It's been a good run, but the way things have been going I just don't want to deal with it anymore. Too much fake shit, we're supposed to be a team working together, we were supposed to all be friends but it some how turned into a bunch of high school drama. Got to learn how to talk shit out, talk to people and hash it out instead of talking behind their back. If we learned how to do that those problems that arose last month would have been minuscule and handled right. Met a lot of great people from staffing here, I'd go through and mention everybody but then this would become a long book and I'm not leaving, just want to be able to play the game and enjoy myself when I do get on. 5093 sits since I started staffing again a year ago, it could've been more but I just lost the drive. Hoping the server can move past all the bullshit that has been happening, and continue thriving. Been here on and off since 2017, the only server I use to play back in the day that is still around today and that says something! Been great staffing with you guys, I appreciate all of y'all for real.

Greetings everyone, I hope this message finds you well. It pains me to do this, but I will be stepping down from my moderator position on the Garnet DarkRP staff team. I know, I know. I am a pillar of this community and many of you will ask " BUT DEPOT, WHY? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?" This comes as recent events have come to light. The constant racism, sexual harassment, and discrimination I have endured have had lasting effects on my mental ,emotional, physical, social, and spiritual health. I would like to be able to play this server once again as a no-mic who RDMs and builds. I've been a moderator for many reddit forums and discord servers, but joining the staff team on Garnet DarkRP has been my downfall. Never again. One scandalous event right after the other. I have also done my own investigating and have found damning evidence that can place several individuals in prison for a very long time. I won't @ anyone, but you know who you are, scum. But I digress. I have had my fair share of fun on the staff team, but my time as a moderator has come to an end. Farewell. @Chrisrid Thank you for being a great mentor. Description: Combat Medic/Police Medic Reasoning: For police medic it would add a fun new role to the police, they could be like the warden where they don't have an arrest stick, their main purpose would be to support the police department during raids and rp situations that could require healing. This would be very helpful for the police department as lots of newer players don't buy perks to help save money, so they are always low on health and in need of healing. As for the combat medic similar to the reasoning of the police medic, this could help newer players during raids or just life in general. They would basically just be a thief with a medkit. Both of these would be super helpful to newer players QOL, it would help save them money and keep the odds a little fairer to them when facing VIP players or regulars who purchase perks.

Description: Rebel and Rebel Leaders, they would have the sole purpose of fighting back against the government and would be able to take over the PD for a short time 10-20 minutes. Reasoning: This could make being police more fun as you would always have someone fighting back against you, and it could help add some more ways to interact with the police. It would also add a new dynamic with PD takeovers. They would basically make the land lawless for the whole time they are in power. (obviously server rules still apply like RDM, etc...)

Give gang leaders a keypad cracker as well as a lockpick. This would allow the gang to more effectively raid.

Introduce your friend to the most friendly game ever...... Rust! chat/voice offenses = chat/voice punishments. probably should create a log though so it's easier to manage/find out why someone is muted.

Reduce amount of fading doors from 4 to 2 or 3. Raiding most actual bases is impossible and thus isn't even tried. Many people just AFK with someone occasionally checking on the base or just assume the presence of a well constructed base will deter raiders. Positive results include -making raiding easier for lower level players -making printerfarmers have to actually play the game -making raid defense more panicked and therefore more interesting

Honestly the last 3-ish weeks of playing the server opened my eyes to the lack of leaders the server has. To almost being banned/demoted once to actually being banned for a month (unbanned by the man himself) Its safe to say I'm no longer needed in the staffing realm. I've been playing this server for years now and weird enough I've only been punished towards the time of being an established community member While it has been fun for the most part I'm making this post mostly to wish the very best to Cyber Sword and @Nutter of course, to hopefully repair the server that is clearly a hurting population for the "veteran" players and staff. I was planning on making this post after getting unbanned last week but It was halloweekend so I wanted to enjoy myself.
