This Is Gmod Darkrp, Not IRL -1, Cops Adverting Raid just seems dumb to me. Also 100% not a fan of the quickdoor thing. Just stack a prop or 2? or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 or 10. Its your issue if you can't manage Ur props correctly. -1

(include any proof): Simply, I was raiding a base and killed the players inside of the base. 2 players left the base and were killed in the process. I get banned for unintentional mass RDM for killing 2 people outside the raid area. 1. Chawhead says when I asked him how many people died outside the raid area, he said "I see two people killed outside the raid area" Then proceeded to say that logs show that more than two people were killed outside when in his own clip where it shows the entire raid, I kill only two people. If the logs show that I killed more than 3 people outside of the base, then why does the clip show that I only killed 2. Another argument that was made was that "The rocket was blocked by a prop". Even if that was the case, the explosion still shows that I killed only 2 people outside the raid area. The staff in their own words admit that I killed 2 people outside the base and the clip shows that as well. Either the logs are glitched, or the server somehow thought that shooting a rocket forward results in killing someone behind me, I shouldn't' be punished for something I had absolutely zero control over. Chawhead: "The clip only shows 2 deaths because how could a clip show where everyone died, unless you're actively looking around for them." Again, it's not my job to provide the evidence it is up to the reporter. The clip clearly shows I shot the rocket at the building and killed everyone in there. Unless I used a Davy Crocket, then where else would I have gotten all those kills. Note: this isn't me bashing Chawhead for what he's saying or anything, I'm just recounting the staff members logic throughout the sit.

I would appreciate if you would tone down the attitude buddy. Everyone else here is being constructive and friendly while at that. You've marvelously wasted time refuting each of my claims when everyone else has already elaborated clearly enough that it is not a good suggestion. I think a rise of trolls should be dealt with by a rise in mods I have played for over 100 hours and one phrase I hear over and over is "where are the mods". What I want to accomplish is letting the garnet gaming dark rp server grow like it deserves and in order for that to happen we need more mods. I don't hold grudges and don't have bias and I have also had an education on how to talk people to help them through really hard times. plenty of things slide under the rug and we need to make sure that trolls know they have no place here with us at garnet gaming dark rp. This is why I think I should be a mod I have gotten to know everyone and want to help them have fun and the best way to do that is by being a mod. I have noticed that people say mods don't do anything and I do not want them to think I want them to know that if they file a report someone will help them in a quick and kind manner. I used to be in boy scouts as well and was thought to follow authority and was taught how to be good at problem solving. Helping out new players is one of the key things to help a server grow because if someone join and they like the server they will play more but if people are saying mods don't do anything they are less likely to stay. I was not banned over something in game, it was simply a community ban, and the incident happened over discord. Why should your ban be removed?: I think in the time since my ban I had changed and matured. I have gone through things like therapy and have been able to get back in contact with some friends from this community. I am now able to get to know people as my true self and some members of the community want me to return. As well as to be my self among the community. I'm kind of bad at words so I apologize if this is very lack luster.

-1 What @IAreGunner said. it's on you to ensure your quickdoor is reinforced or protected from battering rams. As for annoucing raid, I don't see what value it adds imo. it just adds more work and red tape to an already well defined role where you already need proof to execute a warrant. The /warrant command already announces the equivalent of "raid" when it pops up on screen, and gives a reason for the warrant. What more is needed?

For the short time I've known you I've had zero issues with you, and when I see you your nothing but kind (unless its towards the common homophobes/racist) and I see no issue with you becoming a member of the staff team. Now more than ever, the server needs all the help it can get with people willing to actively staff and help the community be a better place. With that, you have rightfully earned my: +1

Ok so after I got the report and was informed what had happened by the reporter to which they explained that they were hit by the splash damage of the rocket. After further review of going through our logs and where they showed the location of where everyone died I came to the conclusion that at least 3 people died in the street and 1 on the roof of the building making it a total of 4 people dying outside of the building. From what I looked at it is pretty evident what you were doing, you hit 14 shots in 1 second with the most inaccurate weapon the ares strike (LMG). Such as the players & staff did, I tried to replicate the base and reenact what I saw and there is no way you knew when he was coming out and you killed wagon milliseconds after you killed metro without missing a shot it doesn't add up. you were also banned from another Garry's mod server for hacking (aimbot). Plus you sent injection files to @ioms. Another thing to note is you were not pressed about getting banned saying and I quote <13:27:32> "Frogggy": ight peace ill be back in a few years when bans reset. which isn't concrete but shows that you knew if there was going to be a ban wipe you would just come back not caring you got banned for hacking you also waited 5 years to make another appeal seems ironic since no one from that time is around anymore to provide proof. Yes, I did say that it hit the oversized prop but after further review and what I was trying to tell you before you were banned is that it actually hit a player trying to exit the base causing unintentional mass random death match and splash damage to players outside the base which is what caused the report. In the clip, you can see the person exiting the base and the rocket hitting them. You can also see the people on the street dead from the damage of the rpg. The new log system shows where the deaths happen down to a T providing picture proof of the incident, which is why I told you that the logs will show where the other deaths occurred. The clip only shows 2 deaths because how could a clip show where everyone died, unless you're actively looking around for them.

Description: Police don't have to notify anyone in any way shape or form that they have warranted someone's base and do any sort of advert when executing a police raid. I believe that a police raid is no different then a normal base raid, other then the fact that police cannot keep printers, and MUST destroy them upon encountering one. Police raids can be falsified, and have ruined good farming runs on several occassions. I also believe police should only be allowed to use the battering ram on keypad linked doors, and not quickdoors.Reasoning: I believe requiring an advert of sorts would help make people more actively aware to such scenarios. I also believe that it would make it fair, as any other criminal/job that can raid has to advert meanwhile police don't have to. Not every warrant is a "no knock" warrant IRL, and it should be no different in DarkRP.Additional Information: None.
