Ok so after much trial and thought ive decided its best for me to resign from staffing. I started Garry's Mod and GarnetGaming during Covid and eventually fell in love with the game and this glorious community. Although I may have never achieved manager, the experience here has made me so comfortable with people management that I actually achieved a manager position IRL!! So of course with my work schedule I don't really have much time to maintain my status as Admin. Ive been staffing for almost 4 years and now, I became leader of SAUCE one of the coolest clans on the server, met so many cool people that I fully intend on keeping up with. THIS IS NOT GOODBYE, GUYS!! I fully intend to get on and check in on my favorite people and maintain my clan. I truly thank you Garnet.. from the bottom of my heart!! As everybody has explained, this is more abusable than anything else. There’s a reason why I’m working on low level jobs, such as city utilities, delivery man, and others. If a new player loses their printers, they can always get money via other methods

Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I prefer hard fought stories with big guns and tanks, I like using Mandalorian and big Jedi battles. Another battle group has crash landed and needs assistance from the 34th, you are to go to this crash sight and fend off the incoming hordes of droid. All vehicles would be allowed. We would have npc troopers as well as maybe one or 2 EC troopers helping defend the crashed venator there will be one EC naval that would have info on why they crashed, they crashed because of a new hacking software that the CIS have developed that disabled their engines and shields so they fell into a nearby planets gravity well. Apart of this mission is seeing how many survivors we can get, if both ECs survive I would become a sniper or have someone else do it, and snipe one of the ECs on their way to the LZ 2. Escort an undercover republic [B-209] droid that has the before mentioned CIS hacking software off of Coruscant. 3. Scottish pirates are invading annaxes, fend them off and stop them from overrunning you with their SCOTTISH WILLPOWER, will probably get an EC to run into battle yelling Scottish patriotism. 4. We've gotten reports of drug smuggling at CIS controlled annaxes go investigate and stop them. they will find and confiscate boxes of drugs and on further inspection they are bioweapons meant to be dispersed to the republic. 5. There has been a disturbance in the force at this lava planet we need to investigate the possibility of a possible DFU as well as droid presence. At least one EC would be necessary to play the DFU.

+1 Written portion is a little lacking, but I do agree with where you said "actions speak louder than any sentence". I've seen you around numerous times in-game, pretty much any time I'm online I see you actively engaging in roleplay with other community members and you also seem to know the rules quite well! - playtime / paragraph's + no warns + read rules (eventually) neutral you paraghpas kind of just say the same thing twice about reliability and while that is a desirable trait if its the only thing you bring to the table. If you were to beef up the paragraphs and exlpain other reasons you would be a good staff member.

NEUTRAL upgrading to neutral as i haven't seen you in game but good on fixing the issue, decent time, good age, no referrals though. Good luck!

-1 While I do see the benefits in theory, unfortunately there's some major issues with implementing a rule like this: How would a raider know the base is owned by a level 10-15 player? Do they have to check the TAB menu for each raid against the door owner? What If a level 10 was basing with a level 20 player? A new unraidable-base meta would emerge where you could just ask a level 10 to own the doors to a base and hey presto, raid-free base! New players would be discouraged to level-up, they could just ask others to collect from the printers and hand over the cash, so they can stay raid-free forever If a new player has never been raided, it's likely they may not have gone through the trial-and-error stage of base design, it only delays this process meaning level 16 is the new, new. We all expect to be somewhat 'bad' the first time we play a game, and so our expectations of success are lower than after we have played for a number of hours, so it could arguably be more frustrating later on As you say, it's more of an unwritten rule where if you know someone is new, you try not to give them a hard time. I think making it a written rule is tricky though and could potentially lead to more issues than it prevents. I think it's possibly better to encourage high-level players to base with new players, so that new players can pick up on the knowledge of veterans while also forming deeper relationships with the community

I’m no longer going to be holding onto something that no longer brings me joy. Yes I did like being on staff but it's been 3 years now where it's difficult to have time to handle more of the workload I'm already doing. It’s time I’m getting my shit together and live my life without worrying about yet another issue with staff coming up. It’s hard trying to do the same thing everyday with no changes really. I've watched staff come and go and still miss some people dearly. I wish the staff team the best of luck and I appreciate a lot of you. I encourage you all to do what makes you happy not because you have to do it. Also my last bit of advice for staff and players alike is to remember to have fun.
