  1. play stupid games, win stupid prizes. i don't even really reply to MRP bans, but if these other MRP people are saying you have a bad rep, and then you say openly you're going to mass, I'd probably ban you too. maybe you'll think better than to "joke" about mass RDMing people if you know you have a bad reputation with the community. edit: -1 btw, i dont think you should be unbanned.
  2. +1 from me. LFS ships would be nice, as they work a lot better and have a lot more functionality than the current ships. For example, the LAAT can be used as a gunship (one of its roles) with multiple people firing different cannons and even the ball turrets. Of course, it does mean that the LFS stuff will be more to download, but imo I think it's worth it.
  3. Instead of RANCOR I'd rather have just regular ARCs instead of a specific battalion. I think this is a much better system, and could even fit with Garnet's vision of having the ability to donate for ARCs. (However he intends to implement that.) I think it is silly to have 3 commanders and trying to delegate what little there is for each commander. I do feel like me being Blitz its more of a title than anything else. I'd be fine with either Jackal or Bishop being leader because of my work schedule and how funky it's been. But even if we keep RANCOR and move it to this system, I'd be fine with that. We could have the other two commanders just step down to officers, with one commander. Or however the commander sees fit. But yeah, +1 to this suggestion for sure.
  4. I don't think ikt should be against the rules. I can definitely say it is frowned upon by many people. One example being Diego judging BINLADINHOE's staff app and -supporting it because of one of the reasons being that he sometimes baits people. It should just be discouraged (especially if you're an older player to the server) because it really is a shitty thing to do, but I don't think it needs to be against the rules.
  5. Well, I will say before the campfire when Garnet was doing a mini event and we were attacking one of the FOBs, he was micspamming during that. This was before everyone was gathered around that campfire and minging. Not to mention yesterday, even if it was funny, he was in the bunks yesterday training his troops to turn around and go: "Ah, Commander Wolffe, nice cock!" Yes, it was funny. But that wasn't during some sort of minge hour, that was when we were in an event and he was waiting to be deployed from the ship. I can forgive the instance this morning because it was low pop, sure so I'll let that side because that was a minge hour. But the thing he was doing yesterday, it does make him look somewhat immature. I'm gonna +1 but @Redactedduring events when you are waiting, please find something else to do other than being unserious like that. Other than that, I don't really have an issue with him.
  6. Will say this, idk how lore accurate we want to keep things, but DC-17m's were only used by the republic commandos.
  7. Well, this was a job here, sort of. It was a DJ job for donators only, and they could put their radio anywhere. I've heard there was something wrong with the radio addon or something to where it wasn't working, but yeah I'd love to see that job back in some form or another. +1
  8. I mean, the easiest way of avoiding NLR is to just not go near the area of where you died. That's the rule of thumb I go by. I leave the area of where i died and don't return until 3 minutes have passed. It does say you can't return to the scene of your death, which would imply that you can't sit across the street looking at you base, as that is the scene of your death (if you died there). You can spectate your base from afar if you'd like. For example if you're multiple blocks down the road from your base, you can watch if you want, you just can't be close to your base/across the street of your base.
  9. And I'm talking about the 3 other times. There isn't really an exact distance in the rules saying how far away you have to be, but you are still relatively close to the base, as being across the street is not far from your base at all. Doesn't matter if he had a gun out or not, he was across the street which is still pretty close to his base. It's not like he was a few blocks down the road, and then killed. EDIT: Also, you posted yourself metagaming in the first clip. You died, then typed in party chat you were being raided, so I wanna say that as well.
  10. I'll leave this here: "You may kill the owner of the base you are raiding/CP if they are in the raid area." Quoted from the rules. I would consider that being within' the raid area, as that's pretty close. No rule says you can go back and spectate your base being raided. I'm not exactly sure what the distance has to be for it to not be considered breaking NLR. I'm going to -1 unless a higher up staff can clarify what distance is considered not breaking NLR.
  11. Like I said, if Star Wars RP fails for whatever reason, I'll be back. But I really do appreciate you training me. (I didn't know SWRP was even coming out when I applied for staff)
  12. Yo, resigning from DarkRP staff right now as I swapped over to Star Wars RP. I wouldn't have applied if I knew this was happening, but I'm resigning for now as I have a pretty big role on Star Wars RP now. I know it was short, but y'know still would like people to know. @StevieTThanks for training me brudda, you cool, should come hang out maybe on SWRP some time and try it out. @DiegoZavierYou're cool too, you nice Canadian. @TheDudeAbidesWe go way back, and we're cool, I like you too. @JaroldCool dude too, good lucking balancing both B) @ChaseTalked to about this, I appreciate you understanding the situation. Like I said, if things don't work out, I'll be back. @LyndeFishI don't like that you called me not Keanu Reeves Anyways, yeah SWRP gang gang. I hope for all the DarkRP staying on DarkRP all goes well for you, y'all doing a good job so far, so keep it up!
  13. Well that also isn't the only instance. A few days ago when that one player made an appeal for his own diss in a sit (the guy who was having the sound problems with guns) you told him to shut the fuck up during that sit. You may not have been warned for it, but that would've been considered diss in a sit as well. Along with Diego pointing out how you were baiting people (or the 'joke' you supposedly made) I don't see how that would come off as a joke. I have also seen times where you do lose your cool and be a little bit toxic at times which is not a good image for staff. For right now I'm going to have to -1, mainly because I want to see an attitude change and not just snapping so quickly and resort to a negative behavior. I like you, I really do, but I feel you need some sort of attitude change before you're put onto the staff team.
  14. so.... can you play the entire shrek movie for me? id really appreciate that if you did.
  15. Will say this part is in reference to when they became Stormtroopers, not the Republic. This was under the Empire, hence the name of imperial Commando Special Unit. But yes, they were made up of former Republic special operations members. Howver, I have seen Aparh trying to improve his RP skills and give dedication to the server to make it enjoyable for everyone, while keeping that semi-serious nature. I personally haven't seen him in action with leadership rolls, but he does show teamwork skills and abilities to work with squad, which as an in-lore type of thing is a thing that the RC's were very big on. They weren't lonewolfs, in the sense that they only operate alone. They each were a cog wheel apart of a bigger machine in essence which is what I've seen shown from Aparh. He's a teamplayer and he's dedicated to the server from what I can tell. I'll give a +1, and will change my standing if something else happens to come along and change my opinion.
  16. +1 if this is possible. I'm not sure how a schema like the one we're on works, but if it can work definite +1.
  17. Once again, I do take full responsibility for what I have said, and I do apologize for making it seem like I'm undermining you, as once again that wasn't my intention. If my word means anything, I do appreciate all your efforts and what you've been doing so far, I've been having a great deal of fun, especially in the 327th now that we're all starting to take it more seriously. I suppose before that speech yesterday, all of us (including myself) were taking it very unserious. But since then I would like to say we have been improving on our attitude and have been enjoying being on the serious aspect of this server. We've been having tons of fun with the events and I don't want to undermine that about you, I can tell you've been putting in a lot of effort and passion and I really do appreciate that, trust me. So once again, I apologize for anything I said that came off as rude, or condescending.
  18. I apologize if anything I said came off as condescending, as I don't intend for that to be my intention, more as just jokes. If you happen to have any examples, I would definitely like to see them, as once again they're mostly jokes (or I try to make them come off as jokes/something not serious and condescending). I do take full responsibility though and it isn't excuse, but some examples would be very helpful so I know what to say, and what not to say, I appreciate your input though.
  19. Tbf shadow troopers are actually pretty cool in lore.
  20. As much as I like shadow troopers, I'm gonna have to say a no go on this. It really isn't needed, and we haven't even filled up everything on the server yet. This includes ARCs, Commandos, and even the specialized companies of each battalion. There's still a lot of things that need to be filled, so we don't need this at the moment. -1
