Since 2003, when the Federal Border Guards Service was incorporated to the FSB, it has also been responsible for overseeing border security. The FSB is engaged mostly in domestic affairs, while espionage duties are responsibility of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reason you should add this class: The issue, many 2GA Enlisted reach SSP and stay there as they don't want to become a 2GA Officer, and can't fit into the Special Forces factions, SSO/GRU/Vega, so this intermediate faction would be a good fit for those people. An issue that may come from adding FSB is that 2GA would dwindle as everyone would rather join FSB, the solution to this is having FSB merged with 2GA similarly to how Taliban and the 55th Brigade were merged. So anyone that passes FSB tryouts will keep their rank from 2GA, and will still be playing a similar role when compared to when they were 2GA in peace time, In war, FSB can play as a more compact team as other Special Forces do and have a set expectation from all of their members to be of a set skill. You may say this could be done in 2GA, but it would require a separate branch of 2GA that would require a test to join to make sure all members are of a set skill expectation. This is why a separate faction merged with 2GA could be a very good solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tryout Information: The tryouts will contain simulations, scenario questions, experience questions, simple instruction following, and killhouse. These tryouts will not be as difficult as GRU/SSO/Vega tryouts to maintain a fair tryout guideline for 2GA.   6. Russian Rules and Regulations Introduction These rules and regulations apply to all Russian Armed Forces currently stationed in the Russian FOB this message will be sent to. This applies while these Soldiers are in or out of the FOB, and will be upheld by the Russian Officers and Officials. The five Russian leaders have come together to authorize this message. If any of these rules are broken, they may be dealt with by punishments the Officers at the time of the situation deem fit (ranging from a verbal warning to a demotion/blacklist/execution). (These Rules and Regulations are subject to change at any time. Any changes made will be pointed out in a reply to this thread.) Rules and Regulations All Russian Recruits are to be treated with respect unless they have deemed themselves unworthy of basic respect. This means that by default, you must first approach a lost Recruit and guide them back on the correct path to getting trained, or train them yourself following the recruiting guideline on the Russian Ground Forces Documents. During the usage of the Russian Briefing Hall, you will enter the Briefing Hall quietly and with your guns away. The Russian Ground Forces line up on the Southernmost Wall, with GRU, SSO, Frogmen and Vega following in that order beside 2GA. All Soldiers on the floor will follow three simple rules: Weapons away, utilize PTS properly, and face the stage at all times until dismissed by your Officer. While in line, Soldiers should only turn or move when told to. During the usage of the Russian Briefing Hall, only the highest ranking Officer for Vega/SSO/Frogmen/GRU (Enlisted if an Enlisted is the highest ranking) will stand on the stage, all other Officers will get in line with the Enlisted of their faction. Two 2GA Officers will be on stage to represent 2GA, and the rest will line up in their separate Officer line. When dismissing properly from the Briefing Hall, Vega leaves first, Frogmen following Vega, SSO following Frogmen, GRU behind SSO, and 2GA last. There are five separate debriefing locations for each branch of the Russian Armed Forces. The SSO Hall is used by SSO, the War Room Warehouse is used by GRU, the SOC Room is used by Frogmen, the Bunker War Room is used by Vega, and the Firing Range will be utilized by 2GA. 2GA of the rank PVT to JSG (paygrade of E-1 to E-3) may not leave the FOB unless granted permission from an Officer or an SSO Operative or a GRU SGT+. Soldiers within the Russian FOB must keep their weapons on safety, pointed at the ground, at all times unless for a good cause or purpose. The Shooting Range and the Kill House in the Northwestern and Southeastern corner of the FOB respectively are both locations of free gun usage (use the Shooting Range for recoil control or testing of weapons, and the Kill House for improving efficiency in running the KH). All other locations should be used for training purposes as to avoid training sessions being interrupted by gun fire. Special Forces factions are not above recruiting recruits. They must still do this when there are no current 2GA RFRs that aren't already busy training. All Special Forces members must know how to properly train recruits and be ready to do so when they aren't busy with their own tasks.

  12. Also. The only -1s Ive seen a large basis around is Malmood leading it. He SUGGESTED that he should lead it, and if higher ups think he isn't suit fit then so be it. I would not recommend -1ing for one reason, instead give your criticism for what it is worth but that does not mean -1 the whole suggestion over 1 idea. IMO I think the tryouts should not involve KH and should not be very strict as it is a faction to take people from one step to the next. But I still +1 the whole idea because it is something 2GA needs.

  14. Please nerf the Ares Shrike. I understand it is a donor gun, however it is WAY too OP. Honestly, I recognize the stats are hella OP (2-shot kill, VERY good accuracy, 200 mag), but that isn't why we're here. The gun is TOO. DAMN. LOUD. The PRIMARY reason I made sure to get this donor gun was because of the sound. When I'm raiding, I strike fear into my enemies. But it's usually used to just shoot the ground blankly to annoy everyone. It's so oofin' loud. Can I get an f in the chat for my eardrums

  16. By no means am I suggesting the player models either, I wanted to make it as easy as possible for Garnet/Phantom considering they do a lot of work anyways for us. I just had these model on the list for basically a display or an idea for them. By no means am I saying those are the ones we want, we are just trying to make it less time consuming for the implementer if this sub-faction is implemented. Which is why I set the names and loadouts. Also knowing that MPs are frowned upon at this point in time, this subfaction is not MP.

  36. +1 I feel that as though this would bring a good amount more players into Russia as a good amount have been leaving for US SOC factions as they were stuck trying to get into Russian Special Forces factions, and this would be a great way to bring them back over or stop others who are contemplating doing this from following the footsteps of the others towards the US. I have been talking with others all day about this, and I fully support it and it's implementation.
