  1. I was a large advocate for this change during the staff meeting and I listed a lot of fair points, I'm going to elaborate on how this could help the server for those who are voting still. +1 1. Team Balance The entire time the server has been up a good majority of the time we all understand that statistically players were more likely to choose the US side to start off with, even after multiple changes forcing players to choose Taliban by spawning them as a recruit, the US continues to generally be the more chosen favorite. This ROE change allows two entirely different and completely unique playstyles within the server and allows actual choice between the side you want to play. My opinion on why people chose the US over Taliban is purely bias; the average player will spawn into Garnet and be met with the choice of US or Taliban, with no actual difference in how each side is played players automatically choose the US because "Well I'm american" and it's generally seen as the worlds "super power". This results in the US inevitably outweighing the Taliban side, however, with the introduction of this ROE that changes the decisions given to players. The sides presented to you each have a different playstyle during peacetime and will also adopt a much different genre of roleplay as well as different roleplay situations. The choices presented to each player will be weighed out and chosen based on how they want to spend their time on the server. If the player wants a more controlled roleplay experience, they'll join US where things are calm and orderly as well as outside the base fireteams and actual patrols will be required to ensure there aren't camping taliban outside the base or in general areas of interest. If the players were to want a more chaotic roleplay experience, or not roleplay at all and just enjoy the military vibe, players can choose Taliban and adopt a much different playstyle than the US, the players on the Taliban will be chaotic, have no rules, and generally have much different experience than a calm and orderly unit. The players in the taliban can gather in groups of PVT's even, and go kill some US to enjoy themselves. 2. Peacetime / Fun The entire time I've been on this server which spans back to early 2019, there has never really been any form of entertainment offered outside war. The only entertainment you could really gather during peacetime was sitting around teamspeak shooting the shit with your buddies/unit members, roleplay with the officers/enlisted that actually want to roleplay, or attend any form of event which usually ends up either being a tryout or a simulation. With the addition of this ROE, the US will have to actually train themselves and work in squads outside base. The random privates that want to go "patrol" will actually be granted a reason to patrol. If you think about it, there could also be roleplay involved where two officers from each side set up an area they fight over and essentially have a controlled warzone outside of war. The taliban will be able to have fun by sitting in points of interest and messing with the US that they see. The US get an actual military experience that's more realistic and makes them feel like they're actually in a theater of war making them feel anxious and have to constantly watch their backs for the cheeky Taliban sniper that's following their unit. 3. Member Retention Boost The whole server splits very roughly into 2-3 categories of players. Roleplayers (Players who don't enjoy PVP, and like the realistic roleplay aspect Fighters (Players who play just for the pvp aspect) And then the Other aka, the people who enjoy pvp and roleplay, the cool people. For quite some time a lot of players on the server will leave the game just to come back and fight war, with this new ROE this gives all 3 categories the option to enjoy themselves during peacetime in the respectful areas they wish. The fighters can join the taliban to just shoot whoever they want, or join US to enjoy the US side while still shooting armed talis. The roleplayers will be able to enjoy 2 different aspects of military roleplay, the guerilla military RP, and strict/semi-strict military RP. Then the cool kids just get more enjoyment in both aspects. This ROE will help the players actually want to stay on the server and have less reasons to get off because they're bored or just wanted to fight. 4. Member Influx Boost We all know how the usual new member goes, either A) They stay and become a member of the server, or B) they minge around in the training and either minge heavily or immediately mass. This new ROE being introduced will give the players within the B category a reason to stay on the server. Not a lot of players actually like the military roleplay but may enjoy the side Taliban has to offer, or maybe it'll just give the Mass RDMers a reason to wanna stay on the server, or at a long enough stay to actually see the server and enjoy themselves. The players that join with the intention of being chaotic can go to the taliban and minge since it'll be a much more chaotic and loose RP side. These players may also be much more willing to stay if they know they're allowed to just go and shoot Americans out of base and possibly even be more willing to follow rules regarding when and where the mass rdm is acceptable and when it isn't. If they still don't, well; we have staff to handle the mass rdmers. sorry for my rant, I just wanted to input my side
  2. Denied After reviewing the evidence and speaking with the staff involved, your warn will be staying. It is your responsibility to ensure you're following rules. You intentionally sat outside spawn with the intent to kill Taliban the second they leave. The evidence clearly shows that you had ample time to realize that he was inside spawn, as well as the fact that you needed to swing into the doorway to get the kill. @Jake Lock and move please!
  3. +1 I think this suggestion is cool, I can't wait to play minecraft in war so I can heal
  4. +1 This is a great suggestion and I am undoubting in its assistance in recognizing who is and isn't a teammate during war.
  5. +1 313 had a gun change because their gun was essentially un-usable, so is the UMP. Delta Force is one of, if not the hardest to enter faction currently on the server and with the UMP as it's reward? Might as well just goto Rangers, 313, 055 or GB for the guns they provide as all 4 have guns are great weapons if used in war well. (TSFU have a shit gun as well and I'm surprised they haven't made a post for a change yet either, that gun is un-usable and that was before tickrate change)
  6. +1 This change was the result of my suggestion to add AOE team damage to the server to combat the unrealistic and retarded usage of explosives and AOE's such as nerve gas. The suggestion only entailed adding again, AOE damage; not all damage.
  7. -1 I'm not one to talk, but I havn't really seen you on the server and you JUST came back to the server, I'd say give it a bit and then make an application.
  8. I must've started playing back after it got removed, but I do agree this sounds bomb so +1
  9. I usually give my reasonings but after seeing your post and the DarkRp managers explanations to the fact that you were demoted, retrained, constantly giving improper bans, etc. I don't feel comfortable trusting you as staff especially Gamemaster as it's essentially an instant T.Admin. -1
  10. Hey Irly, I'm glad to see you here! Good luck on your application. + Irly is a great guy, always supportive and a really caring guy. I love being around him and he is one of the least problematic players on the server, more people need to be like this guy + Referral from Wyatt (Great staff member) = Not much hours, but not low enough to be a - = Your paragraphs are long but also fairly copy paste, you list very basic things anyone can offer to the staff team. = Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly sure you were held at Warrant Officer ranks due to not being mature enough for officer, if this is true then idk if staff is the best thing for you. - Has a fair amount of punishments, warned for crouch jumping (not that bad) rdm, jailed for 15 minutes and kicked for reaching 3 warns. I'm going to personally say that I wish you good luck on your application, I'm going to give you a +1 but I need to see change or I'll revoke this, Wyatts referral carried a lot and if he trusts you then I trust you. Take my ='s and -'s into consideration and work on yourself to be a better staff member if you get accepted. The short time I've seen you I've seen improvement which is part of the reason why I'm giving you a +1, good luck.
  11. I like this idea but doing a wipe for money would piss off a lot of people, some players like Crypt have been working up their money since long time ago and this would give them a reason to use the money.

    Radios

There is currently already 2 ways of doing this, #1 you can set a frequency and use the radio command. or you can do /squad and use /p to chat in squad chat. I hope this helps! But I'm going to -1 due to being un-necessary since we already have this.
  13. Description: Intel raids have been an issue for a while now, with constant rules being broken including metagame, failrp, etc; has overall ruined the appeal of Intel raids. I came up with a suggestion with the help of a few staff I will credit below since I didn't think of this entirely on my own. Inside every bunk and ever jail there should be a little screen somewhat like the simulation thing on the communications props for intel, once you open this if you are on the opposing side you can claim the area and the bunk will turn into an objective like the war objectives. The enemy forces currently inside the bunk will slowly push up the % going up by 2% every 15 seconds with an addition of another 2% until a maximum of 5 people leading to 10% maximum every 15 seconds. Now, where does the usage of the Power Core come into play? Well the Power Core was something fun to care about at the start of the new omega map but it soon lost its worth, so I came up with an idea that can give the power core not only a use on the server but actual value. When the new map comes there should be a generator linked to each of the communications, if your side (US or Tali) currently has the powercore placed into the generator then whenever an intel raid has reached 75% it has a random chance to enable an alarm between 75-100 but is guaranteed to trip. This then sends out a message that there is an intel breach in one of the bunks so that the US/Tali side can then check each bunk to figure out which bunk is being cracked. If the powercore isn't in the generator then the alarm has a 5% chance to trip once the intel has reached 100%. Reasoning: We all know intel raids are annoying, no matter how hard you try to prevent it there's always someone that was "patrolling bunks" or decided to check their bunks while jumping around corners with a rifle out. This suggestion will help make the server more enjoyable during peacetime by fixing that and others such as; 1. Give the Powercore a use which will lead to more peacetime RP, and more things to do during peacetime since stealing the powercore is actually a valuable thing now. 2. Give Intel Raids more playability and enjoyability to both sides since it balances out the intel gathering as well as metagame. 3. Allows for more RP possibility during peacetime due to the influx of intel that will be gathered since people will feel more obliged to attempt to get Intel since it will be less annoying than it was previously. 4. Boosts player engagement by a lot more so that players aren't just doing nothing during peacetime, this will add more to do during peacetime. 5. With the introduction of MP it will automatically give them a job to do as we all know random 11B/Tali grab the powercore and run off with it or sell it to the other side. Additional Information: Just a quick thanks to the following who deserve credit since I didn't come up with this alone. Theos; The Alarm idea Velo; Wanting Powercore to be valued Crypt; Giving the idea of MP protecting the Powercore (Other staff assisting with the discussion; Brian, Gabe, Tom, Flak and Kurtle)
  14. I simply critique applications, my decision on them personally goes towards a lot more and the application only takes about 1/6th of the things I take into consideration. He applied with the bare minimum hours, I personally havn't seen him very often let alone know him, I believe he may be good especially with your backing however I've yet to see anything from him Drake, if you're capable of interacting with Taliban and if I see you a bit more I may change my decision.
  15. *Edited his application so I'm editing my answer* This is very well done, good job! I already gave my points and you cleared up my issues so I'm just going to say I'm glad you took what I had into consideration and I'm going to give you a +1
  16. Hey Soap! Good luck on your application and I hope to see you with us, anyways lets go. + Great guy + Very mature and can handle situations well + Has proven himself as both a leader, officer, and staff on the server before hand and performed well + Long time player and has lots of hours + One of the few people that I'd give my referral to since I usually prefer to critique an app + In a different timezone meaning he may be on at a time most of us can't be. + Very active player = Nothing to place here - Nothing to place here I wish you luck, although you probably wont need it! +1
  17. Please add this back Garnet, you listened to 11B.. this is a fire new weapon bar and I personally love it.
  18. Hey Stigz, good luck on your application. Lets get into my rating + Good hours. + 2 Referrals from good staff members (one of which was confirmed). + I see you on a fair amount. + No issues from you and you seem to be doing well as an officer. + No past warns or other punishments. = 15, very young and may be immature at times, I've set to see your maturity range. = Decent paragraphs but they aren't very unique, you say what everyone else has said. - Can't find anything to put here, good job It's going to be a +1 for me, however, I would like to see how you handle yourself maturity wise.
  19. I feel like I agree with this, just because someone is in a Tier 1 doesn't instantly make them non idiotic and there should be both a cooldown and rank requirement, for instance possibly the 2 highest Enlisted and all officers and only 1 disguise is allowed during a peacetime for each Tier 1 side.
  20. I'm going to +1 However, wasn't this already implemented for the entirety of the server? You just need a GM to set your model. I guess this may be a suggestion for a swep which I agree should be given to T1's.
  21. + Mature player + Havn't had any issues with you + You seem to be doing good in Army so far + Great application with lots of effort. + Enjoyable to be around + Good time + Has experience + Has 2 referrals, one of which being a good member Mao = Doesn't interact with Tali very often. You're getting a lot of +1's from US side people so I suggest hanging around in TS, ask to get pulled in and just chill so you're better known. It's a +1 from me though, good luck Dan.
  22. + In his twenties and has proven to be capable of acting like it + Decent playtime + Past Staff = No referrals = Not on the server as much - Paragraphs and application looks very lazily thrown together - I've seen you disappear even while in higher ranks and I'd rather not wish that on the staff team I'm going to give you a +1 but please consider my issues, good luck.
  23. +1 The gun is literally only good on tickrate break and even then you need really good recoil control. The SKS-D is a good gun and I believe it'd be better
  24. Hey, would it be possible to get any form of additions / changes to the AFSOC and AAF classes? We'd like a smoke on the operator and infantry class if possible. We also wanted to see about possibly swapping the G3A3 Adding smokes would add a better RP aspect since we could mark LZ's with smokes as well as other teams if they want us to transport them. We could also use smokes for other things just to boost our abilities
  25. Alright Hxoyn, I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm going to stay unbiased, any dislike for you will not be presented in my answers and I will simply post my -'s based on interactions with you and how it made me view you. But, before we get into it you were previously one of the most toxic, neglectful, and disrespectful players on the server during MARSOC times and I feel like you havn't given yourself enough time to show the server that you've improved. Alright, on to my + and -'s + Paragraphs are fairly good, decent grammar and showing actual effort. = Some people here have claimed to have seen personal growth, however, these are all people you work closely with and may be biased. Others have responded with disagreement meaning you clearly haven't proven to a majority of the server members that you're changed. - Previously banned - 2 Warns - During MARSOC you were incredibly disrespectful - Proved to be neglectful for the rules - - When an officer was ordering you to train you swapped on to MARSOC, this being while I was Lt Col of MARSOC I swapped and ordered you to train so you then swapped on to TSFU to escape your duties as a drill sergeant. I feel like if you're too lazy to train and actively neglect your duties while running from them, I cannot trust you to be active let alone even attempt to do your job as staff correctly. - Havn't given yourself enough time to show improvement on the past 3 issues above - The time you left between MARSOCs removal and your staff application along with you apparent "improvement" gives me the feeling you may be acting, or neglecting how you acting and thinking "oh if I change after MARSOC it'll all be fine" I'm going to give you a -1 but everyone deserves another chance. I advise you take a look at how you acted during MARSOC and acknowledge what you did. Hang around in teamspeak, prove to others that you can be respectful and a good WOC, I suggest not applying for a bit to prove to others that you were not only capable of viewing the responses to this but also acknowledging them and trying to better yourself.
