TTT Rotations BETA Update [05/29/2020]

Stayed up with @Enigma until 7AM to troubleshoot and update the server.

Far too many things were edited/improved to remember, so I will list the ones I remember.

 

Website Integration

Third Person

Menu has been added to add compatibility for Third Person view

Carefully tuned as to disallow game-breaking use.

Utilizing right click with a weapon out (crosshair) will set you directly back to first person.

Added a check to disallow wall-peeking/glitching.

 

 

Round Mutators

Since our "Random Power Rounds" were removed, I spontaneously sought for a new random addition for testing purposes, and it turned out amazing!

Infection

All Traitor kills will convert Innocents and Detectives onto the Traitor team with a health penalty (50% max health for converted players)

 

Boss Fight

One random player gets picked as a Boss with a melee attack doing 50-150 damage

Their health is currently configured to 800, however, I may later on update it to 100xnumber of players online

IE: 28 players = Boss spawns with 2800HP

 

Zombies

Zombies spawn across the map and attack Innocents and Detectives

Traitors will go unharmed unless provoked by these creatures

This will lead to chaos, allowing Traitors an easier round

 

Big Head

Just a fun gamemode thrown into the mix, players spawn with massive heads and feet, allowing easy headshots (may get scrapped at a later time)

 

Super Speed

Upon round-start, the clock will be set to move at 300% speed, all animations and weapon firing rates will be buffed tremendously.

 

 

Ticker

Useful information will now be displayed at the center of your screen in intervals

 

 

Pointshop

MySQL integration added, Pointshop is capable of storing perks between servers

While Pointshop is still not set up, some fun perks have been added, amongst them are

5 HP Boost

+5 HP On Spawn (max health is also at 105)

Detective Healing Stations will heal a player up to 105 if utilized

Speed Boost

Players will spawn with a slight speed boost, cutting mere seconds off travel times

Jump Boost

Allows players to crouch-jump through some obstacles other players cannot, not to a game-breaking degree of course

FINAL POINTSHOP ITERATION WILL BE RELEASED JUNE 1ST WITH MORE PERKS AND PLAYERMODELS ALIKE!

 

 

3D Escape Menu

Allows for hotlinking to our forums as well as transportation between our 2 TTT servers

 

 

Commands

All permission sets have been properly configured and tested!

*ADDED* /removeslay [name]

*REMOVED* /sethealth [name]

*FIXED* /autoslay [name]

 

 

Pointshop Points

Reconfigured

More conservative values were added to active and AFK players. Hourly Point gain while actively playing will earn you around 3,200 points, meanwhile being on the server (whether AFK or not) will passively earn you around 1,800 an hour. For a combined amount of 5,000 points per hour.

Added TTT support

Killing Traitors as an innocent

Killing Traitors as a Detective

Killing Detective as a Traitor

Killing Innocents as a Traitor

Positive Karma bonus

I think he is trying referring to a lack of DarkRP updates even though the last DarkRP update is just a week ago. Hence the “to die”. He clearly doesn’t understand development or that our DarkRP is more advanced that 85% of the others.  I don’t know “doe”
 

Anyway, great update will definitely have to play against @Enigma on this update

I'm just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, because that was a really ignorant/contradicting/toxic comment to make for somebody who has just applied for staff to "help the server".

If you said it ironically, I completely get it. But just note that as somebody who doesn't know you or your character, I assumed you were posting a complaint of some sort when I jumped updated DarkRP twice this past week .

Yeah I see how this can be used against me to call me toxic well that wasn’t the intention I know how hard it is to develop and update the server partially from my personal experience as a dev on my friends server. I was trying to lol about it and didn’t see the negative side of it. I appreciate this server and that’s why I applied for staff.  I’m honestly sorry if you took it that way.

Just saw this update after a couple of days of stuff going on, and i've gotta say i'm hella excited to see these rounds and play this server aswell as a member. Excellent jobs to both @Enigma and @Garnet for working on this!
