New Duels

I think that the dueling system is something that could be a big part of the server if changed a little. I think we should add more gamemodes and different arenas. I think it'd be cool to put some new dupes in the flatgrass above the map. Things like boxing rings to do a boxing duel that uses fists, a slightly bigger arena for the quickscope gamemode (which i think should use the Barret M95 dragon instead of the DLore), a smaller arena for a potential shotgun duel. I think looking at CSGO arena servers for inspiration for arena dupes would be a good idea. Many of these dupes could probably be sources from the community, I think that many people would be eager to make dupes that would be used for duel system. As far as gamemodes go I think that boxing (fists), close quarters (shotguns), deathmatch (any rifles like ARs or AKs or anything that feels like those idrc what specific gun), fencing (damascus swords), or anything else people in the replies to this post can think of would really help flesh out the Duel minigames and help make the server more community focused. 

 

I think that using this post as a place to draw inspiration from when possibly re-doing the duel NPC could be great for the server and make the duel NPC a bigger part of the game, and maybe depending on how we can grow the duel npc, possible casino, arcade, and other minigames, in the future the duel NPC could be even bigger and allow players to host their own events that involve teams (depending on hard this would be to code).

 

TLDR: Add more stuff to the duel NPC and shift focus to minigames to hopefully make them a bigger part of the server.

The duel NPC/Duel system could stand to be re-structured to create a more exciting set of duels and arenas to duel in; 
A rework for the duel system will be discussed for addition in a future update.
