Description: Before I start my suggestion, I will say that I have never dedicated anything more to when it comes to a server then this Military RP server [GG]. Making my way from 11X PVT to 19A MAJ has been a trip, a fun trip that I hope to give to other Garnet members that wanna experience the server. With that said I'm hoping this major suggestion can get to the people of Garnet Gaming Military RP. Tanks, it can be and probably is a big subject due to the amount of good/bad it could cause to the server. BUT with proper handling, with proper implementing tanks could be a foreseeable feature that could prove beneficial to the server. I suggest that we add tanks and/or some form of weaponized vehicle due to the rising Army faction 19D Cavalry Scouts. Not long ago I founded in the Cavalry Scouts, I created a new tryout sheet with images, combat sim sheet, and implemented the idea so well that our roster filled up in almost 2 weeks of being created. I suggest to add a certification within 19D that will give us the chance to show some of our Scouts are responsible for the use of such vehicles like tanks or weaponized vehicles. Having us set up a form of certification with Cavalry Scouts will allow us to better choose who gets to use this new feature so that nothing negative can come from this new feature. This could also lead to new classes/jobs in the US Army and Taliban Army, possibly Tank Drivers class with requirements of having a certification. Reasoning: 19D Has seen some great updates from Garnet the man, the myth, the legend himself, but Military RP experiences could be so much more with this suggestion. With this new vehicle we could have better more diverse events from GM's, a certificate of approval to use the tanks that our Cavalry Scout units could work towards, something new and flashy to show off on the server. Lets face it, before getting to this part of my reasoning you're probably turning away from the idea of such a thing coming on to the server and I don't blame you, but with proper handling and care something like adding a tank could bring a whole lot of fun/interesting experiences. Perhaps before turning the idea away, maybe think about giving it a chance? I like this server a whole bunch, I committed myself to showing high activity so that the community of Garnet in Military RP can grow. All I ask is for a chance to give myself and the many great responsible leaders of Cavalry Scouts to prove that it can benefit the server, you won't be disappointed. Additional Information: Both sides could have a working AT-Class (Anti-Tank) and a Vehicle driving class After testing some server addons/vehicles with an unnamed friend I have figured out some astonishing results, after taking 3 RPG shots close range (point blank) in a HUMVEE it survives with 75% health. For HUMVEE's I propose to have it be made 2 shots to take it down, one to immobilize it or reduce its speed immensely and another to destroy it since in real life it could survive only up to 2 blasts. For tanks I'm thinking it should take at max three RPG hit's 1 to reduce its speed at around 15-25% since an anti-tank explosive would cause great damage to the tanks engine, 2 RPG hits to completely disable it's movement or reduce it by 80-90% since by now it would've caused massive damage to its internal parts/armor, and 3 RPG hits to destroy the tank. The HP for both vehicles is just at its first draft so any notes/suggestions would be appreciated. Training will be hard to accomplish due to the amount of responsibility a trainee would be gaining from completing 19K/Armor School tryout. More information below. Tryouts being held will be as hard as Delta Force I have personally sought out to compare and put similar difficulties from DF/other SOC tryouts in 19K tryout [BETA] sheet so that no minges or other unwanted personal get access to such vehicles. Going forward, any tryouts that are held that are not to standard will be automatically cancelled due to lack of professionalism, also the tryout host will be put to question. (This is a serious suggestion and I will take it seriously because I do know how much of a change this suggestion would bring.)

Well damn! It's been a good run and it was pretty short but it was still really fun. The reason I'm resigning is that I'm currently having alot of issues in my life with my Grandfather just passed, failing at school and shit, etc. Honestly I got really bored from playing Gmod and Staffing and I think that I'm not that much use to the team anyway, I also wanna say that this is my last time playing Gmod and it was incredibly cool meeting my ex-staff buddies and bein' chill with them. Been since late 2017 since I joined but from I remember, I was watching a lot of Vanoss GMOD videos and just thought it was fun so I hopped on and GG MRP was the first server that caught my attention. Made a few friends in the first week (Gotham) if anyone remembers him. But then I started having a lot of fun and stuck around and now most of the people I play games with are the boys from early MRP days.

found a random murder server and have been in love since, currently have 8k hours + on GG murder

my friend told me about garnet and we were originally trolling people but i ended up taking a liking to the server and here we are.

Its been a year since I joined the community and I'm interested to know how you all found the community. Was it through friends or did you just click a random server and here you are now? I found the community through playing Rust with friends, found a cool server, and eventually joined the staff team! Since then I've also played Garnet DarkRP, MRP, and TTT.

Well, this is it folks. (no I'm not leaving the community or stopping playing darkrp) I got to say, I never really thought this would happen for a long time, but after 2+ years of staffing I am getting tired, and balancing out college work as well is going to make fulfilling the duties I swore to complete as manager impossible. I'd like to have a stress-free summer before college begins, and honestly my physical health has taken a dramatic toll over the last few months due to a variety of things, including stress. Anyone who heard me on my "bad nights" can attest to that. Despite this though, it has been a honor and a privilege to manage our DarkRP team for over a year, and even moreso an honor to have been staff on Garnet Gaming for 2 years. I have already spent a while talking with proggy over this, and have transferred all my documents I have created to him for his use. Know I am not at all leaving the community by any means, and I'll still be around all the time. I'm just stepping down from a position where I am doing staff work. Like hell I'd leave this community, you guys mean the literal world to me. So again, i'm still gonna be around all the time, just not as a staff member but rather as a normal player. I wanted to shout out some important people throughout my journey of being staff here, while I may not mention all of them know most of you who I've kept in contact with are people that matter to me. I committed to MRP in January last year, and except for my dirt digging for a month, have more or less spent the entire 16-17 months on MRP. From my early stages in MRP, being active when the server was at a low, I was fortunate enough to get a push from Officers and Staff back then to contribute more and more to the server. Back in the days when I was in Army, I felt an immense responsibility to the 11B who deserved an actual experience of the server, and tried to provide that to as many of them as much of that as possible. As time went on, I had my little dirt digging session, and when I came back was given the position of GA in Army when Army was struggling. During that time, I felt an immense responsibility to all of Army who deserved and needed change to improve the faction. In November, that responsibility had burnt me out, and I chose to hand Army over to someone with more motivation than me, as I felt there was no point leading the faction if I didn't have the motivation. 2 weeks later, the Manager resigned and myself and Salmon were effectively managers, and at the end of the month I was again fortunate enough to be officially made Manager. During that time, I felt an immense responsibility to the server, that was undergoing a definite transition, to try and provide a better experience for players. As time has gone on, that feeling of responsibility has burnt me out once again. Something that I wished to announce on my own terms, that unfortunately I was not able to do, is that the feeling of responsibility to the server and the role of Manager has been harming my mental health in the past 2-3 weeks. Ideally, I would love to continue as MRP Manager and try my best to help the server, but I know that when you find yourself in a hole, you don't keep digging. I'm resigning from MRP as Manager, and wish all those on the server who truly want it to do well are empowered to help as much as they can, but I will remain in the community so this isn't a full goodbye. Ummmmmmm I wanna say for me it was looking for something different. I had been playing santos rp and cops and robbers servers. Didn’t really know what the whole drp thing was about so said fuck it then joined.

+1 Perfect, 100% agree on a cooldown time so that it wouldn't be used as more often and giving unfair advantages. especially with the MK19 Automatic Grenade Launcher shouldn't be a thing, just a regular M240 Bravo or something would be nice.

I chose Deft because I like the band Deftones. The Brixton part comes from a song by The Clash that is one of my favourite songs. Deft also means skillful, despite the fact I have the worst aim known to man.

Joined a server that required a first and last name. Turned to my sister and asked her friend for a first name (Robert) and her friend for a last name (Fonza). Ever since then, I played under the name “Robert Fonza” in most Gmod servers and haven’t changed since.

Just got Gmod and was bored, went to play military RP and Garnet was at the top of the list.

If you are not actively playing (on a consistent basis) I would refrain from posting on suggestions. Suggestions are a place for people to express their ideas for the server obviously there are more important things to focus on and that’s why we have a trello. I won’t leave my opinion here but if we really want to get people more involved in the server I believe squads like 19D are the way to go. SWRP splits their main units into divisions of I believe 3. Yes, I know we are not a PVE but it seems to very obviously be getting their players engaged and give way to more opportunities for players to lead and play.

imo, I rather only have this as event things. But I have to say that simfphys may need some tweaking because some server do cause script errors sometimes and do lag. if i have to say, only things that can have a fair advantage is Taliban getting their own tanks as well or getting fuck tons of IEDs

+1 I feel that having text screen modifiers in general would be an overall cool experience, not to mention fonts alone. But I also feel that having certain color or visibility properties would be cool as well. For instance, I saw on a few other servers that you can make the text screen flash or flicker or change colors like RGB.

@Big_Ern_YT told me this server was good so I joined up. Found a small sense of community and now I'm stuck here unable to find joy in other dark rp servers

I was there when you got banned homie. In this guys defense, everyone on that night was killing each other. A 2 week ban seems a little harsh for doing what all of us were doing that night. An NITRP charge doesn't seem fair to some guy just having fun. Maybe we can get this down to 3 days or something?

I was looking for a good MRP server and I saw Garnet gaming it seemed good with 100 Pop back in the day or more 2ndLt Jasmin Trained me and got me to PV2 in marines. so let me take you back to 2016 where Marines were still a thing on MRP Cody Drax was the general at the time and Fetn was a WO at the time who took me under his wing trained me the ways of the server and gave me hope one day Id make it to where he was and I did I worked all the way up to CW3 then left to Join rangers after Rangers I went RU and the rest is history

Hello, besides the fact you admitted to it and showed your own video I have some things to share as well. First the video which shows the building sign there and you entering (my pc froze a lot so the rest of the clip is a lot of buffering) however you can still be seen entering and opening fire in the building. Next we have logs of adverts. The kills (you only killed once which is why part of your ban was 'attempted'). And the big boy damage. All in all I would say this is more than enough you admitted to it in your post and on top of that appeals are not for apologies, you received one week instead of two as you claimed to have not seen it let this be a learning experience.

Started Early 2017 I was kinda bored looking for new Gamemodes to play on my old shit pc. Saw MilitaryRP and ended up clicking Garnet. I'm pretty sure at the time Navy and Marines were only for Tryouts and joined the Marines through that tryouts, my PC ended up being more shit so i couldn't join anymore until i fixed it in late 2017. Just mained Base Army until I resigned at CPT then came back Early 2019 as a 2LT. Then after that hanged out with the old GB then joined GB because they pressured me into it. We all left Mid 2019 but then I came back now again.

Hello Bikachu, if this were to get added to the server, Think of what could be added to the other side like Tali? And provide steam add-ons that we could be put into the server! But otherwise I like the idea. Maybe some tweaks could be like it can't be used in war or something. Cause Cavalry is a great RP tool!

Alllll the way back in 2016 I boughjt Garry’s Mod as one of my first games on steam. I had a (deadass) $250 computer, and I decided I wanted to play gmod MilitaryRP. I got real into Garnet MRP as a kid, racking up over 200 hours, but I genuinely don’t remember a single moment of it. Then I decided to try out MRP again back in 2020 because I remembered I had done it once before, and that’s where the story begins! A couple breaks, and a server genre switch, now I play SWRP and I enjoy it a great load!

I joined because of the no downloads thing in the title, stayed because of RelatingCard18

+1 19D have been putting in work for this, we want to bring new content to the server and this would be a great new option
