-1 Don't get me wrong, the paragraphs that you have are amazing and the experience that you have is unlike any other of recent time, but that's the thing you are missing, time. You have just passed the threshold to become a staff member on this server by two hours. Every time I'm on this server, I see you playing in wars, but aside from that, I have had minimal interaction with you aside from the many times you have killed me (being the better player). I would suggest spending more time on the server, not just playing wars, but interacting with more people (US included). Another thing that would add nicely to your resume is becoming an officer or SOC member to have more of a footing in the server. I believe you have amazing potential to go far in this server, so if you have those two factors included the next time you apply, I will 110% give you a +1.

Heyyy, what's upppppp. It's meeeeeee. I posted this idea before in Creative Corner, but I decided that I want more people to see this, so I'm posting it in MRP suggestions now! I hope that this could get more traction and possibly be seen as an event we could put on/everyone would be interested in. If anyone has any modifications or want to see ways to improve this event, just say it For now though, I'll shut up and allow you to read my idea for... The Garnet Gaming MilitaryRP Factions Tournament! The tournament would be made up of the different factions of MilitaryRP. These factions are: Base: US Tali Tier 1: Delta Force Badri 313 Tier 2: Rangers TSFU Tier 3: GB 055th There are three formats that this tournament can be framed: 1) Having the US and Tali doing their own separate tournaments, finding out which is the best faction and then the final two factions duking it out. 2) Each of the tiers battle each other out (Base, Tier 1, 2 and 3) until there is a winner. 3) Literally just do a wheel deciding which factions fight. Now that we discussed how the tournament itself would be formatted, let's talk about the individual games itself: Each of the factions would be allowed to have 5 members involved in this tournament and 2 (possibly 3, 4 or even 5) reserves in the case that one isn't able to make it. It would be in a best of 3 matches. The matches would be held on 3 different maps, which can involve the OBJ's and some other extra areas, such as Village, Swamp and Cargo. Each match would be decided by whichever faction gets to 10 rounds first, equaling a potential 20 rounds in a match. It would be 1v1 simulations that each faction will decide who to put in. In order to make sure it is not dominated by a singular person; each team will require that each person goes two times during the match, no more than five and no singular player can go more than two times in a row. Because of this, there would be an actual strategy to figure out who is the best person for each round. A good way of going through this tournament is to figure out who has gone and who still has turns left. Now that we discussed how all this would be formatted, let's answer the one question that you may be asking: Why? Why host a tournament? The answer can be given in three ways, 1) Because it could be fun lol. The idea of having a tournament every once in a while, could be a fun way to engage the community and allow for factions to have bragging rights in a sense, to see who the best faction is truly. 2) It can also be a fresh new way to get old players back and engage them with the newer community. 3) Because there could be an actual incentive to do this. For example, factions can design their headquarters to give their place a little flair, but that costs ingame money and usually a whole bunch. We can make the tournament a high risk, high reward situation where the faction can gather up some money, put it into a prize pool as a way of entering the tournament and if they win, they can get a massive payout. With all the things that I discussed, now I want to know what yall think! Love it? Hate it? Wanna blacklist me from every faction? Let me know!

For me personally, I haven't had any bad experiences with CnKole over the time he has been an officer under me. He has been constantly looking for new things to improve the wellbeing of 11B and 11A, improving the documents and our website under Devcom. I know that people on the thread have been reporting forms of toxicity from him, but I haven't received or been told anything from anyone about his behavior. I never knew him in the past, so I can't excuse the actions from his earlier days, but I can tell you from the time I spent with him, he always works hard, and I know that he has a good head on his shoulders. Just remember that my opinion is not the most important out of everyone in this thread. And CnKole, if you can take two things from this thread, interact more with the AFG side and interact better with people. Remember, we are all here to make this server better

-1 Bringing back an airborne faction would be a dream come true for a whole lotta players right now, but for me, the cons outweigh the pros. 1. We would need to find a leader who is capable and confident that they will run it to the best of their ability. People usually just say "I'll be the best person for the job" then disappear off the face of the earth and then it gets removed. 2. The skybox issue. Maps have been made/adapted to accommodate helicopters in order for them to exist, but overall, it's too much work just to add a helicopter into the game. We don’t know how helicopters would interact with Echo or the new map that is coming up. 3. The lagging situation. People have complained in the past about the helicopters making their games run at 2 frames per hour. Because of that, people would rather play on a server that they can actually play on, which leads to the final point… 4. The playerbase. Once people figure out the reason as to why their laptops/PCs are lagging, they will do whatever it takes to bring it down. I once saw a person shoot a helicopter on their OWN SIDE because it was lagging their game too much. While I do hope that the airborne faction might become a possibility one day, there are too many things that collide with each other that would make it pretty hard to get it implemented.

I love the way it's looking! I have been hoping to return to more of the older maps because of all the stories I have heard about the past, so to know that you are working so hard on this map makes me so happy. Thanks so much for keeping us updated on the maps progress!
