Popular Post Ethan 457 Posted August 25, 2019 Popular Post Share Posted August 25, 2019 It's been quite a while here on MRP. Been playing for 2 years, been leading SSO for around a year and 5 months. Sadly I couldn't find a leader to take over for me after all that time, but now I said fuck it, and gave it to Gamma. He has enough experience, just hasn't stuck in SSO for long enough to earn it by ranking up, but he has definitely earned it through the interactions he has had with me. Just to keep it short and simple, I plan to go to Rust if Garnet lets me take the position he offered a while ago. If not, I will still be hanging out every now and then in TS, and will hop in-game every now and then on my SSO reserves. It's been fun, but now that I can run other games, I have been less and less inclined to play Gmod to the point that I no longer find it really interesting anymore, and I have a lot of ideas for Rust. I really enjoyed the in-game messages you guys sent me, and the 21 gun salute you guys did. @br0ken-'s speech was great. If you have any recordings of this, or old photos and nostalgic things you want to share related to my time here on MRP, share em below. Here are a few of mine: Back when SSO was poppin' Being a leader in 55th Brigade Back when we changed from being on CSCDesert for a year or so to Chariharikar, celebration right before map changed The operations that started SSO's RP style The reincarnation of CSCDesert, the group that went through SSO during that time The anniversary of IRL SSO, getting some old SSO members to come on and celebrate The mass amount of events I hosted on TaigaForest @Huskaiii amazing me by passing with 25 hours on the server, beating @br0ken-'s record Back when my FPS was shit, and during raids, I would have literally less than 2 FPS at times The boys on TaigaForest and Siberia Holding COMMS on Siberia/TaigaForest The best time for SSO was when these boys were in it, back in TaigaV3, during the Summer of 2018 One of my first interactions with @PrisonNightmare, lmao, interesting interrogation, you're a cool dude, I am still playing the MC server, don't worry I may not have directly @'d some of you, but if you're in those screenshots, that's good enough. If not, you know you left a mark on me if you did, I just have been here so long, I can't remember everything. Glad I took these screenshots though to help me out. I am still gonna be in the community on Rust if Garnet gives me the position, but even if I don't get it, I will still be on TS/in-game every now and then to play a war or RP a bit. Although we had our differences, you still provided a faction that was so much fun for so many months. This has been by far the best server ive played on and you are the reason I stayed for so long. Helping me out on Taiga v3 and giving me all the advice has been a great help and I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. You were my first and only special forces faction leader, and the time that I've been in SSO was definitely one of the best experiences that I've had that year. Had I ignored @br0ken- and practiced for GRU tryouts instead, then I never would have been part of such an amazing faction. There was always something to do in game, and the operations that we did every now and then were always fun. Taiga v3 - Mid Siberia was arguably one of the best times for SSO since everyone was active, and we were always boppin'. I know I said I'd probably come back to SSO in the summer, but I've lost a lot of motivation to play GMOD in general. I may come to Rust every now and again when I get a new mouse just to catch up and whatnot. @Gamma I don't know when you got your mic, but I'll always remember you as that one mute SSO.
