For those of you active on DarkRP, it's to you that I haven't been on DarkRP in a long time. I've simply put some other things first in my life and have prioritized basically everything over staffing. I've began working out regularly and I expect that my time in the gym is only going to increase over the next couple months. I've been focusing a lot on being a Dungeon master for my DND group and I want to put a lot more effort into my games. I also am starting my second semester of college soon so I'll have even less time for staffing. Suffice to say, there are just things in my life that I'd rather prioritize and succeed at then staffing on DarkRP. The main thing that I've been completely shocked & astonished at with the staff team this time around is how good the management team is. How the managers & Proggy have been running the server far exceeds what I was capable of as a manager and I think that is absolutely amazing. I've been playing DarkRP for nearly 4 years, and it's at this point specifically I believe the staff team is at it's best & most capable point. This leaves me to wonder, what will this community be like after 1 year? 2 years? 5? I'll definitely be back to check on the amazing progress of this great community. Description: Adding a set of Military Police classes for event purposes. US MP (31A/31B), and RU MP (VP) Reasoning: Adding MP would massively help with in-base events. Events where a soldier is murdered or a spy is in base. The sole purpose of MP would be to provide a more realistic atmosphere for a FOB setting. This suggestion was made with implementation in mind. These are easy additions using weapons and models that are already used by the server. Additional Information: In order to keep the need for additional add-ons to a minimum, we used the pre-existing PMC models, utilized by GB and 11B. While this is no issue for US MP using the models, RU MP may look out of place among the other Russian jobs. If anyone has any other ideas for these models, or would like to suggest a new non-intensive add-on, that would be great. *The MP-40 for RU VP can be changed since it is a German weapon. *The jobs for both classes can be changed, in order to fit the text requirement (if there is one) *The MOS is likely malleable as it is an event class. Why should I be Chosen Why should we choose you over other applicants: I know I would be a good choice for the staff team for a few reasons over other people. As mentioned below I have never been warned/punished in my playtime on the server. This for one shows that I know the rules very well and secondly shows that there isn’t even an instance in which I would Tilt rdm or break rules because I was upset. I make an active effort to follow all the rules and always have positive interactions with other people on the server. The second reason that I am a fantastic choice is my experience in real life that is directly correlated with working on the staff team, in highschool I was a top 5 ranked debater in the nation and now I coach debate, I coach on a team with over 30 students and 10 coaches from around the country that is entirely online opposed to traditional school teams, This environment is a structured environment with coworkers that I actively engage with and collaboratively come up with solutions to problems, whether it be helping a student get better or dealing with team issues between the people. If we are being honest the server is largely made up of people that are very young and my experience working non-stop with 6th-12th graders in a professional environment is an experience that will be useful as a staff member. As mentioned briefly above I make a very active effort to facilitate good interactions with community members, and always act in a very professional manner around staff and in the sits that I have been involved with. Next reason is I have a great level of forgiveness and patience, in Gmod for example, I got insided by someone pretty high reputation within the server, within a day we were back to being chill and basing together, I believe that when I interact with people there should be some level of a clean slate, you never know what is going on in someone's life and I think that benefit of the doubt is sometimes left out even in a game that seems trivial to most of us who play. The amount of people that I have talked to that have really used Gmod as an outlet in their life, is actually very significant and I really want to preserve this community as an outlet where people can express themselves without extreme toxicity or any other issues that might arise. The last reason you should choose me over other applicants is my willingness to help players, in OOC if there is a question that is asked that I know the answer to I always make an effort to respond, I don’t want to become staff just to be better than other players or to assume a position of power but instead out of my own enjoyment and love for the game and ultimately I hope that I can create a space that people enjoy as much as I have enjoyed the time I have spent making friends and playing on Garnet. Hobbies If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod: As mentioned above debate is a huge passion for me that I pursue, My one other passion is Competitive Skiing, I am a competitive skier that competes in Freeride/Big mountain skiing, Over the past few years I have dedicated a lot of myself to pursuing the craft and something to note is when I get dedicated for something and really enjoy it I spend lots of time perfecting my craft. While Skiing and Gmod are not similar at all I can say that my work ethic that has allowed me the potential of breakthrough on the professional Skiing scene, is the same work ethic that I always apply to activities that I enjoy such as Gmod and Games writ large. for skiing last year I skied 97 days and am going for 100 this year!! Description: Very self explanatory suggestion. I believe there should be a 3 month rotation between maps. This would be a quite simple thing to do with the "/setmap" command being added to the server. I think I speak for majority of the community that maps get very bland anytime over 2-3 months. It's the same thing while we wait for the executive team to move onto the next map. Now it would be very easy to do. Simply give Manager/SA the ability to use /setmap (if they can't already) then at the end of the 3 months they can simply set the map to the next one. A simple 6 map rotation would do well. To add some context to this situation, zen needed some help with a sit, and empty wanted his warn removed due to there being no video. Zen informed me that empty had previously not argued the reporter's claim so he warned him, but after I got there empty claimed the reporter was in his base. Logs don't provide locations, so he would've needed a video to warrant a warn there. According to zen, empty started making the claim that he killed the reporter while he was inside his base after he had been warned. I was only called in to help after the warn had been given, so I can't tell you how true that is.

This is a program that runs in the background of the game, and allows for non-roll casino games to be played. All games work by copying values to your clipboard, for you to paste in chat in-game. The games currently packaged are: - Dice (Roll any number of dice), - Roulette (Gives a number from 0-36) and its colour on a European roulette wheel - Double or Nothing (Player's can choose to double their bet as many times as they like, and cash out when ready, but each double has a chance to go bust) - Mystery Box (Dealer sets the jackpot when starting the game, will generate a random money value for a player to win) - Scratch Cards (Dealer sets jackpot when starting the game, will generate a set of three numbers, if all three numbers are the same, the player wins that number in money) - Blackjack (It's just blackjack, does not have support for Split, or Insurance) - Video Poker (Generates 5 random cards, the player then chooses which of those cards to keep, with the others being replaced, if the player has a valid poker hand they win) - Craps (A dice roll generates a number from 2-12. 7 and 11 result in a player win, 2, 3, and 12 result in a player loss, any other number will need the player to keep rolling until they either get that number again (WIN) or roll a 7 (LOSE)) The games are controlled by using the keybinds: ALT+I (Advance Game), ALT+O (Reset Game) and ALT+L (Stand in Blackjack). I'm very glad you asked this. The use of MP would be for event purposes, so GM's could set peoples job to participate as it. This system has been succesfully used for Taliban and GIGN in events without a hitch. The other two event classes in the category, VVS and AFSOC are whitelisted classes that are ran like normal factions, yet are really only utilized for small trainings or GM events. In summary, it would be a setjob thing for events. If a faction leader would like to implement MP as a real thing in their faction, they would have the flexibility to do so, with the ability to remove it at any time if it devolves like you guys say (although I doubt it would be implemented in factions).

So, here is the issue with MP when we originally had it on CS_Desert it consisted of a lot of power hungry individuals or people with just a big ego in general. They’d arrest or detain who they pleased for practically no reason and this led to both ANP and MP being removed. However, I can see Military Police bringing used in an RP environment only when required by Gamemaster it would be cool to see how that plays out. But when it comes to it being an actual job that people can tryout for play and use in base not during any actual events that is where I will -1. But if the faction is only used in an RP sense I will go ahead and +1 this suggestion.

The way I envision this class is that it is mainly an RP one used for events, and not a faction you can main, it would be a second life like AFSOC or VVS. If a faction leader would like it to take on a bigger role within their base, they would have the flexibility to do so.

I didn't say you was in the other sit. I also didn't say I warned you because I felt I was being trolled. I warned you for RDM because you RDM'd. RDM is RDM regardless whether you're in a party or not. Tell your friend to not report you next time or check your friendly fire options in the party

I'm going to deny this, here's why. It's literally cupids first day, people do make mistakes. It's unfortunate what happened to you, however if we demoted everyone who's made a mistake we'd have a very, very small staff team. Cupid will be talked to about this, and if it happens again that will warrant a more serious punishment, however I'm not demoting him for making a small mistake I've seen even admins make before, especially on his first day.

You must have video evidence to justify a warn when provided with two conflicting stories by both the reporter and the reportee. You provided me with no story that would justify you killing him (other than claiming you didn't RDM him, and that I need video proof to warn you) until after I warned you.

we did have it on cs_desert and i was apart of the mp as well i dont remember it being as bad as you are describing it as it was a very strict faction and anyone who was caught abusing the class was removed from mp no questions asked especially since the class had the batons for arresting stunning and un arresting people, this is also going to be like AFSOC or VVS where its mostly used for like passive RP/events and can take as big or small of a role in each faction as the leaders decide on as Kurtle said.
