  2. Description: [description of what you are suggesting, one paragraph minimum] Give Deadshot keypad cracker and Lockpick. I honestly expected a prestige 2 character/job to have something more than just a weapon and climb swep. Now don't get me wrong the character looks dope asf but the things he is capable to do is no better than an assassin or hitman. Sorry but its the truth. I honestly think this should be added since hitmans have trouble getting hits while people are in their bases. As well as the people working their way up through levels as it takes lots of time to make it to prestige 2 and 20 mil just to do it. Reasoning: [how would this benefit our server?] Gives Deadshot a reason to work up to and use. Additional Information: [Photos/Videos][/CODE] non.

  4. This is like the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. It'll probably happen another two or three times. A quick fix for the swapping sides stuff is just go back to the old "don't balance/we don't care if you do or don't as staff." Chances are though either people will complain or one side can't handle not having the help. Brings attention to the problem if there wasn't any attention on it already. Pretty straight forward. Also, it even has the possibility of outlining issues that the faction had/have that the leader doesn't already see or notice. Essentially giving them a chance to fix a mistake formerly not known. I mean typically if it comes to a forum post that probably means that either it hasn't been noticed or the Executive(s) aren't taking initiative to fix the problem. However, this could be because the problem isn't exactly "fixable" or that they might not believe there is a problem to begin with. So that also gives an opportunity for them to vocalize their stance on the matter and at times maybe even set a precedent for faction situations like this. It very easily can just gotta think longer and harder about it. This isn't the first time where "public" focus was brought onto one faction or another and sometimes that attention, negative or positive, can lead to improvements. Even something as small as them being more active than normal and having a presence goes a long way for new players and can reestablish trust/communication with current leaders. Sure you are right in that the post itself doesn't change anything but an effect or biproduct that this post CAN have is what I already explained.

  5. Now this I have to agree with, why is this post been made cause of GB wanting to complain. DF may be inactive but literally Jake has a plan about what to do with DF since for a little while, this post literally isn't helping besides the fact of "oh let me complain about some bullshit". So basically pulling a GRU? Basically RU SOC to RU during war right now.... lmao Literally RU SOC in a nutshell This entire post applies to both sides, but you ONLY go after DF why though? You couldn't pass tryouts, you want someone else in charge etc like I want to know. Theres no reason for this post at all, the friend faction you HAVE to make friends if you're in a faction. I don't know what the hell you're on besides "DF inactive" like I mean hell sometimes I don't even want to play a lot of people don't want to play the server cause right now some people don't enjoy war, events, peacetime etc.

  6. Thank you I expect that to. It just makes sense because the people who spend hours a day just to make 2 mil aren't going to be having that much xp gain nor money to make it possible to prestige even once. As well as the fact that you need at least 20 mil just to afford to become prestige 2

  7. +1 I was going to say Neutral due to the fact Hitmen shouldn't need to worry about cracking into bases (and this would potentially allow for people to use it for the wrong reasons) but beings that this is a Prestige 2 class I think anyone who has gotten to that level should know when you're allowed to raid. Prestige classes should at least have the capabilities of the base-level VIP classes.

  10. ive kinda experienced this, it can be both amazing and ruin a server. like the vip tool, in my opinion that kinda makes people believe u gotta pay to get anywhere on the server. these prices arnt the best. lets say u mine 20 ores ye? and u get mediocre luck, of lets say 30 stone, 5 quarts, 3 gold 1 ruby and 1 diamond. That would be about 100k for mediocre luck. (then again, % and prices could change) but dosnt seem like the best way to price them/the droprate atm. i`d be down for another xp method, if worth that is.

  13. What? I go "after" Delta Force because i'm a US Main, i've never attended tryouts because i've never seen any also lack of wanting to join. I would rather the faction not get wiped, if anything improve. Within the first 2 hours of the post they've already reached out about training GB/Rangers to move into DF which is much appreciated. The goal of this post wasn't to remove, or wipe anyone in DF. Again, I stated it in the post yet it feels like its being ignored, I just want some sort of improvement to happen regardless of what it is. I don't address the RU issues because I myself am not an RU main nor do I have enough interaction with them to formulate as big of a post as this. I'm sure as an RU main you hear about RU issues more than I do. EDIT: the point of the post was largely missed, i'll restate it again. bringing the issue on the forums FORCES people to look at it and take some sort of action. it quite literally forces change to happen sooner than later. finding middle ground is super important so i'm happy to see it happen.

  14. There's always a reason stuff isn't made public. I know first-hand the irritation of not knowing exactly what's going on with a faction with issues, with Camo's Army, however in my scenario I was a member of Army and still didn't know the full details, but I didn't make a forum post complaining about the faction. I waited to see what staff would do, and didn't expect major results in less than a week, and the end result of Jake's steps was Army dominating the server. Not saying DF is gonna dominate the server, but you have to have patience and realise you don't know all the details, and probably never will beyond rumours from someone who heard something. This post is Stork complaining because he feels he is owed a greater explanation on what's happening to a faction he's not even in.

  16. (pictured: left, Dr. Drip Lord |right, grunt medic McPrivate) Yes but the Doctor has at least 1.5x the swag and appears to be more educated. The medic model is the civilian medic bot you spawn in sandbox when you are tryna make combine/zombie takeover scenarios but you need to make like 20 of them because they get obliterated so quickly, unless you give them all annabelles or something

In-game name: Lucher / 54th JLT Loki Age: 18 SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:102650865 Warns: 3 (Basecamp, RDM, Precap) Timezone: EST Playtime?: | 54th JLT Loki has played for 637:25:09. Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: Yes Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:Yes Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?] Fetn Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional] I was GM for Gaminglight SWRP about 4 years ago Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I like to think I have a very creative mind when it comes to creating stories and, in this case, events. I have past experience as a game master and I enjoy playing in events already, which makes me want to create my own. I am capable of fulfilling responsibilities given to me as a GM, as well as performing above standards. I'm willing to explain an event to those who don't understand it, and am willing to remain patient as I do so. I think I've proven myself as someone who has headed events, even when I am not an assisting user, I like to take point whenever organization for an event is needed. I also like to think that those who do actual RP with me, both GMs and Players would think my RP is of a higher standard. I also imagine that I've proven my salt with my dedication, as I took time to learn the basics of Medic RP in order to participate in events more often. I enjoy participating in events frequently, whether it be as a leader, a soldier, maybe something more cryptic and evil, and I want to create an RP environment that is more friendly to new users, but where veteran players can still have fun. I believe in authentic roleplay scenarios, and I plan to make my RP as realistic as humanly possible. I have an overall goal in mind as well, and this goal is to include players of ALL factions, from Base to Tier 1, in events, this way, no one would feel left out. I think a reason the activity from users in general is slowly dissipating is because the server is repetitive, as it's just War, Peacetime, War, Peacetime. I think long events to occupy these peacetimes would entertain users. I also enjoy events that make people tense, that get their hearts beating a little bit. When you give someone something to lose in an event, they get much more serious about it, and I intend to create that type of environment for players overall. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details: I was banned once for 2 days for posting a porn link in radio chat, to avoid any confusion of "why would you do that?", the context is very simple, as someone stated "I am getting blacked by 11B", I responded with "Not as blacked as you would be on [insert porn name].com" I had no malicious intent and this whole thing was sorted through. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I play about 3-5 hours a day, so expect about 30 hours a week. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: To create an environment in which people can have fun, to create stories that keep people hooked to an event for literal hours on end. To craft RP scenarios that give players the opportunity to be given a realistic experience that's both tense and fun. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: My main concerns as a GM would consist of two main priorities, the players, and the team. It's common knowledge that the current GM team is struggling, not to produce events, but producing events with lore. It's not something done frequently, and I think events that span over several wars would be great, as it would keep people hooked onto a storyline. The players, specifically the newer ones, would need to learn how to RP to begin with, and I intend to assist them in learning how to RP, not only in events, but in basic things as well, i.e. Kidnapping. I also intend on hosting small events with RP behind it. For example, a basic kidnapping scenario that's filled with a genuine line of questions pertaining to a future event. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: An event that, as I mentioned earlier, is a literal "bigger picture", and event that starts off with a small, miniscule event, something that no one would realize would turn into something bigger, maybe I start a kidnapping event, but this one is special, this event is a catalyst that will begin a chain of events that end at something giant, something grand. I also want what the main people in the event to be able to change the possible outcome. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] The Sleeper Agent: A new recruit has appeared in the US Base. After being trained this person will begin walking around, listening to every last word he hears, watching every last thing in his sight, darting his eyes around. He socializes with people, but only for very short periods of time. A month later (about 10 mins ingame) The General of the Army has received intel about a possible Russian informant within his current FOB. The investigation begins privately between the high ranking officials of the US FOB... It is up to the players after this to find the mole within the allotted period of time (around 10 minutes until war), or else he will escape with gained intel. Should he be found, this Sleeper Agent has already been activated and is combat trained. He will not go down without a fight. No Signal: During an Operation, a Russian patrol receives intel on a small Taliban cell near the Radio Tower South East (i think) of Embassy. They begin to head over. The patrol radios in a positive ID on a large group of Taliban armed with assault rifles and large explosive ordinance. They radio in permission to engage, the Russian FOB tells them to engage. 20 minutes later, radio contact is lost. They call a nearby patrol to check it out, but radio contact is lost with them as well. The Russian FOB has lost all radio contact with everyone. Anyone outside of the FOB has no way of contacting home base. The Russian FOB uses SATCOM to call the American FOB, they too confirm that their radio is down. Russia assumes it has something to do with the Taliban and organized a small force to begin an assault on the Radio Tower to investigate. At this point in the event, there will actually be a choice, this choice will be if Russia asks the US for help, or will they lie about the situation and not ask for help. The Russians begin their assault, and with overwhelming power, clear the area and find what appears to be a radio jammer, but this one is very technologically advanced... how interesting. The PMC Heist: The US FOB has received intel on something the RU FOB has been building hidden away in their underground tunnels. The Americans want to receive intel on what this device is, and possibly use it to their advantage. Instead of sending in blatant American soldiers, they opt for a more lowkey tactic. They plan on sending in Mercenaries, and hiding some US Soldiers amongst them. These mercs are supposed to pose as Taliban to give Russia the idea that it was the Taliban who raided them for their device, not the Americans. This event can go one of two ways. If they can successfully get to and retrieve the device, the Americans will discover what it is and use it, however, should this raid fail, the Russians will complete their device, and it's true identity and use will never be found out... for now, at least. The PMC Heist, the US fails: The US has attempted a raid on the RU FOB using a PMC with US Soldiers hidden amongst them. They failed, the small army was forced to retreat back to their temporary FOB in Shipment. Men were lost, obviously, and upon investigation, the Russians find some of these deceased men wearing dog tags They immediately figure out what was going on, and they begin to investigate... Hours later, their production is complete. The device isn't a device at all. It's a weapon, person, a superhuman experiment. The Russians opt to test their new experiment on the people who just raided them. Spetsgruppa V tailed the retreating soldiers back to Shipment. This only people aware of this Super Soldier experiment are the Leaders of SOC factions, and the generals of Russia. The RU FOB begins preparations of the Super Soldier, activating it like a sleeper agent. They sneak him out of the base by putting him in normal enlisted clothing and escort him to COMMS and setup a temporary FOB there. This Super Soldier is then given instructions, and heads off to Shipment, where the rampage would begin, but not end... The PMC Heist, the US succeeds: The US has attempted a raid on the RU FOB using a PMC with US Soldiers hidden amongst them. Upon clearing the first wave of enemies, they come to a false wall. After using a breaching charge, the wall blows open, and they find a man with IVs in his body, pads on his chest, needles in his arms and scars all over his body. He is sitting upright in a bed. The PMC and US have four options here. They can either take the man and leave, they can investigate the room, in which they will find a book, this book contains the words to activate this superhuman experiment. They can take the book and the man. Their third option is to take ONLY the book but not the man, and their fourth option is to leave and not investigate the room. Should the US choose to investigate, they will have to fight of a second wave of enemies, potentially causing the loss of the raid. Should they take the only the man, they bring him back to Shipment. Here the RU will have a chance to retrieve the man, should they succeed, then the events of the US failing their original raid will be pan out. Should the RU fail, the man would be then taken back to the US FOB after scouts return with no sightings of them being watched. After returning to the US FOB, the US would obviously figure out what the man is. A superhuman experiment. Now, the US have a choice here as well, they can dispose of the experiment by cremating it, or they can attempt to use it. Without the book, the only way to use it is to kidnap a Russian Officer, as they would know the method of awaking and utilizing the Super Soldier. Should they opt to take the book and the man, the kidnapping would not be necessary. Should the soldier be activated, the US FOB decides to use it on a Russian Patrol, in which it would begin its rampage, but not end...

  21. You may have seen traveling merchants, get-rich-quick hobo schemes, and others. In this guide, I'll teach you how to get your weird business idea off the ground 1.) Think. Pretty simple, using your last 2 brain cells to get you money faster than printing. An interesting example I have seen is Duke's Shop, a recreation of Resident Evil: Village's traveling merchant in the game. Duke plays as a hobo with a carriage and buys/sells crate exclusive goods. 2.) Look at the surroundings. Players on Garnet tend to be smooth brain, big flashy colors draw in 12 year olds like it's Epstien's Mansion. Hence why you see hobos use big text with multiple colors as a leaderboard for who had the most money to burn. 3.) Look at the least played classes, then glorify them. A good example is the Black Market Dealer. How more people don't buy from him is crazy, you can buy frag grenades, unarrest sticks, keypad crackers, the works. Take a class like the dealer and glorify it like a disco ball. Give ominous adverts about your product, making him seem a bigger deal than your AK selling cousins in the Weapons Dealers. Or become Lana Rhodes and create a brothel as a prostitute, guaranteeing a Speed Testosterone Deal (STD for short) with every go at the living fleshlight. 4.) Copy off of someone and change a few things. Let's face it, you are too busy playing Garnet to do your homework, so you copy off of your friend (if you have one) and change a couple things to make it yours. Same deal. Guy has a gun store? Make it a gun store with prostitutes. Drug Dealer around the corner gets more money than you? Raid him in cold blood until he rage quits then do exactly what he was doing, but with the flashy lights from before. If you follow this guide to a T, you'll be richer than you can imagine, but still be a level 10 because nothing you did brought up your XP.

  26. I'll agree, I am complaining about their activity for sure. But all these points nonetheless are valid. They're just criticism of a faction and how its been "handled". Of course i'd love an explanation, but anything else coming forward is stuff we've already heard. Its a Tier 1 on US that has little to no involvement with any other factions. Keep in mind this isn't just me wanting an explanation, i'm just the one who made the post and felt like it was necessary to make it public.

  27. Disclaimer : This was suggested by a few members of the community to be put in the mrp suggestions sub-forum. However, I think it'd make more sense in general discussions, as this is generally just a discussion in order to form some sort of change. Also, you will see me reference "T1" multiple times in this post, for any non-MRP players, a T1 is the best faction on either side. [Introduction] Negligence is defined as failure to use proper care in doing something. The action of neglect can be evenly spread through a group. In this discussion i'd like to talk about and bring attention to the self-destructive tendencies of DF ( Delta Force ). For any non-MRP players, Delta Force is supposed to be the best faction on the US side. Best in player combat, best in roleplay, etc. They're supposed to set an example for the rest of US SOC, as well as the base faction. While they still manage to be great at combat, they fail to actually play enough for anyone to notice. As goes with the roleplay, however I can't state on if their RP is adequate, but that's besides the point. I'm not here to bash on their skill in Delta Force. I just want to point out that they have been majorly inactive for the last 1-2 month(s). This has ultimately led to a dead faction and the absence of a major key on US. [Topic/Point I. : Uninterested] Delta Force has generally made it aware that they are uninterested in playing the server or interacting with any members of US. Without naming names, players in DF have claimed themselves that they just lack the essential interest that's required to play a T1. Even if you discredit my claim, albeit, with no pictures given, if you play the server enough you'd be able to tell they aren't interested. They don't play, they don't interact, they essentially do the absolute bare minimum, IF that. There normally isn't an issue with being uninterested, you either move on to a different faction, or resign and move on. The issue with being uninterested in this case, or a lack of interest if you will. Is the fact that they all hold relatively limited spots in a T1. You can't sit in a faction for 2 months getting on for 15 minutes a day and claim you're having fun. If you aren't having fun, aren't interested, or don't want to play, then give someone else the opportunity to do something with that position. This point in itself can be backed up by US leaders and officers alike. [Topic/Point 2 : Unbalanced Playtime] Yes, I know this is essentially just being inactive, and that's the whole point of the post, however, I would like to discuss when they ARE on. First and foremost, being a T1 normally means you play on your respected faction. Of course, since the majority of the players are staff, they will swap over to help RU in an attempt to balance wars. Followed by an immediate AFK/logging out to play other games. When they swap over, just to log off right after, they have effectively logged in no playtime to their respective faction. I'm not saying DON'T help RU in wars, but immediately logging off after a war you played on the opposite side, does NOTHING for your main faction. The balance of their playtime is the main issue. Point being, they log on for a single war, then AFK/logout. Zero interaction with anyone, which leads everyone to believe Delta Force doesn't play. [Topic/Point 3 : Empty Promises] The leader of Delta Force has allegedly talked to his members ( from a trusted source ) about their activity recently. Little is to be done about it. No improvements, no communication to US Leaders, nothing. Empty. Promises. When you join a T1 you're essentially agreeing to play the most respected faction on your respective side. Which means you promise to play it when you can, be active in it, and interact with others while in it. The current Delta Force roster has failed to hit any of those marks within the last 2 months. This claim isn't just my own, it's most of the US SOC, if not all. Excluding Delta Force of course. [Topic/Point 4 : Lack of Actual Presence] Every Friday meetings between USSOCOM are held to discuss any issues on US, or any improvements being made. Within the last 2 months, only one notable Delta Force member has made an effort to show up and talk. Now, this isn't really make-or-break in regards to showing up to a meeting. However, it's worth noting simply because they don't attempt to do anything else within any other US SOC. No communication, no activity, no presence. Here are some screenshots ( ones I have gotten recently while in the process of typing ) where players don't know either what DF is, or who is in it. Screenshot One: https://gyazo.com/ed53d6a4cf6dc8162ccec28deecd9078 A drill instructor, a SFC, doesn't have any clue what DF or Delta Force is. Goes to show their presence is slim, this same player knows who Rangers and GB are tho. Screenshot Two: https://gyazo.com/8a17051ee6ca261802c3999d9315b96a A 2LT in the army is well aware of the issue with Delta Force. [Both screenshots are from the main MRP discord] With the couple screenshots shown, it's not too far off to assume Delta Force doesn't have the respective presence that a T1 deserves to have. [Topic/Point 5: Friend Group Factions] The idea of a friend group isn’t necessarily bad. It’s when the friend group ignores their own issues in their respective factions. They seemingly are all pretty self-aware they don’t play, but being self aware as a group, and everyone understanding the issue but doing nothing about it is the issue. I’m only bringing up this point to show the clear bias in the regard to no one attempting to fix the issue. Simply because they are all friends. Again, nothing wrong with being friends with everyone in your faction, but ignoring issues because of it is the problem. Not acting on things because of it, is the problem. I was going to make a 6th point titled, “Untouchable Faction”, but I think a post like this kind of negates that point in the event something happens ( which is the hope ). Anyways, had this post not been made, no notable progress would probably happen. This isn’t to say or disrespect the current SuperAdmin. But from what I have been told, a few players went to said SA and explained the issue, which all of US SOC are aware of. Some sort of “talk” happened, and from what we’ve been told, nothing seems to be happening. The claim “change doesn’t happen overnight” is pointless here. This has been an issue for 2 months, it shouldn’t have been one for longer then 1. [Topic/Point 6: No Current Benefit] A T1, whether they benefit by carrying war, adding to a ton RP, or literally adding anything of substance, is expected. The current Delta Force roster adds nothing as of recently. Again, as I said earlier I'm not trying to say they’re bad at combat, but they simply don’t play enough to have any effect on war. They’re out of touch with the players that are on their team, they serve no use. They don’t attempt to bring up USSOCOM members by training them into Delta Force. They do nothing at all. Instead, some members, without names, hop on the opposite side ( RU ) and interact with them. If helping RU is their top priority then they should leave the T1 and focus their efforts there. Point being, they provide nothing of substance to the server ( US Wise, which is their responsibility ). [Topic/Point 7: Staff Connections] Not calling anyone corrupt by ANY means in this point, I just want to point out a connection. The leader, being the current MRP Manager, is also self aware his faction does nothing within regards to the server. I would like to believe that had any other faction had a massive inactivity issue, they'd be talked to and expected to improve. One of which has been spoken to, and has made improvements since. This just seems like a major issue that's being slept on for no reason other than the fact, that its being avoided. This being the majority opinion in USSOCOM, it only makes sense to go bring this up publicly to be discussed so the issue is properly addressed, instead of avoided. [Conclusion] To wrap this post up, I spoke with a bunch of people about this post, whether it made sense to post. Everyone agreed that posting this thread makes the most sense, it's been a prolonged issue that has had little to no resolve. I wanna make it VERY clear, this isn't a direct attack on the players in Delta Force as PEOPLE. It's a discussion on the WHOLE faction, not the individuals. Although a few individuals may be addressed, they're attached to valid points. And please keep in mind, this is a discussion centered around this specific issue as a FACTION. NOT, individually.
