Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I should be chosen over other applicants because I have the maturity, knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication that is needed to become a staff member of the DarkRP Staff Team. Nearly 5 years ago, I joined the Garnet Gaming DarkRP server, primarily because it was one of the few servers my computer could handle at the time. I'd play on the server every now and then, either just wandering around or goofing off. As of last year, I gradually found myself playing more, and over time, I became attached to the community. The beginning of this year, in particular, sparked my desire to become a staff member, engaging with the community, helping new players, and understanding all the aspects of the server. I believe I have a trait that is important for all staff members to have, good communication. Good communication is integral when taking sits, as it involves informing players of why they're being reported, how it will be addressed, and what actions will be taken. Another important trait that I have is efficiency, taking a sit that has been made recently to ensure it's being dealt with quickly. There have been multiple instances where I don't see sits being taken for a long time, despite there being staff online. Maturity is another important trait that I have, as it enables me to approach sits with a level headed perspective, exclude any forms of bias, and handle sits calmly and responsibly. I'm able to build goodwill among other staff members, ensuring that any decisions are collectively agreed upon while working together. To conclude, the qualities and traits I've mentioned are integral reasons as to why I should be chosen as a staff member. My commitment to ensuring rules are followed, promoting a positive and enjoyable experience for all players, and serving as a positive role model for others. I am eager to contribute to the server as a staff member and uphold the values that make Garnet Gaming the fun and enjoyable server that we all know and love. Now I completely understand that these bans are raising up red flags, however these bans are nearly 4 years old. I believe it has been a huge amount of time by then to know the rules and learn from prior mistakes. I have made sure to avoid getting into trouble, and have kept a clean record since then. Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: No, this is my first staff application. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: 5-8 hours weekdays, and 11-14 hours weekends. About damn time, I’ve been waiting too long. This man has been sitting planning this for months now, finally he took the initative to do so. Amazing paragraphs, but not only that. I’ve been basing with this guy a whole bunch and he next to never shows any disrespect or toxicity. I think Schyzo will be an amazing fit for the staff team. +1 Good luck

DENIED After consideration from the Operator Division and from other staff members, your ban appeal has been denied. While the behavior of our members of the server were inadequate yours was worse. I had told you to stop putting the word "rape" in OOC Chat prior to you being muted and banned. You had multiple chances and warnings to get the hint that those messages shouldn't be typed out. +2 Fantastic member of the community. In the 4 months I've been staffing I haven't seen them be reported once. They're also already active here on the forums, the transition to staff responsibilities should be easy.

i was mean to schyzo when i was drinking one time but he is a cool guy and is better than most applicants that get accepted IMO. Respectful and cool dude from all my interactions. Plus he has an assload of referrals. +1

-1 your a cool person but quite toxic from what ive seen and heard. and I have to agree with the others on your "treat them how they treat you" attitude. I know you have also stated that you would report stuff harrasment wise and yeah its good to report but you kinda just cant start it off with what you said. Your staff app is good but that is not all to this role. Seeing you are previous staff you should know most of these things about toxicity.

gotta say its an obvious +1 and referral confirmation. since day 1 i met this guy its always been a good time playing with him. you have great hours and paragraphs great referrals as well like i said +1 from me

Yeah but do you see what I mean? It's even your mentality here, in your own words you'd be doing it to "ruin their day." That's not at all the mentality you should have especially if you're gonna be staff. I have no issue at all with you reporting a toxic player on this server and improving our community by doing so. But, my issue lies within the fact that your attitude is "well if they do so and so I'm gonna do it back and hit them even harder" - while that can work in some cases in life, in a situation where you are a staff member that represents the staff team on a DarkRP server on Garry's Mod, it will not work. I'm not at all trying to harp on you or anything either, trust me I've made a few mistakes here, including when I was on the staff team. No one's perfect and I'll be the first to attest to that. It's just that your mentality needs to change a bit if you're going to be a successful person on this staff team.

Schyzo my man, been waiting to see when this post would go up haha. Obviously I've interacted with you a lot, based a lot with you and had a lot of time to get to know parts about you. Think it goes without saying that I'm in full support of you. Your paragraphs are pretty good, your overall hours are lengthy and you've made a good repertoire with many folks in the community. You're always eager to help others and while of course you have a previous ban history, it's been nearly 4 years since those happened and in all the time I've known you, you have been nothing but respectful and upstanding. While I'm not listed in your referrals list, I did give you mine as well a while ago. I'm hoping for the best in your application man, good luck! Big +1

Confirming my referral here. I just want to say ever since I met schyzo I have had nothing but great interactions with him. He seems like a very chill individual and every time I see him on the server I enjoy every time I see him. He is fun to hang out with and overall a level headed individual. He has from what I seen tried to help new players and help them to understand the game and if they have any issues tries to help them resolve them. Yes he does have past ban history but it has been a long time in the past and he seems to have grown and stopped that past behavior. I just think with while it is discord moderation does have some experience he can bring to the table. Overall I feel he would be an excellent fit for the staff team. I see no reason whatsoever to deny him. + Paragraphs + No recent punishment history + Excellent playtime + Age + Read the rules

(include any proof): I was playing as R2-D2 and got dragged to the ENG bay for talking. I got cuffed to the wall and was told I was going to be probed and taken apart. This was obviously very confusing and wild at the time. I said in OOC that I needed help and was being raped, which seemed like an accurate cry for help. My chat & voice got muted because I was trying to explain in chat what was going on. Then I heard a higher up say it was an RP reason, because I was a "talking droid". I had zero chance to acknowledge this because I got slapped with a 50-year ban. I wasn't brought to a sit and made aware of what was going on or anything. I wasn't previously jailed, brought to a sit, or anything throughout my whole session, so this was kind of out of the blue. Why should your ban be removed?: I wasn't made aware of what was going on, and it seemed like I was being harassed instead of an RP situation. I was made aware of how a droid couldn't talk, but I was attempting to explain something to someone when I was dragged. I wasn't brought to a sit and helped on what was going on either. I can understand a ban for what I said in OOC, but 50 years seems a bit extreme.
