun thing that would help both bring new people to Garnet, and also help people have some fun in the dark times we are in currently, along with just in general. It also varies from how most event's I have seen are "Kill everyone!" events and stuff like that. It also wouldn't be too hard to police as staff, as if anything, it would probably help cause less NLR/Fail Base sits since more people will be focusing on the event then actually basing. As such, any sort of reports would sort of take the place of those reports, so it wouldn't be adding too many reports on then what a staff member would usually get, if it even does cause some sort of report(s). We could do the event on the sidewalks/roads near the PD, straight from spawn, and also on the PD's sidewalk and over into the fountain area. How will this benefit the community: Once again, I believe it can pull the community together for just a fun and light-hearted experience, and help people get to know eachother, strengthening the community a bit. I just think it'd be a fun thing for everyone involved, and would just be a fun event to do in general! Thanks for reading! Apparently donations have slowed down. Mod donations are up though. Thats how you get people that want to break rules such as mr homeless. Hes got nowhere to lay his head fgs He wont put himself out there for the real stuff, he wants to manufacture the heavy stuff.
