There is the least amount of lag to ever be on the server, with the most amount of content that we've had since launch in like 2014. Unless this is related to your location on the map, and simply being too far from where the server is hosted (ping lag) I can only encourage you to as @Proggy pointed out, join a server with a lower population of 20-40.
