Currently we have issues getting base officers on just to do the bare minimum of tryouts/trainings/sims. Like I said previously, the server isn't ready for something like this. Ask Weeb and Ominous regarding their officers. Also for the purposes of this argument, I'll bring in the person who I think best understands what new players care the most about. @Cold Soldier

How we have it now is fine. It's not worth the devtime on something like this. I expect people to be able to read. However, in regards to recruits waiting, I spoke with Ozzy today to put up some textscreens relating to /quiz, so people don't have to wait to play if there's no one available to train.

Denied Lack of community support. Personally, I don't think you're active enough to become staff at this time. The paragraphs are a bit weak as well, but that's not what I primarily look at. Play on the server a bit more, get those hours up, get to know the community more. You may reapply in 2 weeks (11/19) @Ozzy / @Gythem Lock and move please.

Personally, I don't see the /roll working well on MRP. With SWRP and other roll-based servers, like HL2 RP, usually you have a small community that's there to solely roleplay. GG MRP works best with light roleplay elements, and a focus on combat and pvp. GGMRP doesn't function like that, we have a lot of newer players who's sole desire is to click on heads and participate in combat. The style of RP on this server should be up to player actions, not a dice role. Worth mentioning that a lot of players would just spam the hell out of it whether to troll or to do completly mundane things. I get where you're coming from, but I don't think MRP is ready for something like this. -1

Controversy incoming. I like gunplay. Currently working on adjusting weapons and playing around with CW02 configs. The fact that the average player would rather see stupid shit like chess and the much meme'd "Brick", is more in-line with what I want MRP to be, a fun "controlled chaos" server where players have a good time. I dislike the current state of RP. The current RP on the server is somewhat forced, and isn't really player driven. In my opinion, that's the only way RP is going to be successful. I've played D&D for a very long time, and DM's that railroad their campaigns don't usually have campaigns for very long. Give players the tools to do RP, and you might see success. In addition, there's no overarching storyline that gives real weight to the RP events themselves. In short, what's we're doing right now isn't working, and either the GM team needs more tools, or we need to re-evaluate how we're doing RP in general. We had 80+ players easily before the GM system was introduced, and RP isn't going to improve officer quality. tl;dr focus on the players and them having fun I say this as someone who plays on the server every day, and I feel I have a good idea on what your average gmod player wants, feel free to disagree.

Denied I was on the fence about this one, as you did have a decent amount of staff support and referrals. However, your actions during the RU SOC meeting where you kept rejoining the SSO channel even when asked to stop, and being kicked, has led me to deny this app. In short, the maturity issues you said were past you, clearly aren't. The physical application is also lacking, try to expand on specific actions you would take to improve the server and help the staff team. Played a lot of Protoss in Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War. Very exciting, I know.

We had a group going before, but the commitment was awful, so it fell apart after 5-6 sessions. I also feel Homast is probably too busy to DM another game rn. Also differences in playstyle were pretty jarring if I remember correctly.

Uppercase A and I, also your screenshots have your name cropped out. Seems like you were doing exactly what I said you were, giving them machetes and having them kill you so you can give them more. Any reason you decided to kill this US guy then? All in all, you came on to minge, you got banned, and are just trying to cause problems for players who did what they had to do because there were no staff online to deal with it at the time. Just leave.

Sorry for any formatting issue, remoting into my computer on my phone to post these. Zombie also let us know via other channels that he needed staff assistance, and that one of these individuals was giving a machete to recruits. Obviously biased, because Zombie is in my faction, but he wouldn't just gun people down for no reason. Considering the names were various racial slurs, and your name appears to be Adolf, the connotation of which is obvious, you were there simply to troll. I'll leave it up to operators.

RU Meeting 8/28 at 6pm EST in 2GA Officers TS Mandatory for KST+ All active RU players SGT+ allowed to attend. Please ask me if you don't fit these criteria and want to participate. We will be going over some basic expectations and goals for RU. Please let me know if you are KST+ and not able to attend, if you haven't already. I really did like Echo V1, but the framerate was atrocious if I remember correctly. The tunnels were possibly the best part of that map. I'd like to see it come back, but with framerate improvements. However, if the community wants it now, then I'm not opposed to that either.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but there is no Super Admin rank anymore correct? The highest one can go is Manager now. I thought Garnet consolidated the roles.
