Description: Add coinflips. A lot of servers have the flip addon that allows for 50/50 gambling independent of direct player interaction. Gambling is fun.

Benefits: gambling is fun. Entertainment value by watching people lose millions due to RNG. A quick way for lucky and daring new players to increase their bank. Is fairer than most player run gambling.

We do plan on adding a casino in the near future with player vs player gambling, as well as player vs house gambling.

You could always do /roll which gives 1-100, so 1-50 or 51-100 for a coin toss

So weird you posted this, I worked on a rock paper scissors addon this past weekend. You run the command /rsp [rock/paper/scissor] and have a 1:3 to double your money.

Ahh crap, I mean I know everyone will love this for sure but vanilla DarkRP to me is the one. It was going to happen one day I guess 

Garnet is pretty far from vanilla already, so this is not too much of a difference. Of course, my idea of vanilla darkrp is like 2012-2013 era, so I might be thinking like walmart brand vanilla darkrp

I do rolls like this often but flips make it ao you don't have to track down people to gamble with

I'm the same, I used to play probably around the same kind of time actually, back when the map was often Hometown 1999 and printers never had coolers (they just blew up at some point randomly) lol. Those were the days! I love that DarkRP is still going, and it's things like this which probably keep it alive in fairness. I just personally prefer the original vanilla days and this server (while not 100% vanilla) has been the closest to it that I've known. I have no doubt though everyone would love a casino and a plethora of other mods, but it saddens me because I knew the day would come and it's so distant now from what I grew to love. Just a personal preference, and probably not a popular one lol.

ideally, there'd be no perms, you'd drop your pocket on death, and all of the weapons would be from cs:s or hl2, but i am another old man

 

since my ignominious ban, i have been playing on other servers and they are truly awful

turns out all the cool ones are dying out besides us

the only mod i really desire is Wire but unless your admin staff is extremely well versed in it it is easy to make exploits or lag machines

Just Because we might a bit less vanilla doesnt mean we have to keep straying from the "vanilla" roots of the server

-1 I never liked casinos and we had them before twice i think. I prefer how it is right now tbh
