Oatlife 568 Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 Description: [description of what you are suggesting, one paragraph minimum] We in the 91st Mobile Recon Corps would like to request a few playermodel swaps to better reflect our characters and lore, as well as possibly renaming the Donator T2 class from ARF to Scout (or similar title). We would like to add a weapon/ability for Lightning Squadron as we do not have any such abilities like grenades, rockets, etc. Reasoning: [how would this benefit our server?] In Lore, Lightning Squadron is composed of exclusively ARF Troopers so we think the playermodels should reflect it as well as what LS refer to themselves as. We would like to change the current LS Commander and the current LS Recon models to those more reflective of ARF and Lightning Squadron as a whole (see below), That being said the T2 Donator class ‘91st Trooper : ARF [T2]’ poses a problem since it is sharing the same name as what LS should be. We propose a simple title change to the T2 from ARF to Scout (or similar title) that way this part of 91st lore falls into place. (Please know that we are not asking for any model, weapon, or any other technical change to the T2 donor class, just a simple title change) [this change could also apply to 41st as they are somewhat similar] Secondly, in-lore ARF Troopers are equipped with Missile Launchers, Thermal Detonators and Lightweight Recon Armor to help them on their missions, we have none of that. Many other of the Elite subfactions have grenades, launchers, flamethrowers or jetpacks to use. We request the addition of a rocket launcher or thermal detonator to be added to Lightning Squadron, or the DC-15A Blaster Rifle to be swapped with the DC-15S Blaster. ALTERNATIVELY Let us use our speeders more in events as we have nothing significant to contribute to most battles and we become useless droid fodder on the front lines. Lastly we are the only Faction to have our Commander playermodel incorrect, 501st Commander uses the Rex model, the 212th Commander uses the Cody model, the 91st? We use the 91st Officer/Sniper model twice. We would like to swap this to the lore model Neyo model so our Commander can properly RP as our leader. (see below) The current 91st Rifleman, Heavy, Medic, Speeder Pilot, and Officer will not change. Also T1, T2 and T3 Models do not need a change. Mob 33 Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 +1 to everything but the speeders. Speeders are supposed to be used for recon purposes, not to fly around the battlefield and do a drive-by. If we were to add AT-RT's, then I think that would be a better fit inside of the battlefield. 2 Link to comment

They wouldn't be used for drive byes, they would be used for recon purposes. But that's why we added alternatives. 2 Link to comment

Have you driven these speeders? Drive by's are practically impossible especially with the hit-boxes on some of these droids. 1 Link to comment

The new models could be implemented and not overlap as they are different models. Although they do look similar, I have no issue with it unless you do. 2 Link to comment
