First off, I want to address something - I have a history with working in public relations and marketing for several projects regarding game development and product sales. This suggestion is coming from a good place that I honestly think could help the entirety of Garnet, not just DarkRP. All of the suggestions here are more for brainstorming with you, the people and staff. It was odd to me how PointShop up and vanished. It left somewhat of a hole for new players to experience things with the server, while also taking away from experienced players. Description: The Garnet Loyalty Program (Name WIP) is an attempt to promote players coming in regularly and spending time regularly on the server. This would not only include a daily login bonus, but bonuses for time spent on the server and bonuses for credit buyers. Reasoning: Essentially, the longer a player stays on a server, the more incentivized they are to spend actual money on the server they play. These concepts go hand in hand. You reward them for coming and staying and they are more than likely to want permas, CCs, etc - If even giving them a one time coupon code at the end of the week. Ontop it all, once gaining all this, it's more than likely they'll WANT to keep coming back, generating a higher number of long time players. Psychology is funny like that. Additional Information: So - What sort of ideas do we have here? 1) Weekly scratch cards. There are several on the Gmodstore, the highest rated one being this one. The lower tiers of this could be anything from an EXP bonus to 50K in cash for the second or third day. There's alot of options down the road to maybe add a login related cosmetic or similar. You can even tie it to permas in some way if to even reward them at the end of the week with a perma glock. Ultimately, you want something at the end of the road to be something exciting. There is also an extra Premium Rewards options, so even the VIP players could get extra. 2) Time Spent on the server can be rewarded too. I don't just mean an exp multiplier - but there's a very loyal band of people that have spent thousands upon thousands of hours on the server. I think having an extended reward system for hours total spent would not only reward current players and boost morale, but also incentivize newer players to push for those. What could the rewards be? Perhaps one less perk needing to be bought at the vending machine like insta-spawning with speed. Or time based badges on the profile or next to their name. With this reward, the goal here is to reward current long time players in one big swoop, while also pushing newer players to continue playing for very long periods, not just a scratch card. If anything, this could even be extended to have the time based perma or cosmetic as a means to show off. This particular Gmod Plugin allows daily rewards AND time based rewards. 3) I noticed you're using Prometheus for the Garnet Donation portal. Correct me if I'm wrong - but there is a way to set up trial versions of VIP. This could be a reward for an account just ONCE. Potentially even hooked into the previously mentioned reward systems. Prometheus also has a coupon code system. So if by anyway to reward a newer player to stick around, something akin to a 15% off first purchase or similar could be rewarded. You are essentially pressuring them into wanting to spend money for Garnet which in turn pushes them to stay longer and play. Now, how much can fully be done with Prometheus is up in the air since "And so much more…" on their plugin page is vague, but I digress. Hook the reward system in some way to Prometheus and you will see gains. Now, this is alot on the LUA side of things. I understand. You want to make sure there isn't an exploit. You want to make sure it can't be abused with alts. That can be worked out in time. any questions, concerns, and comments?

While I will say you seem like a decent enough person when I was chatting with you last night and that I appreciate you filing reports when you see bad things going on, your ban/warn history is concerning to put it nicely. Two recent bans for exceeding the warn limit within a day of each other, on top of the active warns (including one for racism of all things) really doesn't sell me at the moment. While the rest of your application looks fine, unfortunately I can't give you my confidence at this time. Description: My suggestion is to either fix how the "Bounty Issued" and "Wanted" overlays show up on the screen by preventing it from stacking, or by making sure "Wanted" appears on top of the "Bounty Issued" label. Right now, if you already have a bounty issued, it’s hard to tell when you’re also wanted. This gets especially frustrating for classes like Meth Manufacturers who are constantly getting both bounties and wants, and may miss the notification that pops up saying "XYZ is no longer wanted." An easy fix might be to stack the notifications vertically so both are visible. If that’s not doable, even just placing the "Wanted" label over the "Bounty Issued" one would help since the bounty label is wider and you’d be able to see both when they're active. I’ve added a screenshot below to show what it currently looks like now. Reasoning: Well, it would simply allow players to know when they both have a bounty and are wanted, so they can know when they can walk around in front of police without issue. As a meth manufacturer, it's often hard to tell whether I'm still wanted or not, especially if I tab out and miss when the notification pops up saying I'm not longer wanted.Additional Information:

Description: We already have Batman, and we have Joker, and now its time to add the one, the only, Jason Todd. The "Redhood" class would be a mix of police jobs, with criminal aspects, as a vigilante would. The class would have access to 2 police items that recently went missing from the mayor's armory; the battering ram, and police radio. He, however, unlike police jobs, would not have an arrest stick, allowing him the ability to essentially snitch, but not arrest. That said, he would poses the ability to kill wanted players, such as the ones he would call out with his radio. With this he would have the ability to enforce laws, but because he's not a cop, he would be subject to them as well. The Redhood would be able be arrested for any law breaking he does in his actions, a.k.a. shooting, guns out, killing wanted players, etc. Since Redhood is using a stolen police radio to request warrants, and is not an officer, search warranting will require much less evidentiary weight. What do I mean by this? Redhood will be able to issue warrants based on audio evidence. I know, I know. Boo me all you want, but this class would be a high level class, most likely prestige 2+. I think at that players at that level should be trusted not to false warrant. He would also have the ability to bypass the mayor, a.k.a. search warrants do not need his approval. Both the sound and bypassing the mayor can be reconsidered, as there are probably better ways to do this class. Now, for the second item that was liberated from the police; the battering ram. This item you should know well, whether you play PD, or have ever been a victim of false warrants. The thing is, because Redhood is a vigilante, he isn't as restricted as a cop would be with his ram. While an officer has to physically see a printer, meth, or otherwise know the person inside is wanted, two additional bonus options are available for Redhood. Not only could he posses a keypad cracker and lockpick to carryout justice in said new way, he would also have his battering ram to assist police in their raids, in addition to carrying out his own. Redhood will not be allowed to join parties. He cannot own printers, though he can however base independently. Those are my thoughts, but any input on them is greatly accepted! Reasoning: adding Redhood would add a bit more nuance to the classes, especially to police. It also gives another fun gimmick class for high levels to work towards, along the likes of Batman, Deadpool, and Iron Man. Out of nowhere, I got frozen by Schyzo with no warning or explanation, and then banned shortly after. There wasn’t a sit or any kind of discussion about what I did wrong. I’m not trying to make excuses. if I broke a rule, I get that. But I genuinely think the way it was handled wasn’t very fair or clear. I would really appreciate the chance to talk things through with whoever was involved and get some clarity on what happened. I’ve always enjoyed being part of the community and I’d like to work things out if possible. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Obvious +1 As a player who has spent a 90% of my time on gmod on this one darkrp server, I would love to see some more hour based rewards. This would encourage players not only to play more, but to also spend time afking on the server to boost their hours which obviously helps out to gain even more players. Working out the kinks may take some time but overall I do think the ideas Bob presented are genuinely good ideas. Spawning with perks, (You'll have to make a /stripperks command to help for events)-Perhaps a permanant xp/money boost? I can hardly prestige after #10 with printers which kind of ruins afking/playing on the server. If I was not currently staff I most likely would not spend as much time on the server as I do now. I love the idea of the daily login bonus as well. Perhaps it would encourage some of our own staff to get on more frequently and handle sits more often. 10/10 Suggestion Bob.

DENIED We appreciate you putting in an appeal, however I'm going to ultimately deny this. I tried to reach out to you earlier to discuss things, including asking someone who knows you, and was met with silence. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. You may pledge your intent to not be "a threat" or to violate community interests, but at this time I'm not 100% certain I can believe that. Your community had directly plagiarised many of our server's rules, roles and jobs almost to a word, and was being advertised to others in an attempt to draw some users away (even if they were your friends). Making another community on its own is not a huge problem, but pulling some of our players away from here and copying a huge chunk of content from us is not something I think we can forgive so easily. I'm going to recommend that you come back at another point in time and prove to us you're willing to be a proper member of our community, for now I can't in good conscience say yes to this.
