  1. While I don't have the classes towelie basically said everything I was going to say. I really do believe anarchist and riot need class changes they are the most under-used and to be honest ass donator classes on the server. I think the concept and idea behind the suggestion is good but you're honestly not going to get as many kills with a harpoon than you are with a knife its almost impossible to tell where that stick is going to land mid-long range especially up against long range automatic weapons. Focus on changing the under-used classes rather than the most-used classes if it's not broke dont fix it. People dont care abt those donator class changes because the class is dogass if it was more used obviously it'd get more attention this suggestion is an example of that. the majority of snipers I see are mostly members on a faction WL anyway. +1 to weapon nerfs -1 to class changes.

There’s nothing stopping players from doing this unless I missed it in your suggestion it’s simple faction leaders start providing incentives to get intel (promotion cooldowns with proof of collection) players start planning early hours to get on and proceed to collect the intel so you’d have to spawn it in at a certain time to balance the chances of collecting the intel Already in the suggestion Actually this is not in the suggestion it is quite the opposite. As stated right here. Props should not have a set spawn a script should be made where the props can spawn in any surface area of the map besides bases or objectives. Already what the plan would be Great! Than I think the percentages and values that’d be changed should be stated in the suggestion to give players a better idea of how this whole system would work. No it wouldn't I believe creating a CUSTOM ADDON that can automatically spawn in helicopters, orbital strikes, explosives, and a completely new custom UI would most def impact server performance unless garnet himself can find a way to optimize it which I would assume he’d have to do considering how much space an addon that can randomize spawn points for dozens of different props on a map at a certain time every day would take up not to add onto the fact that the server would have to automatically detect left over props and remove them. shoot them and wait for it to respawn Lmao, I wish you could say that about basecamping right? The issue I am talking about is a population imbalance and this suggestion can further that. Idk if your talking about shooting players or props but either way the amount of players a side has on completely dominates the way this system is used.

This idea is great but I think a couple of changes are needed to balance it out on both sides just purely because of the population difference I feel like this system could be easily manipulated by the players 1. Props should be spawned in during an average high pop hour of the day and than last until the end of the day. I don’t believe the props should spawn the same time the DEFCON resets Because it can be really easy for small groups of players on US or afghan to get on and use up all the Intel only for them to get the rewards. This also allows the majority of players to benefit in war and not use up the defcon rewards on a war no one is on for. 2. While I think obviously props shouldn’t spawn on objectives i also believe they should spawn randomly around the map outside of those objectives. This keeps veterans from gate keeping locations of prop spawns and allows basefaction and SOC to coordinate missions together in search of intel instead of a repetitive same site spawn that people will run to as soon as they load in. 3. The rate in which xp is gained from collecting the intel should be based on a population system (I.e the less players afghan has the faster they will gather xp from the intel the more players US has the slower they will gather the respective xp.) this once again will allow both sides to have more of a fair chance rather than the 3 Taliban CSC’s running to silo getting camped at gas station with a helicopter. Another thing to take into account is the impact on server performance this custom addon could take up a ton of space and it’s important to consider if the suggestions overall impact would be worth the shot to performance. I believe there are other ways to increase use of intel or passive RP dependent on the impact of this suggestion to the servers performance. TL;DR - If conditions are met +1 if not -1 there’s not enough of a positive impact if the conditions aren’t met to consider implementing this suggestion P.S you’d have to either segregate the props by country in the script or stop the collecting ofnintel after defcon 5 to keep the US or Taliban from collecting all of the intel on the map depending On how slow the xp is gathered if my conditions are met
  4. I was reading this and had that exact idea while there are some problems with reserves I believe the pro’s outweigh the cons. Reserves not only keeps long term players interested but it also allows them in the right circumstances to mentor, help, and better factions. For instance there was a period of time in taliban and 2ga where we were lacking in active officers and people from reserves like soldier would literally get on just to help with tryouts or warleading with no benefits so this is what I propose. Make the rules to obtain reserves more strict. Players imo should only be allowed to apply for reserves when they have met the rank of captain in SOC and Major or LTCOL in base faction this keeps players motivated to continue to support the faction their in instead of tapping out once they get officer. Originally you weren’t allowed reserves for the same side idk what happen to this rule but I think at the very least US forces should not be allowed same side reserves due to afghans low pop. TL DR -1 MAKE CHANGES INSTEAD LISTED ABOVE (to lazy to revise this so sorry for any typos)

    +1 Holy shit dude at no point should executives be micro-managing factions I have seen some of the littlest fucking problems be ran through executives. At one point promotions in army I believe were being ran through fucking smity when the GA was on LOA this is absolutely ridiculous. I dont want to sound like a boomer but back than executives had almost 0 control over factions and they didnt want to and this was when the server was hitting consistent over 100 pop. You see situations like taliban base faction where you have officers working their ass off in the ranks just to have executives pull rank and place not just a faction leader but a second in command in a position when there was already 2 previous generals and like 2 senior officers fully capable of dealing with the day to day. Its overprotective, restrictive, and unnecessary. However, there have been multiple cases where executives have made the right decisions there were certain previous friend group factions and all out bias occuring on certain corners of the server that management dealt with properly but I think there has been multiple cases where executives have over-stepped and whilst currently its not that huge of an issue I can see it starting to get blast out of proportions this isnt a suggestion you can just add into the server box people have to acknowledge what is right and what is wrong and truly see how it could benefit the server and I really hope theres some changes soon.

This has already been stated as an invalid -1 reason if his playtime requirements are met and is fairly well known amongst others The thing that made this applicant stand out amongst others with me is that he specifically went over his paragraphs and application briefly went over it in teamspeak with me whilst discussing another applicants build he clearly has met paragraph requirements and is in a SOC faction how could T.MOD hurt. +1
  8. -1 (Leaning towards neutral due to application changes) While, benz you do have the past officer and GM experience that experience was quite some time ago and somewhat shortlived on the GM end of things. Coming into your new term currently you haven't fully adapted to the current social environment and their players. This is extremely important for game masters. Simply understanding the players concepts of well put together events will allow you to make the most out of the tools given to you. Also "Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]" This section has 4 sentences so you might want to beef that part up.
  9. +1 Re-Addition of Taliban explosives are more likely to keep new players who dont have money for guns in the faction SOC Reworks bring appeal to the factions funneling more players through taliban to join them Maybe, in the future we can suggestion overall changes for certain SOC factions like maybe switching around some SOC factions to Al-Q, BLKGRD, Haqqani.

I dont think the doc changing process would be too difficult adding/changing jobs to console is easier than doc changes but I'm more worried about the appeal your bringing to U.S. While, yes the U.S will always outnumber Taliban the Taliban are still capable of reaching high pop the problem currently is the lack of recruitment and an active officer corps. With this suggestion you're brining a ton of appeal to the U.S. At the start of this suggestion you said that Crypt told you someone left 313 for Red Group due to models. Well, here it's the same concept; important Taliban members leaving to U.S because of their new models or appeal which based off this content is pretty sick. I understand you want to positively impact the server but alot of time that's done behind close doors. Yes, you are changing 313 to ISI and there's some appeal there but that's not where Taliban gets the majority of its numbers from. Maybe find a way to positively impact and reinforce Taliban's prescense on the server pulling in more players from the US. Do this before making a suggest to appeal to US players. -1
  11. -1, while ziggy or bishop definitely has the capabilities of becoming even a member of management and more past experience than 90% of the staff team. Recently, it has been shown that he is prone to leave out of the blue for instance when he was most recently with MRP he made the suggestion to switch to taliban but than left abruptly right after (which also slightly impaired the GM team) and than there’s SWRP where after a while his activity Dwindled. While I’m not saying he couldn’t be active I don’t think he’s put in enough time during this term to prove he’ll be an active and dedicated member on the staff team.
  12. Those are the actual maps not the skyboxes but I could see the suggestion being reasonable for seasonal changes such as Christmas, Halloween, or Easter but yk no need otherwise really ain’t a HaloRP server

I usually never go neutral but there seems to be a good amount of people who are -1'ing on the basis of like bad experiences with you but at the same time your GA says you are mature and have presented yourself. If TooTooT (GA & a L.MOD) can however really vouch for you, respond, and say you are not entirely toxic I will change it to a +1 because I can trust his opinion. Also, I dont think making blatant claims without proof on a staff app is a good idea it just makes him look bad and may not be true. Hope TooT responds. Also I suggest fixing up your app ASAP and adding way more to it aswell as fixing up some grammatical errors.
  16. Any nerf on the AK-74 would probably put it below the US's M16. If the AK-103 is OP i have no clue what the Scar-H or AK-74 is. This probably shouldve been taken into account when all the weapons were changed Im simply pointing out why it makes no sense to have the stats lower than the AK74. Seems like a decision was already made but I'd like to point out the Aim Accuracy, and Spread is the same for both classes. if the AK-74 is nerfed than im sure other US base weapons will have to be nerfed just to meet the same degree of usefulness. Thanks for the consideration! (Also, wish we couldve got a weee bit more time to get more feedback before a decision was made but thats A-Okay)
  17. The insurgent class is one of the more rare classes used in 055. And if you actually take a deeper look at the stats the AK-103 has nothing better than the AK74 besides the 1 point damage difference. You may find yourself dying more to the AK-103 because the user of the class is more skilled than a PVT . There are actually 4 Things the AK-74 is better than the AK-103 and all the other categories are fairly the same. Firerate, Mobility, Handling, And effective range. and the only other category the AK-103 has over the AK74 is like I said a 1 damage difference. Not aim accuracy, not spread, not recoil, and any of the other categories. (Making all of the other long range opticals the AK-103 has a little useless) (As you can see below the AK-74 has the ability to turn into a literal 37 damage SMG whilst also increasing your speed by a shit ton)
  18. Description: Currently, as it stands the AK-74 is a better weapon than 055's AK-103. Stat wise the AK74 has 30 more points in terms of firerate and a 10% hire handling rate (90 < 100) You may say that the AK-103 somehow makes up for the huge loses for the 1 Damage difference ( 42 > 41 ). However, in the long run this is irrelevant because the damage per second that the AK-74 produces is 11 more damage points than the AK-103 and as vet's know that can be a game changer when it comes down to a 1 on 1. I dont know how this went unchecked during the weapon buff but it is clear that a base faction weapon is better than a SOC faction weapon by a mile. (Not to mention the effective range is even higher on the AK-74 which shouldnt really be true with a weapon that has a lower fire rate. Reasoning: In regards to US's Scar H and Base faction weapon's the fire-rate is still lower whilst only making up for it with a 1 or 2 point damage difference. I believe SOC faction weapons should still be somewhat better and atleast on the same level as base faction weapons but as it stands the AK-103 is still much weaker than the AK-74

  21. Everything in this update is great I love the re-addition of the totems and getting those 055 classes on the radio is greatly appreciated. But, something thats come up recently and there seems to be alot of vague reasoning behind it provided on behalf of management is the addition of afghans MP. There multiple arguments one could use to not add it such as maybe the "Pop" or the lack of interest. I believe after talking with people on the afghan side and even US and getting their opinion on the situation Afghanistan MP Classes should be added wars are fairly won 50/50 nowadays with the recovery of most of afghans soc units and base taliban is improving its officer core every day. Taliban are missing out on a interesting part of RP that they once used to have and I believe that ANP actually functioned better than US's MP when it comes to abuse of powers and leadership capabilities (Take Upland for example one of the best leaders the server has spit out). There are really no downsides with the addition of an AFG MP the most your gonna get is two classes not being used on AFG side but if a competent leader is put in place I am sure it will be as active as US's MP. I've attempted to talk to smity about the addition but got shut down with one of the excuses listed above. I think all of afghan would really love to see how much of an important role AFG MP can take if given the right base of leadership. Just something to consider and once again we all greatly appreciate the dedication you've put forth for the server.

    ROE Addendum

    I thought one of the rules with the addition of the ROE is that quick-swapping is not allowed. Thats the only reason I +1'd the addition of the ROE when I was GM. This, doesnt really make sense the only freedom they'd be losing is the freedom of pulling a weapon to instantly get mowed down by any US in the area. The ROE pushes for a more realistic agenda and its really easy for taliban to abuse the ROE unless there are specific rules in place limiting their ability to abuse the ROE. +1 on the ROE rule change. Taliban should not be in visible view when pulling a weapon or it should be considered quickswapping.
  23. +1. Personally, speaking while I have been apart of 055th Towelie has been an exceptional communicator and leader. He has shown to me that he is very dedicated to the server and faction. Some may say there may have been a couple incidents in the past but we all know where I stand when it comes to the past. He has improved his attitude and would be a perfectly capable member of the GM team with some training. What is most impressive is the amount of detail you put into these events the amount of small things you add here and there from giving the virus a name to the amount of thinking outside of the box you did when it came to event planning made me very satisifed with your application and displayed the kind of dedication you are willing to put into the GM Team. I dont think an application has really made me want to have an important role in the events listed but I enjoy the amount of detail you have here. Very good job.
  24. Glad to see garnet's opening up some more servers. Must mean dark rp has been popping off recently. Im hoping that this server can come out with a strong administration team to prevent numbers from dropping like last time. Appreciate the dedication as always.
