Why should we choose you over other applicants?

 

Being the current 104th CO and having to work with a lot of different battalions as well as other groups to coordinate our efforts, I've found a lot of joy in seeing visions I've planned out coming together and witnessing groups of people break my expectations and immersing me into stories that I have dropped them into. I have previously worked on a lot of stories, writing my own characters and placing them into pre-existing worlds deciding how they would interact with others and how others would interact with them.

I also work in a creative field being photography and therefore I am well versed in being able to tell stories with little information, so to be able to control a much bigger environment with different forms of media sounds exciting to me. Clone wars specifically feels much more interesting to me than any of the other star wars media and I have more drive to continue making events in this world that I could imagine.

Working in a battalion that has felt under-utilised in the past, I have worked tirelessly to ensure that we are at a point where we have a clear identity and are able to complete tasks that GM set us. Finally having this identity makes me want to ensure the same level of communication for other battalions.

I have also worked heavily with other battalions ensuring that communications between us are good, therefore I believe I will be able to continue this as a GM ensuring that each battalion has their voice heard. I don’t believe that every GM has this quality and it is one greatly criticised when a battalion feels under-utilised, I believe that I can remedy this.

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: On average probably 40 hours a week, however I am currently on a gap year before I start Uni and move out in September. 

 

In your own words, what  are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: The GM is the one responsible with setting up situations in order for battalions and players to create RP out of, I also believe that to a higher degree the GMs control the pacing of the events. I’ve specifically wanted to apply for this role over any other staff due to the fact that I love the idea of being able to innovate how the events are run making them more enjoyable and inclusive to every battalion, whilst also retaining features that make them feel immersive. 

 

 Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: Being that I am currently setting up multiple joint training scenarios, I would be able to ensure that battalions could run scenarios more often due to the fact that more GMs would be available. Moreover I am one of the few active people on the server from the EU, hailing from the UK I would be able to do events earlier than most and bring more action, and potentially pop from this. 

 

Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server:

After watching troopers kill each other and revive in order to restock ammo. I wanted to manage to implement more into RP allowing fights to feel more like a struggle and defence to feel more tense when you have no supplies in a foreign FOB. Making attacks and base raids even more desperate, forcing troopers to hold out and make the most of what ammo they have until a LAAT can drop off supplies and ammo.

Rising tensions


This event will begin with a call for help from a desperate monarch who is currently experiencing an uprising from a people’s rebellion.

Information for EC acting as the Monarch: This has formed through his horrible corrupt methods of ruling his kingdom, therefore the person acting as them must present themself as pretentious and a better than thou view on others.

Once the 34th battlegroup arrives I want CG to be escorting the monarch at all times (The monarch should be incredibly dislikeable and documents should be scattered that CG will get a chance to read. These will act as easter eggs for those who wish to investigate, and they will find evidence of his corruption and despicable nature as a tyrant.

After time of preparing for the meeting between the leader of the rebellion and the monarch a convoy will be formed to escort the monarch using medium size vehicles such as the IFT-X, this convoy will be attacked and a gunfight will ensue, this will cause the Monarch to demand to retreat to his quarters where it shall go on full lockdown.

The Monarch is to have an bounty hunter sent after him, however whilst this is happening Navy will receive a private comms that the rebel leader would like to talk with the GAR. 104th will negotiate whilst 41st overlook from vantage in case of a bad turn of events. This will be an attempt from the rebels to sway us into not protecting the Monarch.

If the Navy decides that the Monarch should be overthrown then he will be arrested for crimes and taken back as a HVT, the bounty hunter will try to assassinate them.

If the Navy decides that the Rebels are the true issue then an attempted attack on the clones will be made and 41st will execute the rebel leader, ensuing a fight, continuing to a defence of the Monarch.

This will lead to the end of the event where due to the choices people had we could be leaving with the Monarch in cuffs, the Monarch completely in power and the rebellion overthrown, the Monarch overthrown and the also killed by the bounty hunter, or the rebellion extinguished and Monarch dead.


PLEASE RESPOND!

Upon receiving multiple distress signals and panic among multiple fleets, a message is received in the NCC; a venator has gone down and the surviving admiral is barely getting his words out about the danger.

Upon arrival the 34th will set up their supplies in a nearby FOB, before sending rescue efforts into the venator, to begin searching for survivors,

there will be multiple opportunities for EOD to remove parts of the ship blocking entrances, or ENG RP repairing systems, MED RP for the injured civilians.

Upon reaching the bridge of the Venator they will get a signal coming from one of the few consoles still working. It shows an absolutely absurdly large fleet approaching the planet’s atmosphere.

After 327th finish setting up defences and a perimeter is formed outside the Venator an assault will begin, there will be no armour and they will be pushed back welding themselves shut in a far back part of the ship. After waiting General Grievous will come from and begin wreaking havoc, once he gets low enough he will retreat and an uphill fight will begin to take the venator back and push the forces out.

Upon reaching the outside of the Venator reinforcements will arrive from another fleet and armour will be available, they will down a CIS frigate and survive an onslaught before preparing to evac all of the injured and HVTs.


An Imposter Among us…

This event will be an on-world and something to fill time and ensure people are on their feet.3 random people will be selected by GM without announcing it and they will be traitors to the rest of the base. They must discreetly kill others using a melee weapon and covering their identity. Nobody killed with be any PKs

A body will be discovered within the 41st bunks, a sole CT who had been stabbed in the back, this will lead to CG calling in their investigative department and Anaxes going on lockdown.

The generator will go down throughout this event and ENG must complete their tasks of fixing the generator as it will need proper RP.

Medics must do an autopsy of any bodies that appear for potential clues, depending on how high they roll.

This event will go on for as long as the 3 continue their rampage and people will become suspicious of each other and develop trust issues leading to the need for teamwork and trust between groups and battalions.


Game over

Upon receiving an unknown distress signal from a FOB a small group of troops is dispatched and taken, they will be dragged to a trap house full of trapped rooms with bugs and explosives. They must use their certs to open up a way out as the rooms slowly fill with poison.

with only melee weapons on them, they must fulfil challenges involving hurting their friends and themselves to prove themselves and leave with their lives…

Outside troops will be completely locked out from the building they are in, they must solve the puzzles and outside issues.

All the while the main base will catch wind of the situation and will dispatch troops to search the FOBs to find clues, each will have a message left behind and a fight, once they reach the farm there will be a room filled with traps and they must hack the ray shields. Upon entering they will see one of the captured troopers stripped of their weapons and desperate

The trooper will have been informed that his challenge is to kill the other troopers in order to free himself or the bomb strapped to him will go off, if the troops cannot convince him to comply and allow EOD to defuse the bomb then they will attempt to murder anyone they can and inevitably die, on the other hand if they convince the trooper to calm down then EOD can begin.

The trooper after the bomb is removed will give information on where to find the other troopers and the person who set up the traps. They will be sent to caves and find a resistance of bugs and traps that if they go too fast and don’t do searches for traps will cause gas to be released and explosives to be set off. This will incentivise groups to pace themselves and be careful of their surroundings. Once they reach the mastermind they can either convince them to give up, or kill them and ENG must deactivate the ray shields locking the other troopers in.



An Informant’s tip

This event will begin with a tip being given to Navy about a CIS production facility on Geonosis, the troops will be dropped off and either of these vehicles may be used

2 Large (Juggernaut/UT-AT)

2 Medium (IFT-Xs)

3 Small (Speeders

They will advance from the FOB battalions loading into the transports or following behind armour they commence their spearhead attack towards the factory. They are to be assaulted from the air, with armour, with droids and all sorts trying to prevent them.

Once reaching the factory CQC battalions will be given priority such as 327th, 21st, and 104th to clear, whilst others stay outside to defend the groups entering with the armour.

Once fighting through the factory they will accidentally trigger a security protocol activating explosives that will be set to blow in 5 minutes, they are told to evacuate.

ENG inside the factory will have to work on two consoles, meanwhile an ENG from the squad outside the factory will also have to work on a console. Once they get out they will fight their way back to the FOB.

On the return the troops will be loaded into the vehicles and fight their way back having to do an urgent evac as airstrikes begin bombarding them.

Great person and player. Someone who brings solid ideas to the table in the Discord and in-game.

His application is fantastic and the events are not just unique but you can tell time and thought went into each.

Also having more EU representation is a current goal of the Executive Team so this really seems like a no-brainer.
