Strip Weapons in Jail

Suggestion:

When a player gets jailed they get stripped of all of their weapons and they can get them back once they are released

Reasoning:

It can be hard to do damage while in jail, but there are ways to still break rules with explosives and some guns while jailed, and removing all weapons would fix that. Also people like to put up textscreens while being jailed and they couldn't do that if they didn't have their toolgun.

+1 good idea sounds like it would be helpful, also when people would be jailed in general they can still dmg others on the street and sometimes if you hold your knife out your playmodel's head pokes into the jail and the person in the jail can dmg the person. So this would be a great edition to control the minges of the server and avoiding any further problems.

-1 Rules still apply to people who are in jail. If they are doing any of that stuff and someone reports them, then they’ll be punished accordingly. Who says they won’t do any of that stuff when they get their weapons back and they’re out of jail?

Adding to this, in the jail if you have bought a credit bought gun, it gives you the gun in jail.

Though they still do apply, It removes the chance of it ever happening at all if all weps are removed.

You both are missing the point though. They can still RDM after their jail time is up, so this doesn’t actually fix “the problem” at all.

The problem is not the RDM? The RDM will always happen inside or outside the prison. When it’s inside the prison, there shouldn’t be any RDM, because usually prisoners don’t have guns? It eliminates the chance of RDM of Police Officers inside the prison as a Prisoner 100%. That’s like saying “well people who shot people outside of jail will probably come out and do it again” No shit! But do prisoners in real life get guns and shoot police officers in the jail? Im trying to figure out if this is a shitpost or if you serious, and just went to RDM cops in jail.

Just don't poke your limbs into the jail to fuck with the player currently jailed? Very simple solution. At that point your just asking to be shot, and people who report getting shot after sticking their limbs inside someone's jail are assholes. There's literally no reason to take weapons from people if they go in jail, the whole point is they are locked up during it. This will literally change nothing.

I think you are thinking of the wrong jail, which does remove your weapons as far as I know. Aidan is talking about the /jail command for sits/sit punishments.

Just warn for text screen minge, it really isn't that hard. @bearboobs this also shows hes talking about the actual /jail command as you don't have a tool gun in the prison cells.
