  1. A previous class changes suggestion proposed the "garnet_sr338" as an Army Sniper class, with adjustments (100 DMG, slower firerate), so this could be used instead. If the suggestion gets accepted, then we can look at alternative snipers in more depth, if that's something more people on the server would also want to see.

  5. Also for bases, might be worth removing the runway and setting up buildings so each SOC faction could have their own bunks. That's a cool factor on the current map that each faction as a full building to their own, including base factions. As the runway isn't necessary, due to lack of aircraft other than helicopters, it would free up the space without real detriment to the base.

I know you're slightly unsure what to do with the walls/wall area and what the community wants, so I had this poll done in the Discord I do want to note from a practical perspective of the map, with the walls staying removed, basecamp rules would allow either side to sit right outside the walls of the base hypothetically, which is obviously not what the map was originally made with in mind so that will need looking at if the walls are to remain gone.
  7. -1 Similar reasons to some people above, your involvement in the server seems very limited to 313/Afghan, and I've always preferred staff to be known to both sides. Before people say I shouldn't -1 because of this, I'm of the personal opinion potential staff should be interacting with both sides as trust is important to have, and if people don't know you they ultimately will find it more difficult to trust you. There can be exceptions, in terms of my personal response, if I've seen good things in the individual despite the lack of engagement on both sides, but I can't say I have with Jashmeed yet.
  8. Perhaps simply allow RP order of 'drop your weapon' or something similar to get around any issues regarding how far away someone can be from the base. If people refuse to drop their weapon, they may be shot after warning. To those concerned about RDM, those killed would need evidence beyond logs, such as clips, to show they were not in fact given appropriate warning.

  10. That was the stuff on the doc, and he's addressed most of it already I believe. The whole point of this post is for people to make suggestions about how they want the map changed. This post isn't about 'only necessary' it's about getting the community's opinion on what could make the Omega map more enjoyable, and what people would like to see done to it.
  11. Seems the overall opinion is to have them removed. This was asked in the MilitaryRP server for people to react to. Main reason for this votes result, in my opinion, was pushing out of the arches was particularly difficult as often it was quite some distance to any cover, and all 3 arches were campable with no real effort. People then want them removed so they're not restricted to going into war through 3 obvious points, campable, points with little cover. If the wall was to be removed entirely, perhaps a row of buildings or something to replace them, with gaps between almost every building and possibly some that you could walk through/go to an upstairs window. I feel like a higher vantage point where the walls are could aid the 'archcamped' side countersnipe the campers. Also another main complaint I'd heard was basically all of the Construction objective. It was way too many dark, headglitchable, floors and being there was a major advantage on any Mosque-only war. Someone suggested replacing it with Air Strip, but I also feel this Objective could be a possible replacement too.

Personally I don't agree with the speed boost to the class, as that plus a damage range boost could make it a bit unfair on some of the objective points on this map, and Omega (assuming that is the next map). I also feel it might be useful if you demonstrated through a video or something the rough range of splash it does now, and how much further you feel it should be. Asking for a splash buff, without more details, is what led to the RPG-7 having a stupid splash. Overall though I'm fine with a splash increase for the suicide bomb.
  13. -1 At the moment I don't feel you're ready for staff yet. In my opinion you should spend some more involved time on the server and Teamspeak. Also from my experience with you on the day of this reply I'm not too confident in you representing the staff team in sits and on the server in general. In the future I may change my mind to supporting you becoming Staff, but from what I've seen of you on the server I can't honestly +1 the app.
  14. +1 This is something that needed addressing when the RPG-7 was last in the server. It was switched to the Matador for Russian Elite : RPG in an effort to take the RPG issues away, which has obviously been reversed since the Afghan update. In my opinion it should have the same splash as the Matador, with the only difference between the RPG and Matador being how much the rocket arches. That way they can be slightly different without major stat advantages.

    Poor titling. Taliban's Marksman rifle is currently only available in Tier 2 class. This suggestion is to add another whitelist with the Marksman rifle, to have a dedicated marksman class. No sniper

    -1 With this suggestion, as of this comment, Taliban would be given an extra whitelist which is not what was discussed in the Discord server. If this suggestion was accepted in this form then Tali would have more base whitelists than US, and in the Discord the addition of an Army explosives class was brought up to even the whitelist number. I'll remove my -1 if this is updated. Note after edit: Removed my -1, but not giving the suggestion a +1 because I don't particularly care about Tali Marksman & Army Explosive

  19. Denied "Any appeal attempted on a ban that is older than 30 days will be automatically denied." Your ban was issued over a year ago. Also Appeals are not the place for apologies, they are for wrongful punishments. @Fonza Please lock and move.
  20. Addition for anyone viewing this post more recently. Fact: The bots permissions were edited, it can still ban, but many of the issues that were raised prior to this suggestion have been removed from the bot's ban reasons. Opinion: I'm maintaining this suggestion because removing the bot's ability to ban allows the bot to detect a wider range of possibilities, and as I mentioned originally, Staff could use this to help them catch cheaters.
  21. +1 As it was accepted that Afghan Commander whitelists should get 2 primary weapons, their faction's main weapons, it should also be implemented on US-side. It's simply a balance. RP-reasoning (for those who want RP reasons) is that Afghan forces really shouldn't be better equipped, with more guns to spare, than the US Army.
  22. -1 I know you were a decent staff member before, however since your return to the Server I'm not sure on you returning to Staff at the moment. On the forums there's already been a few times you've ignored the rules regarding responding to Appeals. The reason why I'm putting a -1 for that is they are simple rules to follow, and whilst there's not really been any issues with you in-game since your return, I'm not sold on you returning to the staff team at this time.
