Well said I think a serious re-evaluation as you said of not only possible staff team members but people who play a pivotal role in certain RP Positions must be looked at. Taliban is currently dead as hell and is lacking in fresh officers and 11B/A was just completely torn apart by an inactive GA. These two factions are both what keeps the flow of new players into SOC and if somethings aren't changed soon SOC regiments will start to dry-out.

Seem's like these issues still haven't gotten any better despite a long discussion in the discord with a couple members of the executive team a while back stating that we should host server wide meetings and country wide meetings. Hopefully, shit picks back up soon and people can start to recognize the issues and make adjustments to fix them if not I fear for the future of the server. Staff Executives need to start discussing plans with faction leaders inorder to boost the playerbase of the server and I already know a couple issues that could be addressed and/or fixed. Thank you for your continued dedication even to a server that may not appreciate it sometimes.

The whole second paragraph of the event ideas portion is an RP Related event which seems pretty dope. 1+ As an NCO in 2GA and a great Cadet Corps member Golfy has really always wanted to be a gamemaster and was quite excited when he hit enough hours to apply. He would be a great addition to your team. Idk abt events tying into war though Golfy maybe take that last portion out of Comms having to be stated in chat some people might get pissy with that but good luck!

Now, take this with a grain of salt because I have such high standards when it comes to even considering a 1+ for these type of appeals. And that’s because it’s personal people have spent months attempting to fix their reputation and to fix their image of themselves so to see someone get unbanned just for being apologetic and addressing what he did wrong isn’t something I take interest in. I will now begin to explain why I’m giving you a -1. To start off this rubs me the wrong way. It seems like one of your motivations for appealing is the fact that “No one else is around who remembers the bad shit you did” therefore you can give them a nice apology making you seem like a cool guy and they’ll give you the 1+. I don’t see any reason to why someone would want to appeal because of this (Unless your glad people don’t remember your previous image) Okay, I personally gave Oatlife a 1+ for alting and improving his reputation and honestly this is one of the only reasons I’m not going to support a community wide ban. Is because you were able to show atleast a small amount of change and maturity in the time that you Alt’d. But on the other hand Oatlife’s appeal was denied purely for the ban evasion and I don’t see why it’d be different in this case. Finally, I think the sentence I say the most in this community is. Actions Speak louder than words. If you truly used your time in this community for the good people would have the impression that you were/are a non-toxic individual and you like everyone else are able to reform. My final verdict. -1 to an MRP Unban, Forum Unban, and Teamspeak Unban 1+ to the removal of Yurri’s bans on Rust, DRP, or any other GG related server (Outside of MRP) with this said my suggestion is to allow him to improve his reputation on other servers to really test his maturity after some time and people who can actually vouch for his change on the server I will be open to unbanning you from said platforms.

-1 Given what Fetn & Eli said I don’t know if your attitude will set a good example for new players and people who partake in your events. Part of being a game master is keeping a cool head when shit goes sideways and I don’t know if that’s a trait you have right now. Maybe, wait a little until you improve your reputation. I’d focus on getting Eli and fetn and other important members who play US on your side.

Pencil, practically stated exactly how I feel about this suggestion. Dont think the addition of another regiment would be healthy for the server and I dont see how it could really be implemented with a big enough purpose to stay in the server and it just doesnt really seem like its needed in the suggestion. Also this could end up like 31B a be a very bad power-hungry situation with the leader of the respective regiment only accepting negotiations, deals, out of spite. (TL:DR There are more outcomes that could go down the wrong path rather than the good one with the addition of this regiment).

Rumors are easy to create especially on an online platform. Don’t understand why’d you excuse him of these things without talking to him first very disappointed. Since I don’t have enough activity to vouch for your reformation I will not be leaving a 1+ or -1. I will say that it seems like you keep getting involved with people who have a distaste towards you. The easiest way to proof that you’ve changed is by keeping your head down and slowly forming/fixing relationships with other players. It seems like you tend to try and change someone’s mind by directly talking to them you should try giving people more time to warm up with you and your actions will show you’ve changed not just your words. But, for those who are leaving -1’s because of something they’ve heard or a rumor that has passed by. you should be ashamed of yourself.

This alone proves to me that you are capable of reforming / acting more mature and will be sure not to make the same mistake with the mass again (I’m not encouraging alting just saying that these actions alone are commendable). You joined the TS the other day and were v friendly despite our past which is pretty impressive and not a whole lot of ppl can do that. Ima put my trust in you for this one. 1+

-1 There are tons of ways to bring in new fresh & enjoyable gameplay for players rather than re-working the entire fucking system. There are multiple things in this suggestion that are either false or just in general wouldn't work with how the playerbase has been formed since the CS_Desert days. I will now highlight said things. This is the first piece of extremely misleading information. and this is imporant to acknowledge so we dont end up making the same mistake again. To my understanding I believe ALQ, Blackguard, and IJU were all removed in the end. And yet this did not improve the playerbase but it wiped players progress from every regiment making more players leave than join. The system you are proposing is quite literally what we have in place right now. The only difference is it isnt quite specified that SSO or GRU is more qualified than the other. This actually works against you the more diversified each SOC regiment is the more newplayers look up to it and want to join. Having different ranks in each faction provides a cool incentive and name change than the boring consistent ranks you'd have to follow throughout your entire time on the server. Every rank is classified as E-1+ or O-1+. This is probably the least of our worries and not something that would be worth changing anything over. This, is also incorrect whilst the "Suggestion" to add RU being made by shrimps who has had no involvement with the server for months may have been under the impression that this was the purpose for RU but it really wasnt. Taliban was dying regiments were being removed leaders were being kicked out everyone that joined the server wanted to be US. RU provided a more serious structure where minges wouldn't be the base factions most worried about issue whilst also providing the MRP category with an RU vs US take which is alot less common than Terrorist VS US. The fact that you can be a Russian and drink vodka attracted new players no one wants to be in a regiment getting ear-raped, MRDM'ed or singled out. When Taliban was in I saw and was even apart of a huge toxicity issue that wasnt healthy for the server. Summarized: What you are suggesting is that we completely erase everything we have built up for the last couple of years to go back to an age of toxicity, MRDM'ing, and FailRP. There is absolutely not a doubt in my mind that Taliban will become a cesspool of negativity and toxicity because that is just what comes with a terrorist faction. Not to mention alot of shit on every map would have to be re-edited by garnet himself inorder to look less like a Russian FOB and more like a Taliban FOB. Honestly, stop trying to rework the entire fucking thing and focus on small things that gradually work towards a better server. If this suggestion were to be accepted we would end up in the same situation we were around 2-3 years ago having to cut down regiments and Re-work the entire system. P.S More than 85% of the veterans who were around when Taliban was still a thing are no longer here and have moved on from garrys mod. if they were still interested in GarnetGaming no matter if there was a bunch of taliban on the server or not they'd be showing atleast some yearly or monthly activity. but, their gone.
