  2. Pistol: N/A Sub-Machine Gun: N/A Assault Rifle: I'm mostly content with combat on the server. I do think some donator weapons (specifically the AEK), are a bit overpowered. I think reducing the aim spread/bloom in all AR's and replacing them with varying recoil patterns could allow players to find more potential in other weapons. As long as someone spent the time to gain experience with a weapon, it could be viable. Battle Rifle: Similar to AR Designated Marksman Rifle: The time between moving and shot accuracy could be reduced slightly in DMR's and lower damage snipers to even the playing field for newer players. Sniper Rifle: N/A Light Machine Gun: N/A Explosives: N/A Melee/General: (General) Finding a point where most weapons seem to have enough practicality for primary use is a great goal overall.

  4. Biggest thing for me that I don't think has been covered yet is the curbs surrounding every road. They're so high that vehicles aren't able to get over them unless the surrounding ground is raised abnormally. To clarify, I'm talking about the outside of the curb, where someone off-roading would pass over to re-enter the road. Lowering them a bit would help if the task isn't too tedious.
  5. +1 Haven't had any notably negative interactions with BenZ so far (other than a minor faction diss that was likely formed from misinformation), and have seen him involved in the discord and on the server frequently. He is active and a seemingly respected leader on the US side. The event ideas seem like solid events but could use a little elaboration. Overall, a very well rounded application and I see no reason not to give him a shot.

  8. +1 Great guy who genuinely cares about the server and the players on it. Can't think of a single reason he wouldn't do well as staff, especially seeing as he's done great as GM.
  9. +1 The power and quantity of explosives on Afghan donator classes are extremely excessive. The RPG is definitely the worst as far as being overpowered goes. The other donator classes could use a rework as well, but that's a topic for another time/post.

  11. +1 I've seen XL on almost every day. He's been consistently giving IDFA tryouts to further themselves within the faction and become loyal members of the community. His warleading/debriefs focus on teamwork and he rewards people for their efforts. I disagree with those saying that they don't see him active. He tends to be on in the later parts of the day and I feel that others judging his activity due to their respective playtimes is unfair. He's active and has good intentions. Application parameters aside, its a heavy +1 from me. Edit : I've seen Zed on the server (obviously) but have never seen any of the other commenters on in my 1,000 hours... I understand they may have differing names from server to forum but I have no recollection of any of them on the server at any point.
  12. +1 Funk has always been a fun dude to be around and is very respectable in every aspect. He's always available to help with anything at any time and is an all around great guy with a positive influence on the server. Nothing negative to say at all, huge +1 from me.
  13. +1 The only concern for me that could have resulted in me not giving this post a +1 would be activity, and from the past couple of weeks/months its clear that they're back and ready to take responsibility beyond themselves. Of course, activity is something that everyone can improve, including Rust, but I've had no negative interactions with them so far. Seeing as they were staff in the past and the intentions seem genuine, I'm on board. Good luck!
  14. +1 Seems like a great change that could bring new interactions and RP scenarios to the server. With playermodels and weapons already layed out, most of the heavy lifting is already done as well. Very well written and well thought out, would love to see this implemented.

I also feel that I have enough creative ability to form my own organized and enjoyable events for all playing. I am on the server very frequently during low and high population times and think that I can provide fun events for those that are on during high population but especially when server population is low. I tend to be active during obscure hours when little GM/Staff are present. I think this will help with player base retention as more will be motivated to stay online during low population if there is events going on that are enjoyable. This will, in theory, help the general health of the server and likeliness for loyalty in the GG community. Although I do not have previous experience, I am a quick learner and have past familiarity with GMod tools and construction. With proper training and mentors, I feel that I'll make a great GM. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: Provide creative and enjoyable events and missions for various factions. Follow MRP guidelines to create RP scenarios for all to enjoy on the server. Create a more immersive experience in general for those that play. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: As previously stated, I feel that I have more than enough creative ability to form events that create fun and immersive experiences for GG players. I am also part of a faction in game that is very heavily involved in RP and think I have the knowledge necessary to create great events based on previous experience. Please list and explain 3 unique event ideas designed for only your faction to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]: I would like to aid in furthering the RP tryout processes that take place within Vega during the Recon/Medic tryouts. Enhancing the way Vega is able to execute tryouts is one idea I would like to design. This would include creating dupes/constructs that may be used as a temporary medbay during an Medic RP tryout and placing enemy NPC's for the operative to navigate through. The event would start with a medic trainee finding a wounded V operative near a chosen site. I would create a medbay nearby and place enemies on the perimeter, giving the medic a search and rescue RP scenario. I would also like to create an infiltration scenario where Vega members are able to practice/apply their various roles (medic, marksman/recon, commander) in a mission as a team vs NPC's. Allowing my team to build team skills and RP lingo is the basis of this idea. With this idea, I'd like to use GM abilities to provide a single point of entry and multiple obstacles to navigate through with NPC's and unforeseen problems along the way. For starters, I would gather the team near an objective such as shipment and have them use their skills to locate various NPC's that I had placed. I would block off almost all entrances and provide abnormal props as cover for the enemies to hide behind/inside. As the team breaches, they will find a data/comms center that I would place near the center, guarded by enemies. Upon data extraction, more enemies would surround the perimeter and cause exfiltration issues. Finally, I think using GM abilities, I could modify an objective's environment to provide new challenges and introduction to new weaponry such as breaching charges during a breach-and-clear hostage rescue type mission. I would like to form an event idea based on a team of Vega breaching an objective, such as silo. The goal of this event idea is to promote teamwork and resourcefulness with what am I able to give them. Using props and NPC's, I would create a scenario where I would challenge my team's entry to the objective as much as possible within my GM bounds. The event would start with a complete block of all entrances into silo, with enemies guarding the perimeter as well. As the team pushed further in, explosives would need to be used to breach the upper levels of silo. Upon breaching, the team would be met with enemies and a hostage which they will need to take care of before leaving. In general, I'd like to further my faction's ability to create RP scenarios that better their experience in RP situations. Please list and explain 1 unique global event idea designed for the entire server to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]: I think a crucial part of events, that is sometimes missing, is letting the player work with their respective teams and leaders to shape how an event progresses. I want to promote the leadership of those at the heads of each faction and allow them to use my GM abilities as a tool. The basis behind this event stays with creating an environment for each faction to come together as one against a problem that I would create. Promoting teamwork, leadership skills, RP experience, and combat ability is the goal. The outline of the event is as follows : I would like to create a global event that involves the cooperation of US and RU in order to remove a common enemy. In this event, a 3rd party would enter the warzone, stealing weaponry and personnel from each side. Their goal is removing "trespassers" on their land and setting up a new leadership. With the weaponry and knowledge the personnel have, the 3rd party will create a force and weapons of mass destruction seeking to rid RU and US from the land and return it to its previous state, before warfare took over. In order to prevent the antagonistic party from taking over, US and RU will work together in a series of meetings and finally an operation to save their personnel and clear out the common enemy. I would like this event to be heavily driven by the leaders of each faction and to progress based on the RP created by players.
