He didn't leave GA on a bad note. He left GA because he can no longer be part of the server anymore I don't know Conway's reasons for being inactive or what so ever. But, he had his reasons too and they could've been personal or not. He is a good leader he proved himself when he first became GA also when he was in Navy back in the days. Description: [description of what you are suggesting, one paragraph minimum] The ares strike is one of the most OP weapons in the game, is also one of the most annoying fucking weapon that has ever touched any Garnet server. It is completely obnoxious to the point where I start RDMing just for it to stop. I love the ares strike, I really do. But the fact that my ear drums just wanna strap a bomb to their ass and detonate when someone spams it. There is no reason in my opinion a weapon with that much ammunition should be that loud Reasoning: [how would this benefit our server?] I don’t want to get hearing aids because of a Gmod server

Suggestion: I suggest we bring back the crowbar as a permanent weapon in the donation store. It used to be something you could get with !credits however it was removed due to minging. HOWEVER the brick now serves the same noises, and hasn't caused any major issues. I think it's high time we turned the server into a bunch of Gordon Freemans. This requires no add-ons, and will probably get some people to buy it easily without really having to do much. It'd be a fun weapon to have back, especially due to the brick being made a few months back. It's also very possible to simply make it a custom class weapon instead. Benefits: The cost of adding it back as a permanent weapon off the donation store is virtually nothing, and could bring in even just a few purchases would make it a profitable option on the store. I know I'd buy it and some other people would buy it, and we got bricks and other melee weapons already! Garnets gonna be raking in some extra credits simply through this! Extra info: The crowbar was previously removed due to people banging it against props, however you can do the exact same thing with the brick.

I have both relevant and non-relevant experience to this position both of which give me a unique ability to look at things subjectively and carry the viewpoints of Insiders and Outsiders from the Faction/Order. I have seen many factions come and go, mostly faltering due to a lack of balance of power. I strongly believe in the ability to delegate from the power of a Jedi from as low as a Padawan to as high as a Master. In short, I know how to structure Jedi, the previous Jedi took literally weeks to rank up even to Padawan II, Padawan III, or have a chance at a trial, on-to which because of that you couldn't truly help the regiments/battalions; which is a hallmark of Jedi. Jedi can be hit or miss. If done correctly Jedi would be a good ADDITION, not a replacement to clones as it previously was. If I was accepted or selected to get the position I would impose an "ROE" of sorts to prevent Jedi from unnecessarily pushing ahead of Clones and thusly mass clearing out objectives; ruining the fun/event/roleplay. The ROE would be a simple concept, any Jedi may not be further than a Clone of their assigned regiment. This would what I believe allow Jedi to assist but again, not replace the usage of Clones. Any former GM on GG SWRP can note this was a MAJOR issue when it came to running events, and any Naval member can agree this posed massive issues when delegating tasks. As for other possible changes, it's simple delegation and democracy, every major change would be voted on by Council, made of select gorup Masters to ensure a fair view point/perspective and to avoid unneeded/unnessaracy changes. I have a whole wealth of knowledge about Jedi and StarWarsRP in-general. I have no doubt in my ability to be fair and effective if given a chance, especially in an opportunity to be a "supportive" position such as Grandmaster and Jedi in-general. Specifically to SWRP, recently I have been told by a group of former SWRP players that my ability to create comprehensive, complex, enjoyable events and roleplay scenarios is nearly unmatched; which I feels ties extremely well into the position. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? Any bans have been successfully appealed, I have 2 inactive warns on MRP, 1 for using /roll and the other for doing 16 damage with an RPG to myself the day it was made the RPG-7. How would you use the role you are applying for? As covered before I firmly believe Jedi is a balance of Support and Unique roleplay; it's finding this balance through roleplay leadership and teaching that allow this to be done effectively. One way to "teach roleplay" is to have "Force/Form Lessons" which not only provide a utility of teaching the players proper usage of the force powers/forms but also how to avoid abuse; these lessons would include aspects of roleplay throughout. Having the person enter stages of meditation, concentrating to the force to an area relevant, keeping emotions in-check, honing in on the calls of the midiclorians, and then extending the force around and object to lift it and then slowly let it down, then finally exiting the state of meditation; of course this is an example of 1 lesson, but they would be laid out in a document for people to teach newer Jedi. Specifically as Grandmaster, it would be an "advisory"/"supervisory" role; allowing a Council like body to approve changes with myself being a tie-breaker. This may not be do-able in the beginning but it would be the ultimate goal. As for Non-Jedi Interactions, I feel as if Yoda is the perfect character to play a part in pure-advisement and training, introducing and facilitating new players Jedi or otherwise, and lending a hand to any regiment that could be in need. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I have from 5:30 PM EST to 11:30 PM EST, now that work has settled down I have no doubt in my ability to contribute time to the role, as I have demonstrated in the past. I know that my amount of punishments may be concerning, but I've learned from my past mistakes and will not make those same mistakes again. I've never lost my temper in any in game situation or sit, and I actively try to be positive around others to not upset or annoy them. One thing I always strive to do is help new players out so that they may stay on the server and play longer. This includes giving them money, helping them with their base by showing them good props to use, giving good weapon recommendations, and talking to them about any concerns they have. Something that I've realized is that raiding people usually isn't worth it, and causes more anger and grudges to occur. Therefore, I've stopped doing it as much and have focused on just having fun with not only my friends, but everyone if possible. Another thing I've always enjoyed participating in is events. They've been a fun way for anyone to take their mind off of things like printer farming, as it can become very boring to partake in and often takes up an entire day to make profit if you get raided. I would love to host events or even make new ones myself so that they can occur more often and maybe get more attention towards the server. I've also learned a lot about the game's mechanics in the time I've played on this server including commands, specific settings of various tools, and easier ways to do something that can save a lot of time for people. I'm usually on for 5+ hours a day, which will help me be able to make other staff members jobs easier by handling reports and issues in a timely fashion. I'm extremely thankful for all the people I've met on this server, as I doubt I would still be playing today if it weren't for the people I've met. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details I have been banned twice and warned once on this server. Both times I was banned was when I was extremely new to the server and had not yet read the rules as I didn't believe they were extremely significant. #1. My first ban was for FailRP + LTAP back in February. I had a base and it was raided. I didn't think about NLR so I came back and tried to kill the man raiding my base before he had stopped. I then left and rejoined so that he wouldn't have my printers. Later that day I was banned for two days. #2. My second ban was for Mass FailRP back in the middle of July. I know this is recent but I've learned that what I did was wrong. My friends were both arrested for longer than they should've been, so I became a warden and unarrested them plus another person. I did not know this was against the rules at the time and was banned for two days. After this I gave the rules a large read so that none of these would happen again. #3. My one warning was for RDM on a police officer that was arresting someone during a lockdown about a week ago. I killed him because I didn't want him to arrest the other citizen. He reported me and I got a warning. I was confused as I had done it before and never been told anything about it. I know my warn was justified as the officer had no idea that I was there, and wasn't going after me at all, and this was a dumb thing to do. I've maintained ~20-25 hours per week on MRP, mostly on weekends. I don't really know how more active I can be.. I guess I could spread my time more evenly. I'm active enough to have been promoted to GM II last month but that's just me. The agreement for me getting GA again was and always has been to hold onto it until someone was trained. That person was Theos who was given it, 5 days after coming back from his LOA. My main reason for being able to only contribute 20-25 hours is working a full time job and going to school. I agree +1, This would make the island area and water area more active and create more activity if we have another roleplaying job, Also the water area and water buildings would be put to more use if this was put it. It would be a great Idea. Thus would make another job for people to use and create more ways to make money.

Welcome to DarkRP! In this guide, I will teach you how to start off in DarkRP! From making money, how things work and more all in one post. Without further a do, let's get started! Anything highlighted GREEN is considered important to know Below is a link to all our workshop addons such as textures, weapon packs, etc. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=547114066 1. What is DarkRP? DarkRP is- well what the rest of the GarnetGaming community would call it, a place where anything and everything can happen. It is a place where you can make friends, meme around and all in all have fun! If you are reading this, the literal first thing you should do is open the link below. It is our server rules so please look through it. 2. What should I do? My recommendation would be to first meet the people in the server. Make yourself known, include yourself in things and over all just be a nice person. Trust me, it'll go a long way. You should try and experiment with jobs such as delivery man. The delivery man job is the best job to start out with all because of how easy it is to get a quick buck with. 3. How do I make money? The best way is Money Printers. Money printers is the essential way to make money and the best way to make it. to use it, follow the directions below F4 - Entities - Money Printer You can purchase a total of 2 money printers and they are upgradeable. The two upgrades are the speed of the money made and how much money is made from the printer. Those upgrades cost in-game cash, so have some to spare before buying the printers. BUT Not everything is sunshine and rainbows with money printers. All printers have this thing called a COOLER Cooler's are what keep the printer up Every 20 minutes, the cooler goes off and you get a warning in chat. It will cost you $750 every 20 minutes to reset the cooler. The max upgrade is 7 for each category. But, if you purchase VIP via our donation store, it can be upgraded to 10! 4. How do I make a base? Well, one thing I would recommend is to purchase VIP. Reason being is because you can unlock a tool call Advanced Dupe That is a tool used to copy, save and paste builds made. You can make dupes either in the server, or you can hop in a sandbox to make a dupe also. Below is our basing rules which will guide you on how to make a server friendly base dupe: KOS lines only apply to interiors. You may only kill someone inside your base if you have a KOS sign placed on the exterior of the building. Do not build in the streets (Unless your job allows for it). This includes partially blocking streets, checkpoints, megabases, etc. Obscure KOS or Building signs are prohibited. Signs that blend in with building or materials are prohibited; Furthermore, KOS or Building text screens must be a minimum size of 40. You may only build on the inside of your base. You may only base in a building with purchasable doors. (the waterfall and cave base are the only exeptions) Your base must be raidable by all classes with raiding capabilities. Example: CP, Thieves, etc. If you wish to construct your base without getting raided, you must place down a text screen reading "Building" onto the exterior. If you have a building sign placed on the building you're basing in and are actively building, you're immune to muggings and raids against yourself. You may not have a building sign and a kos sign simultaneously. If a building sign is placed on the exterior of a building all roleplay is paused inside of the building. While your building sign is placed, you shouldn't have any valuables/entities inside your base. Example: Placing printers inside the base with a building sign. (Or any other item purchasable through the F4 Menu). You may not have more than 4 fading doors operated by keypads per base Players should only have to crack each keypad once upon entry and once upon exit. Example: Bases that loop around requiring your to crack one fading door multiple times. You may block off excess entrances to your base. Example: Blocking windows, backdoors, garage doors, etc. You may not megabase You may not have a base designed to trap people. You must be active within a base which you own the doors for. You may not own multiple buildings unless your job allows for it. You may not build on sit roofs i.e. Roofs that staff actively use for reports You may not spawn or edit the brightness of lights over 512 and a magnitude of 2. You must own all of the exterior doors to a building in order to build upon it. You cannot force someone to crouch during a raid for ANY reason Example: Crouching to shoot back, crouching to crack keypads, etc. All keypads must have a hold length of at least 6 seconds. Every fading door must have a keypad or button. You may not materialize fences. Do not set up an unfair advantage in a firefight within your base Example: Where you can see and shoot someone, but they cannot see or shoot back or any other unfair advantage. No invisible props, buttons or keypads. Blackout/Colorout bases are not allowed. Maze bases are not allowed. All entities are considered props - this includes cameras, text-screens, etc. Keypads must be visible and directly beside the prop which they operate. Do not materialize or hide keypads/buttons. You may not no-collide props to act as hidden doors. No faulty keypads (keypads disconnected from a fading door). No crouch bases (forcing another user to crouch in order to enter your base). You cannot force someone to crouch during a raid for ANY reason Crouching to shoot back, crouching to crack keypads, etc. 5. What kind of roles are there in DarkRP? You can be anything you want! Civil Protection, Medic, Citizen or even a criminal! It's is all up on what you want to be on the server. 6. Im a Senior Mod now, ive never felt more proud of myself.

He was very intent on there being a purge event, I confirmed in admin chat as well as logs there was definitely not a purge event. 6+ people were killed during that time. I admit that MRDM should probably be Replaced with an Unintentional MRDM ban but either way MRDM was for sure committed, and the fact it was done with a donator credit knife made me think he was not a new player. The sit was not recorded but I was very respectful did explain that Purges do not happen on this server he apologized but do to the amount of people killed I felt a ban was sufficient. Like I said though Unintentional MRDM was the better choice.
