  1. I disagree with the change because this will single handily get rid of the explosive advantage Afghan has. Removing arguably one of the most powerful explosives is one thing but to remove it and give it to the opposing nation and by also replacing ours with a shit prox mine is horrendous change to be made. Nailgunner is already better than RPG and to give them the Grenadier kit will put us at equal or lesser arms with explosives

  3. Dawg WHAT Editing the suggestion to leave out any changes to Grenadier. Realized that if the self damage rule is in place for Afghan, then this class doesn’t need to be touched. Regardless, the prox mine is receiving a buff soon. In your famous words, skill issue? Making their Spike class usable and giving it a strong GL will in no way “put us at lesser arms with explosives” lmfao Played 2 wars while on LOA. Both were post rule adjustment. Plenty of complaining in OOC and you just saw what Towelie said. Added a potential alternative to the rule that might make both parties happy.

  5. Personally I don't see why you don't think 13/14 year olds aren't mature enough to be staff. I was staff at 14 and I just got back in at 15 and you gave me your plus one. I only ever see you going neutral or -1 on peoples apps because there are around 13.

If so, Include details About 10 months since I got banned and it was a big one, I was banned for 6 months for harassment. Basically some dude was telling some friends of mine to kill themselves and obviously I could've reported it and went on with my day but instead I said some things I shouldn't have. I waited my time and i have definitely learned from my mistakes How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I got about 2-3 hours a day depending the day of the week, i'm a full time college student and i have a job so of course ill take priority over that In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: My main responsibilities are to provide entertainment to the server and help keep players interested in the server. I know not to handle situations that require staff. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: As a clone life there are many things that I can do for RP, as a SGT I can host patrols, send out players to outposts, i'm an engineer so i can do IFT-X repairs with other players. Or I can play the role as a injured soldier for the medics to do some RP with me Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: Event 1: Missing convoy (On-world) Any available clones on anaxes get called to DB and are informed about a missing convoy that was sent to the village. All the info that is given is the route they took and too proceed with caution. As the clones headout they find dead bodies and destroyed vehicles, the second that they realize that it was an ambush scavengers/raiders appear from the bushes and begin to open fire onto the clones. After the clones manage to kill the wrong-doers they must complete the mission by bringing the supplies to the village for all the villagers Event 2 : Something lurks (On-world) This event will be stretched out over a couple of hours. The basic idea is that CO’s are given info that there's something outside the base that is giving the clones trouble. The CO’s are then issued orders to send their men out to find it. During this time small groups of clones are sent out to the forest to look for this thing. On their patrols the clones may experience, Physiological horror and start to hear things. This will only be a few people. After bringing this info back to base some may think the clones have gone crazy. Until a patrol is sent out and finally sees this monster. This monster will start spawning hostiles of unknown origin with plans to kill the clones. It will be up to them to stop this horrible creature! Event 3 : Stowaway (Off-World) (I swear it's not meant to be like among us) This event will take place on the good ol venator, The clones will be briefed on a mission about a distress signal involving the CIS and a trader (which is irrelevant) On flight they will be attacked by pirates, the clones will successfully repel the attack but one of the pirates will manage to get some clone armor and do his best to blend in. The stowaway will attempt to sabotage the venator and its up to the clones to find him (CG Mainly). Once he is found out he will be jailed and the clones will find out the mission that was originally given was a fake distress signal. Event 4 : Unexpected betrayal (Off-World) The clones get briefed on a distress call that the CIS has overrun their village and they need immediate assistance. The clones assemble quickly and get to the village as fast as they can. Upon arrival they don't see any sign of the CIS or the villagers for that matter. They keep moving to the village anyways. As they get closer and closer they can see that there are wrecked ATTE’s and IFT-X’s. They feel like something isn't right. Once they make it to the village it's clear that the CIS aren't there. They try to look for the villagers for answers. Then from the hilltop the CIS open fire trying to kill as many clones as possible. During the chaos the jedi’s notice a dark figure standing in the back. The jedi leave the clones to fight this mysterious figure, only to learn that it is a sith. After a crazy battle the clones and jedi manage to come out on top. They find the mayor of the village to confront them, they learn that they made a deal with the sith to lead the GAR to them for a vast amount of wealth. It is now up to the GAR to deal with the village (Leave them and never return) or (Treat them as hostiles and kill them all). Event 5 : Assassination (On-World) (Possible PK) Bounty hunters head to anaxes to kill a clone officer (whoever is on that is 2LT+) The clones will be given tasks to head out of base and it's up to them to protect their CO. The bounty hunters must find a way to kill the CO without being found. This will last until the bounty hunter gives up, the clones complete all the tasks or the CO/Bounty hunter is killed. [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]

  10. What about changing the rule to like: Self Damage: Self damage is when you inflict 75 damage to yourself or die from your own weapons. Self Damage is a warnable offense

  12. I actually agree. I wanted to try this out and a part of me hoped it would work out for a little longer, but I had too much faith that people wouldn't abuse it and I think the best solution is to just bring it back. I've edited this into the suggestion.

  13. DeniedThe addition of mortars is denied. Adding a Base Defender Regiment has been done in the form of MP during peacetime. As for adding people designated to stop base campers that is a faction suggestion not a server one. @Smity_@OzzyLock and Move

  17. OVERRULED - (DENIED) Prop-climbing is against the rules, and the rule Hama has quoted is listed specifically for the Hobo's job. You may not spawn props randomly around the map, they must be part of your hut. You admitted to building the stairs just to climb onto the roof of a building (prop-climbing), these props were not part of a hut. Your warn will remain.

  19. You've pretty much changed my mind with this. I've since maxed out settings to make the map bright as hell so it seems I've overlooked that the new player joining the server likely doesn't match my settings. I'll leave it up there for now to hear other feedback and maybe it'd be something for a brighter map. I specified buildings specifically because the picture I had was US soldiers patrolling and they combat a sniper in a window, but that's probably not realistic. The problem I have with this is that we already do a lot of pretending. We pretend not to know where the opposing faction's bunks are. We pretend to not know easily researchable information such as Army's ranks. We pretend that textscreens don't exist, we pretend afghan are civilians when they have keys out, etc. We just do too much of that to justify using models as an excuse to exclude a class from the ROE. I think we just make it simple. The fact that it used to be enforced and isn't anymore is partly due to the reason that we are fine without it. Players are naturally going to swap when hard dominating a war and there really isn't instances of people intentionally swapping to the dominating side to sabotage war. If this is really a concern, I guess, but it doesn't happen as of now and we doin alright. On the issue of lag, the idea is that they would cost a lot of money. Back when cars were purchasable by everyone they were a pretty hard grind to get to and I think that could be replicated. Another option is to keep the officer rule but still make them purchasable, but I'd even like to reduce the rank requirement down to something like E6-7. I'd like carjacking to come back and stolen cars to be able to be sold so that little squads of bandits go poach to earn some extra cash for the grind. Fair point. This is also why I like the idea of a requirement to call a debrief before going on raids. We've enacted this on Afghan already but I think it would be a beneficial thing server wide. This addition would also assist with my next thing: I would agree but this really sounds like yall need to deadass just call DB earlier. Seems like this rule might force you to do that so honestly I want to double down on this. I'd rather take the opportunity for fun over sympathizing for US officers always being late. Myself and a few other players talked about giving more freedom to faction leaders. Half of the time people cancel their tryouts because nobody shows up. I'd rather give PVTs the opportunity to tryout and fail than completely bar them off from coming until they hit E4. I don't want things for new players to feel like its a mile away. I want them to have a chance, even if there isn't much of one. I think the potential for them to get hooked into server environment is much higher if they can interact with things like that. I can speak for myself when I say that I'd be able to handle being an officer in one faction and an enlisted in another. I know the same can be said for many other players and I think if somebody wants to be that committed and is actually able to divide their time, let them. If the faction leaders are cool with it, then there really isn't a problem. If your activity dies in one of them, you just get removed. I think the best way to combat friend factions is from a management standpoint. These things are very easily identifiable and I guarantee people are sneaking past this rule more often than not. If a faction is struggling, I think low WO and officer cooldowns are fine and the faction leader should be able to decide that. You should really consider applying for staff because this response was a lot of really good feedback and that kind of thing is what we could absolutely take more of.

  21. The purpose of this suggestion is to buff the Spike class and possibly revert the self damage rule for Afghan. Afghan's appeal includes a more explosive playstyle, but with how I created the original Afghan Elite classes, wars can see up to 5-10 additional players with a powerful explosive in their hands. Additionally, I'd like to give US Elite : Spike a real reason for use and open the door for a strong GL for US. Remove m9k_proxy_mine from US Elite : Spike, add m9k_milkormgl (or m9k_ex41 alternatively.) Reduce Milkor MK1 mag size to 4-5, unable to be resupplied, and give it a firerate. Add back the self damage rule for Afghan. Possible alternative: Restrict donator classes from self damaging while allowing any standing AFG factions to do so.

  23. I haven’t heard a single complaint about AFG and the new self damaging rule. it hasnt even been a full 3 days of the rule being set. That part is just plain stupid.
