We should add a system that tells players when they are being raided. Currently when your keypad is cracked using the deployable keypad cracker, you get a message in chat that says "[SECURITY] ONE OF YOUR KEYPADS IS BEING CRACKED!" I think this message should be displayed whenever your keypad is cracked, regardless of whats being used to crack it. I think this will give players less of a reason to camp in their base. I think if players didn't feel obligated have an eye on their keypads at all times, they would be more willing to leave their base and interact with others. I think this could really help grow server pop, since the server will be more active and social. edit: Just wanted to add on that this could help make raiding more balanced. If more players aren’t in their bases while being raided, they would have to come back and have a fair gunfight considering they wouldn’t have a peak. They couldn’t go back into their base with a quick-door since that would be FDA, so they would be forced into a fair gunfight. This could help raiding become easier. https://imgur.com/HuhzmRC

Description: I suggest making an exhaustive list of laws that are acceptable for the Mayor to make, or at least all that you can think of as to not suppress creativity. (partly making this because I have run out of ideas) Reasoning: My creativity has been stifled as Mayor by staff telling me my laws are minge (some were), or that they don't show in logs so I can't make them. Even laws that are RP based where the police must interact with the citizens to find out if they are breaking the law and citizens can make up a story of their own allowing an easy way to avoid being arrested. This clarification will allow an easy reference for staff and players to know if a law is unacceptable.

+1 I like this idea, it makes sense for it to work across the board for both standard and deployable keypad-crackers. However with that said, I do take on board the reasons why-not. Being sneaky is a legitimate play-style and arguably a fun and exciting way of raiding, so what if something was added to help raiders counteract the security system, in order to be sneaky and avoid setting it off in both cases? For example: Level based chance of disarming the alarm - the higher the raiders level, the greater the chance of 'disarming the alarm' (preventing it from displaying the alert in chat) A 'balaclava perk' available from vending machines which either ensures or gives a greater chance of 'disarming the alarm' A minigame that appears when keypad-craking, a bit like when you lock-pick in fallout, or when you code-break in Cyberpunk - if completed fast enough it won't sound the alarm

As a certified bad mayor, my tip is: if a player can avoid it and it doesn't restrict class choice, it is fine examples (good): weapons/rt aos|ld vapes/poop/boots aos lottery wins AOS Examples (bad): rooftops aos <class> aos selling weapons aos hobos must be below ground adverts aos gravgun aos if a player can avoid breaking the law without undue hardship (for instance, for my grey area lotto law, my argument was entering the lottery is nonessential and completely voluntary) it is fine. if it impedes movement or basic gameplay, it is illegal you will meet some mods who try and tell you that laws are minge when they're not, but as long as you keep the above principles in mind you can succesfully argue for a wide variety of laws the other key is they cannot be too vague for instance, you might be able to get away with "calling mayor's wife ugly AOS", but "disrespecting PD" is not allowed. it is because in the first example it is very clear what you have to avoid whereas with the second pd can use basically anything you say or do to arrest you In conclusion, here are my awful (but all confirmed legal) laws Weapons/RT AOS|LD Boots/vapes/poop AOS|LD 911 CALLS AOS|LD Lotto wins AOS Crime in/near PD=lockdown forgot to add the reason why there is not a "disallowed" list is to allow for new situations if we had a disallowed list and someone came up with a uniquely and clearly mingey law, they'd argue that it was by default it is allowed bc it isn't listed

While I know I won't get a full appeal, I am hoping to have this rules as Unintentional MassRDM as opposed to normal MassRDM, seeing as this was a genuine accident.

I do agree with what you are saying, and honestly don't think I should have been given the co owner role on that server I was only given it due to the owner being my friend in real life although I did try my best to do anything I cloud to help I think I would of been more suited for a manager or just admin role at the time but I wasn't going to complain lol I would definitely need a refresher on everything due to it being a long time ago.

Neutral You've made a fantastic application and I think you've given some great reasons for wanting to help the staff team, your ability to self-reflect is ideal, as is your emphasis on ensuring that the staff team works together, these things are so important. You have an enormous amount of hours on the server, and from what I have seen you're a decent guy who likes to have a laugh and put a lot of energy into everything you do. Your referrals from both Alex and Merk speak for themselves, short of asking Garnet, what more could you ask for? Great news. The reason for being neutral is because while I know you've been a great person from all I have seen in the past, I do question how you've received two non-trivial bans in the last two months? How have you been perfect for thousands of hours and suddenly get these two bans? Under normal circumstances (if I didn't know you) it would be a major cause for concern. Did you get mixed up with the wrong people maybe? It just doesn't seem like you, but without having had the chance to catch up or a full explanation here, I just can't give you a +1 just on that basis, but neither do I want to give a -1 based on my experiences with you in the past. It's a real shame because initially when I saw your application I thought to myself "Easy +1 right there". I do wish you the best of luck but I'm going to stay neutral for now.
