How do you plan on benefiting our server? [minimum 2 paragraphs] The simple term for roleplay is to act out or perform the part of a person or character. When I joined MilitaryRP back in February of 2022, I quickly realized that this server is combat/skill based and the roleplay portion is quite lackluster. Nowadays, you can't get a good roleplay scenario going without a form of metagame, someone fail roleplaying, or just flat out massing during an event. I want to attempt to give the server some story, make the server interesting when the characters listed below decide to partake in the server that day. I want to keep the players engaged within the server and actually make some fun, action filled events. I am one of the lucky few of the server that had some experience with gamemaster, so I know what a lot of people look for within an event. These are things like combat, stories that gain attention, and rivalries with each side that will make you remember the server and cherish such memories. Also, the lore team is a new addition to the Garnet Gaming MilitaryRP server, I'm here to give all types of leadership, help others that are within the team to improve characters and roleplay, and seek to create an entirely new community with the lore team. I think an opportunity like this can give the new players a lot more to do, and I want to be there to help these new players learn the server. The creativity I possess, the passion I hold for the server, and the enthusiasm I own can make me a top candidate for this form of position. [minimum 1 paragraph] Representative Forrester (Representative of US Department of Defense) Forrester is a defensive agent that goes on weekly runs to improve the defense of the US Army base. This can lead to missions being set, things being tested that can have great effect on the United States base (these effects can either be good or bad). Forrester's main goal is to make the US base as safe as possible but he can run into issues that include Taliban raids, kidnaps, and suicide bombings of the base. Nothing will get in his way of preventing any form of casualties, he does like to get his revenge on the enemy. Forrester is a great character for multiple reasons, can send the 11 Bravo on trainings/missions to work on defense, this can give them a lot of senses and knowledge of how to hold a point and hold peaks like no other. This gives good translations to war and would help a lot of players in the long run. Forrester can also act as a target for the Taliban, seeing that he likes to get his revenge, this means he can get US to raid, and Taliban attempt to strike back by attempting to assissnate the representative. In your own words, create a character that you would play as on your enemy faction. [minimum 1 paragraph] Qari Ahmadulla (Minister of Security (Intelligence)) Qari Ahmadulla is the minister for intelligence security for the Taliban. This means that he does active in-person checks on base, visits when the Taliban are in trouble, and catches any form of detected espionage inside the base. Qari will be an active member that also forms espionage missions, gains details for prisoners of war, and talks with higher ups on a weekly basis. But, there is an issue, Qari Ahmadulla was supposedly killed in 2001 by the United States Army after a drone strike was executed. This means that the US Army wants him dead and will do whatever they can to achieve that goal. Qari has been ran several times personally back on Echo, this was when I was GM. Qari was in a lot of events that needs a leadership role to partake in the event. I already have a set of events that can be ran through this type of character such as chemical warfare, diseased soldiers, and action filled kidnaps that Taliban strive to defend. Lots of lore has already been placed with this character and I already see it being able to branch out and further develop!

[minimum 2 paragraphs] I have a lot of experience on this server along with several other RP servers such as police,darkrp, and other military servers. On Gmod as a whole, I have over 3,000 hours and know the game inside and out. Along with this, I think the last time I got a warning on any server was during 2020 which was gaming light. I also used to be a WO in the old old Taliban before I just randomly left. I have spent a lot of time on Garnet Servers and truly enjoy them. I would love to be able to help out the server even if it is doing sits along with other staff things such as meetings and suggestions and I spend time staffing instead of participating in war. Along with this, I am good in stressful/difficult situations especially ones where someone is needed to stand their ground. I have experience with stressful situations that I will talk about in private with anyone but not openly post. on the internet. I have been active since I came back to this server after years, which was about a month ago, I have been on almost every day and plan to continue like that unless I go on trips this summer. I plan to continue to play and continue to play like this even after summer. I also believe that I would be a good fit as I am a very easygoing person and friendly and I try to maintain good relations. Moving on, I believe I would add a nice mix to the staff and I am mainly active early in the day/morning and from night to late at night, during this period there are not a lot of active members of staff and sometimes it is needed. I believe that being active during this time is a huge plus as it would make the server safer, from mass and other violations of the MOTD. Along with this, I am a very eager-to-learn person and I feel like learning more about this server and how it works will benefit me along with the server as I am very open to learning new things. I also feel as if this would bring me closer to other players and it would also bring me closer to the community. I know that I could help bring a friendly light to the staff team. I am relatively new after coming back to this server and it only being around a month I have already climbed to BMI in the Taliban Army. Lastly, I think I could bring more leadership into the staff team as something I currently love doing as a BMI is war-leading. Have you ever been banned or punished on GG MRP? If so, Include details Yes, 2-week band for MRDM this was very long ago in I believe around 2017 I was very new to the server I think a PFC for the US and it was like my second war I did not know I couldn't go inside their base at the time and just kill them inside. In response to this from my side. I never told Chevy he could KOS people on the roof since it's not "in a building". He asked me if he could have the base start from the roof instead of the door near the street.

Suggestion : Add a scope to the M1 Carbine rifle (Barska, Short Dot & Acog) Reasoning : It is honestly appalling how long 055th has had a unusable DMR for the longest, and it is probably time to show this gun some love. Being the only ranged option 055th has, the rifle is honestly deserving of different scopes to use. It is objectively one of the worst possible guns you can use in the entire game, and it is the only ranged option an F2P 055th soldier has. I am working on a massive DMR overhaul that I am testing out, but in the meantime just please give them a scope. If there are issues with coding the M1 Carbine to have a scope, just give 055th the De Lisle Carbine that deals 75 damage and has good firerate.

Well the time has come, DarkRP for me is something that I can only take in short spurts, And I feel really good about the stint that I had this time around. Recently I have been grinding a lot Counter Strike and Hardcore Classic Wow and it has been occupying my little free time, I don't think its fair I maintain on the staff team when I don't have the time commitment to contribute. What is great about the Garnet Community is the fact that after a 2 year break I can come on to see some of the same people. I will hop on occasionally im sure but my days of farming are over for now at least ;). Want to just thank a few people. @ajbedhead- Absolutely love you man, you have one of the kindest souls out there. @tdizz- One of the people I met on my first stint of Garnet 2 years back, loved all the times basing and chatting over discord, as well as our basic psychoanalysis @Oyasumi- Another OG, didn't hang out as much this time around but loved chatting when we did and hanging around. Also fuck your coordinates and that's on god @sureak- This man is an actual legend, we will continue to play CS undoubtedly, literally traded me a 300 dollar CS knife for 200 mil in game to gamble it all away in a week, this is something i will tell my grandkids about. @Torq- I absolutely loved talking and basing with you, and we definitely need to continue talking and gaming outside of garnet. @ChrisRid- Not sure if you still check forums but you are one of the few people I have ever seen that staffed for the good of the server with no ego or anything of the sorts. I would play Eric as an intelligence expert, specialized in gather information from enemy forces through disguises and stakeouts. In an event, Eric would be tasked with gather information on some high-ranking officers in AFG through infiltration, whether that be disguised or by hiding, with a four-man team of SOC members scouting out around the base insuring he isn't caught, while communicating with their radio systems. There could be many outcomes obviously with different situations, if Eric is caught on his way out of the base, while he is in the base, or even if he makes it out with no issues. Maybe he was found out and a tracker was placed on him? There could be many ways to display the story depending on how each person interprets their own role in the event. In your own words, create a character that you would play as on your enemy faction. (I am, and always have been unfamiliar with AFG ranks, so apologies for that.) I would play a higher ranking officer on the AFG side, a diplomat named Abdul Massoud. Abdul would be meeting with a higher-ranking officer or official from the US side in one of the various sections of the map, however it may all go awry when one of two options happens; the US side wipes out the diplomats men or the AFG side wipes out the US with a suicide bombing, killing the diplomat and everyone else in the area. Abdul has been an AFG soldier since he was a young boy, experiencing all there has been to being an AFG soldier. Because of this, he has respect from the other officers in AFG, but the enlisted do not trust him as he tends to be abusive to his subordinates.

+1 Lopock is an avid player and contributor to garnet, not only is he a great leading officer for Taliban be he is also mature and aware of situations. The scout is kinda terrible not gonna lie. It's ironic is has a player cap, since no one uses it. Genuinely a meme gun. It's reliable in every single other way, aside from the scope. Like it could be a monster, but instead it's kinda just used to pretend your playing medal of honor.

+1 I agree as an officer, I tell them not to use it because it's terrible. A scope is needed and we have to resort to other classes or donor weapons just to snipe back. Please consider this!

There can be like a section dedicated for melee weapons, one for throwables like 'nades and nerve gas, one for snipers, Misc equipment like the Climb swep or Raidtools, etc... I think the only issue is that it's possible that there won't be a key within reach to pull up the menu since I think using the scroll wheel or something would be a little annoying to go through, but, less annoying then having to go through 20+ (<--example) weapons for something when you can get to it straight away. I create a gun supply shop in US base to let US be able to test different weapons during peacetime. I would make a gun shop in US base with guns up on the wall displaying them and telling the US that they can rent guns for a price and when they want to return it they can get their money back or if they die then i would make a lottery for US to win the money. 4. I set up a breach and clear area for US to practice breaching and clearing buildings so that they can improve during war. I would get US officers to get their guys/girls to group up and go to a location on the map to try and breach and clear the building of the enemy NPC's that I have spawned in various locations. 5. US has to ambush the AFG base and kidnap/steal an officer to get as much intel out of them as possible. Get US to do a raid and ambush the Taliban from all sides of their base and get 1-3 people to go and steal intel on Tali to be able to use that information against Tali during kidnaps and other rp scene's. A big game of hide and seek using different parts of the map to hide in, and or a big game of tag where the seeker gets a knife and when they find someone the seeker must kill them and then that person joins the seeker team to find the rest of the players. 3. A game of Sharks and Minnows, Bumper cars, "Simon" Says, and a bunch more simple fun games that people have loved in the past. I would just make an arean to host a bunch of cool events to be able to host the events in and take players idea's to make even more cool events.

Class Rework We have been running the same classes for too long. It's time to bring in a fresh breath into war. These changes will add something to almost every class. The biggest change you will see is nades. Its odd that we don't have more classes with grenades. Having a plethora of grenades to choose from will allow for more strategic play. Reasoning for speed boost, Our current map is really small but in the future is will be encourage flank play. Snipers should be constantly on the move being unpredictable and more cqc style classes give an edge for advancing more complex positions Classes that are tanky will encourage people to hold point. The speed penalty wont be a huge factor when your sitting on point holding an angle and the armor allows you to take more of a punishment before being forced to rotate or killed. He then opens his fading door to get me out I made a report for ATT RDM and Failbase for trying to kill me outside of his base and failbase for having that outside and attempting to kill me. I made a report and Hydra claims it, I send Hydra the video of the interacting and Chevy proceeds to say Chickn and Burg (the Lead Admin) gave him permisson to have the outside base and to call it a KOS zone. I was confused because Proggy made a forum post about all the bases you CAN have a build outside your base and consider it a KOS zone and didn't see his base there. I didn't know Chickn and Burg could go over Proggy that hints me making this forum report.
