Referral(s): StS Orion & StS Doodle Past experiences as staff: I have had a variety of staff experiences. I have been playing Garry’s Mod off and on for about 10 years. I have had the honor of being staff on at least four DarkRP servers, once on a sandbox server, and once on a Star Wars RP server. I also have experience in starting a few communities on different games that would regularly have over 100 members in them. Two of the games in which I developed a strong community were “Star Wars Battlefront 2” and “Halo 4”. Why should we choose you over other applicants?: The first reason why I think I would be an effective addition to the staff team is the prior administration experience that I have in Gmod. As I stated previously, I have had the honor to be staff on at least 4 DarkRP servers, a sandbox server, and a Star Wars RP server. I helped start up and craft the staff team for three of the DarkRP servers, and the experience I have had staffing would effectively translate to my time staffing for Garnet if I am lucky enough to have the opportunity. Through this staffing experience, I have learned how to have as much of a positive effect on the community as possible. One of my favorite things that stemmed from me being staff was the relationships that I was able to cultivate with members of the community, which is something that I have already taken enjoyment in doing during my time in Garnet. I plan on only expanding upon this if my application is approved, as one of my main priorities would be to ensure that everyone is enjoying their time as a community member. Another reason why I think I’d be a beneficial addition to the staff team is because of the level of value I place on being just. I greatly value a fair environment, and I will do anything I can to uphold the rules put forth by my management to encourage a fair environment for the Garnet community. Through this focus on fairness, I am able to be extremely understanding and unbiased which I think is an imperative trait for an effective staff member. I am also extremely confident that the experience that I have cultivated through different scenarios and positions I have held in my life will translate to me being a superb staff member. I am a serial entrepreneur and have been rolling the dice with different businesses for years now. I have started up a variety of ventures and have managed employees along the way. I also served as the President of Finance for my fraternity for a period of time, which truly tested my ability to productively manage the finances of the general organization and monitor over 50 guys' payment plans. Before I took the seat, the organization had tens of thousands in debt, which I proudly zeroed out by my time leaving the position. The final reason to why I feel I‘d be a great staff member is the level of passion and appreciation that I hold for this server and the community as a whole. I have met a variety of individuals who have made my time here exceptional, and I enjoy passing this forward by making others' experiences on the server exceptional. I truly respect each community member and staff member that I come across due to me holding a deep level of appreciation for this server and those who enjoy playing on it. All-in-all, I think that through my prior staffing experience, my prior leadership experience, the level of value that I hold towards upholding a fair environment, and the level of appreciation that I have towards the Garnet Gaming Community, that I will be a great addition the Garnet Gaming DRP Staff Team. I think that through all of this, I have truly learned the value of being a positive figure in a community and I plan on continuing to do just that as a potential staff member of Garnet Gaming. Regardless of what happens I am grateful for the relationships I have built thus far and the experiences that have been cultivated from them and I can't wait to continue this going forward. Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: No, I have not. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I can confidently say that I can contribute at least 25-30 hours a week. If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?: I love skiing, surfing, going to the gym, meditating, reading up on economics & philosophy, operating my business, and I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family & partner. Haven't interacted too much with you (despite our shared clan status in StS) but in the time I have played with you, I don't think there's been a time I've heard anyone complain about you nor have I seen you minge or break any rules. Your staff app is very well written and your breadth of experience and business savvy is also excellent to see, as you've not only managed DarkRP but also managed some other off-shoot communities too. From what I've seen overall, that and your hours are on the good end of things, I think it might be worth it to give you a chance. Good luck! +1

+1 Most of my time on this server, I've always been running into you and to be honest I've never had a negative encounter. I specifically recall this guy helping me and a couple of other randoms on how to get printers/jobs that do well with money and overall being a great guy. I think he'd be great on the staff team.

Just here to confirm my referral I believe this dude to be a very solid individual. I have had nothing but great interactions with them and every report I have taken from them has been legit and he seems to know his stuff as well. I think that he would be a great addition to the staff team. He has prior experience and that is always helpful if someone does. I feel like if he is accepted he would help new players and overall help make this server fun and enjoyable for not only new players but our regular players as well. Very solid paragraphs and he has no prior punishments or any active warns. With all this, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be accepted. +1 I've based with you nearly every single time and you gave me no issues, never seen you in trouble nor starting problems. Solid paragraphs + you've never been banned, knowing you have past Staff experience is also very well. -1 Sorry man, but as a near life long hobo stan, I don't see this as an issue that needs to be addressed. Can a hobo theoretically obtain a rifle or shotgun? Sure, but that also means that every other class that has weapon restrictions also can. Hobo's aren't supposed to be the type of class to defend or attack with heavy weapons like snipers, it doesn't fit the meta of the class. As far as the enforcement goes on Hobos using weapons larger than a pistol, that's mostly up to the staff to know the rules to be able to enforce it, and players who know the rules to catch when reporting. Many people as hobos have used shotguns or whatever, and I think most forget about it during a report. Classes that can't use weapons larger than a pistol: - Hobo - Hobo Lord - Medic - Parkourist - Prostitute - Covid Spreader - Deliveryman - DJ (Some of you forgot or didn't know, didn't you?)

Don't have any pictures on hand unfortunately, though I can say that I see this at times with people's bases. I can look at what is clearly a prop wall spawned in, yet the "Prop Owner: NAME" never shows up on the side no matter where I look. It doesn't happen all the time mind you, but enough people can say it has happened. Received a few reports over time of propblock and the username was never able to be revealed to me until I did /removeprop on one prop of theirs. Though if anyone does have pics that would be pretty helpful.
