Automated Festive Events These will tank your FPS, but hopefully be fun! Every 2 hours an event will initiate, different events will feature different NPCs Zombies, Headcrabs, and Antlions Fountain Uprising Mode Graves will begin emerging from ancient burial grounds found underneath Fountain Around said gravestones, zombies will begin spawning and haunt players Destroying a grave will reduce the spawn-rate of zombies For performance reasons I made graves static and not go back into the ground/rotate, this way the event is also significantly easier to complete with lots of players online UFO Landing Mode Capsule-shaped UFOs crash landed on our beach From within them, antlions began emerging on our beach Eliminate all UFOs and exterminate the remaining antlions For performance reasons I took out all landing animations and crashing effects including explosions/ground quakes, etc. Mining Rubble Mode An earthquake of high magnitude hit our city As a result, rubble rendered our mine inaccssible. Eliminate the rubble in order to clear access into the mines For performance reasons I took out the earthquake effect at the beginning of the event Fog In festive spirit, a massive cloud has decided to t-bag our city This cloud will not leave until the day that Halloween is over FPS impact is roughly 3-5% based off of testing Before: After: Please stand by until a reward system is figured out among the staff team This post is a placeholder! 2 8 1 1 Quote Link to comment

The good news is we haven't overflowed since our last update almost 3 days ago. We did have host issues yesterday but those were unrelated to the crashing issue we have been having. BINLADINHOE 322 Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 I just want to say this has to be my favorite update to any of your servers, It really brings the community together to try and kill the assorted enemy's, I really enjoy just setting up with 2 other dudes and shooting RPGs into the hordes, I genuinely wish something like this was in the game year round!
