Anonimity System

In a shift to slightly more roleplay than what our server offered previously, I thought a great addition would be the omitting of players' names - preventing metagaming UNLESS a player is literally hacking on the server, which thankfully we have the technology to check if the day comes

US players cannot see AFG players' names while roleplaying on the server, and vise versa. This in theory will allow for much better executed infiltration missions, as I may add the possibility for spies to take on fake identities in the future

Increased visible name radius by 50% since it'll now be alleviated due to not seeing another nations' names

 

 

 

Class Corrections

All secondaries have been set to an SR-1M (previously Tokarev)

 

ISI : Vanguard

Added to Afghan "U" Team chat

 

ISI : Officer

Added as a war participant class - will no longer take team damage

 

Taliban Army : LMG

Riot shield added onto loadout

 

Taliban Army : Insurgent

Nitro grenade has been added to the class' loadout!

 

US Army : Demolition

Riot shield added onto loadout

 

US Elite : Juggernaut

Depeloyable Heavy Shield added onto loadout for testing on a smaller scale
 

AFG Elite : Bulldozer

Squad System

Complete squad permission overhaul in order to allow all command, police, and Elite classes onto all channels within their respective nation - abuse will absolutely lead to removal from your battalion, or removal of your Elite class that you had spent money on.

Prop spawn rate - Unanalized this feature and gave GMs a very quick prop spawn rate, to ideally not be met with a "relax you're spawning too quickly" message

The anonimity name system is actually genius. Makes a roleplay scenario with kidnapping and espionage situations significantly less awkward.

So while i do agree that the change to not be able to see names is a very nice change towards more roleplay and a lot less metagaming, I do have one question of if say for example US are in base and a Tali PVT or minging recruit who got out of base and to the US base comes screaming racial/homophobic slurs we would not be able to see this persons name to put in a report on them. While this is a small part of anything it is an important question to ask in case these situations do occur at any point. But otherwise great update!

hold c and right click to take their whitelists and you can see their name. but makes it a lot easier to catch people metagaming if others do that.

or just /id when looking at them.

You can actually see all recruit usernames, just not any enlisted.

thanks for pointing out the exploits I should patch I guess..?
