Also, I've added a generic textscreen to the civilian spawn As well as some freebie answers for people who choose to explore the spawn room I will soon have to push out a revision of Delta to include a shorter render distance (combat snipers) so I will also get working on a better PROPER spawn room

Hello Garlic Gamers, We've hit the dreaded "finals" month as well as various states going out of lockdown, making the server population as unpredictable as can be, but I'll try to make the best out of it Server Tickrate 16 > 33 Due to the lower server population, I have shortened the intervals between which players receive input updates from the server. This will in turn provide a MUCH more responsive/accurate feel to players, with far less visual glitches. This bump is massive (more than doubled the previous value) and might bite us in the ass if we spontaneously hit 70+ players, as the server will be rather unstable, however, I think for the time being we should be fine. Will keep an eye on server stability throughout the day, or @AwesomeAidan and @D_Rose could keep me updated if needed to be lowered to 22. NOTE: WE HAVE NEVER HAD OUR TICKRATE THIS HIGH ON THIS SERVER. Dynamic Damage Mod This is a beta patch I've been working on for a LONG time, due to the troublesome damage multipliers of some bodygroups, IE: arm and hand in conjunction with the low tickrate, high playercount (high latency) nature of MilitaryRP, I have decided to "buff" the damage output of players who have been hit in their hands/arms/legs to be nearly as high as the chest and stomach regions. In addition to this, I have made damage outputs vary (this is not based off of angles) for (albeit slight) random deviation to show. Might play around with deviation more at a later time. Current damage outputs: Center of mass (stomach hitbox) - 95-105% damage (100% damage average) Chest - 110-120% damage (115% damage average) Head - 200% damage (200% damage average) Arms - 75% damage (75% damage average) Hands - 70% damage (70% damage average) Legs - 60% damage (60% damage average) - no deviation applied Examples FMG-9 w/ Magnum round attachment Before Stomach hitbox: 21 damage Chest hitbox: 29 damage Head hitbox: 58 damage Arm hitbox: 11 damage Hand Hitbox: 8 damage Leg Hitbox: 8 damage After Stomach hitbox: 27-29 damage Chest hitbox: 32-34 damage Head hitbox: 58 damage Arm hitbox: 22 damage Hand hitbox: 20 damage Leg Hitbox: 17 damage Thank you @vilan and @Duglas for being AFK on the server and getting killed over and over for 3 consecutive hours by me while I test this. Lets see how this plays out before doing any further weapon balancing, it may be a better solution! In addition to this, I have slightly buffed the scaling of fall-damage as to discourage rambo-style gameplay. Jumping off of Embassy to flank somebody may prove to be fatal, taking away 80-90HP Drown Mod Never thought this would be necessary, but anything is possible on Garnet Gaming. I have added a new feature to the server to detect if anybody has been underwater for a duration longer than 10 seconds. Players who are hiding underwater will now receive 20 damage on close intervals once spent longer than 10 seconds underwater. This might find use later when we introduce more Gamemaster features onto the MilitaryRP server. Navy SEAL : Diver (an event class) may receive an extended/unlimited duration underwater. Misc Changes Removed auto-assigning of US Army Support and Russian Forces Support due to players always defaulting to Russia when holding both whitelists. Managers granted permission to use the 'Permanent Prop' tool Managers granted permission to use the 'Textscreen' tool (feel free to add more detail to each faction's respective recruit room, as well as the server's main "civillian" spawn point for new players) if not - i'll just handle it myself after I get some sleep, but that's a bit overdue and I forgot to do it on Delta If you do: PLEASE USE BETTER ENGLISH THAN GILDART USED ie: READ THE WALL. DO /NAME Increased capture point area sizes on both Killhouse and Silo as requsted by @AwesomeAidan Let me know if further tweaking is needed!

Fixed the notification for transmitting an STD Distance check has been made far more strict, you must be nearly grinding (you read that one right) on somebody to begin a rape attempt Cinema Owner Feature removed seeing as months ago Garry's Mod dropped support for HTML5 for those who didn't specifically change out to the chromium revision, which to my best understanding is buggy at best. Spiderman Now has access to all PD doors Spiderman's web swep has been given a significant buff Terminator Now has access to all PD doors Bank Only Bankers can purchase the doors of the bank, and printers may legally be stored in the vault room CPs cannot raid the bank, only raiding roles can. Dueling Duels were made more balanced - joining a duel with perks will simply erase any health/armor/speed buffs as to have an even playing field (please do not suggest I re-assign people their perks following a duel) Chop Chop duels has been fixed - the loadout weapon is now a Karambit Fade Bug Fixes Buttons Button models have been fixed once again Jail System Jail positions now have hard-coded defaults in the event where they were changed.

Our servers Token have expired twice in the last 12 days they've been forcefully implemented, this time affecting our servers for a handful of hours.   14. After ~4 months of @Enigma assisting in running our TTT server at full capacity (35/35) for many hours out of the day, I've finally taken note and grown an interest in expanding upon TTT. Our only server for half a year now was created in a day on one single Minecraft map with no real purpose. Welp, over the last two months I've slowly made progress on integrating Garnet's custom content onto TTT, and the work has finally paid off, as I'm ready to open a PROPER "full-fledged" TTT server, starting with Minecraft Rotations. Minecraft - Rotations Server CONNECTION INFORMATION: 208.103.169.57:27020 Complete D3A integration, re-written classic TTT Detective and Traitor Weapons Heavily optimized performance for FPS/stability Additional security (crash prevention modules) Table of 18 unique Minecraft maps, including B5, Terminal, Haven, and Downtown Might be a struggle to get this going, might end up being a breeze and everything is good to go. Only time will tell!
  15. Been done in the past, we didn't have a big enough player retention to warrant the $200 a month in hosting it, and I could careless for trying to compete with communities that have massive 1m user playerbases. Hunger Games/Battle Royale would allow for quick, fun matches for 20-50 players.

Hello Gangster Gamers, it's come to my attention over the last few years that during the downtime of our servers (MilitaryRP and now StarwarsRP) people tend to tab out, do other tasks, or play other games with larger groups of players from the community. Particularly, alot of Minecraft gameplay. I was wondering if the community would be interested in having a simple little Minecraft server, not anything that I'd like to spend too much time growing, but a simple 100 slot server running the Battle Royale/Hunger Games/UHC plugin, where players are spawned in a larger circle which gets smaller over time until they have to battle it out in a PVP match for a single winner? I'm only making this thread to get a representation of how many people would be interested, because I would want to avoid spending a sum of money on an empty server. Thank you!
  17. Just a quick update: if we really feel as though we're in need of another faction for US, I would be more than happy to introduce Delta Force back, I would just like to use AFSOC for very specific tasks once SWRP is stable and I am able to work on the MRP event server.
  18. @AwesomeAidan I never gave anybody permission to do anything with AFSOC, please take back whatever change has been made without consulting with me. AFSOC never was supposed to be a faction to casually play on in our main server.

  20. I might be a bit quiet for the next few days 😕 had my family take Yuki to go through spinal surgery because she's been hyperventilating in pain for 3-4 days now, and cannot use he back legs. Please be mindful of the fact and do not fuck with me in any way, I'm trying to do my best to keep up with things on the forums. She's in surgery right now.

      thank you everyone. She made it through the surgery but we can't have her back for another night or two 😕 won't know if the surgery did anything to improve her condition for about another week or longer from my understanding, but i'm hoping for the best.

  21. Man, i'm really not trying to be toxic or make fun of you, but normally people wouldn't post resignations OUT OF A FACTION. Out of the server when they quit, sure.
  22. All all these wonderful features are unfortunately FPS-hogs and cause horrible client lag, which I am very much against. The use of ships is pretty minimal outside of events, and the current ones are not bad by any means (in my opinion) PS this pack also requires 10+ individual downloads instead of 1 singular pack and takes up ALOT more space.

  25. After sleeping on it for a weekend, i'm happy to say I would like to move forward with you as our Rust division's leader/manager.
