Reserves System Re-work (Again I know)

This Reserve System is like the old system before the current one. But with a few changes.

Reserves
You can have a total of 2 reserves. 1 reserve on each side. Ex. Delta Force and Taliban Reserves while being in Rangers.
You can't use the whitelists once you have resigned and have reserves.
Only can be used For tryouts/trainings.

Staff Vote
The Officer will have 7 days to ask Colonel/leader of the faction for reserves once they have left. The Leader is to contact S. Admin+ to put in the vote or staff.
They will make a staff vote in the staff discord.
Then the executives will decide when the reserves are accepted or denied and contact the Leader or the officer accordingly.
If the faction leader at the time of your resignation (or newly appointed faction leader if it’s a leader resigning) agrees with the request, he/she will submit the request to S. Admin+.

Revoking of Reserves
Executives will take action regarding the behavior of players who hold reserves.
If a faction leader wants to remove reserves they have to contact the executives with a valid reason and they can remove them if they have a valid reason.
Faction Leaders can remove them for any reason after 6 months of the reserves been granted and the Reserves are Guaranteed to be Removed after One Year.
Also Reserves are a one-time deal. If they get removed for any reason, they are gone unless re-earned again.

Coming off of Reserves
Reservists can come off reserves if Faction Leader Confirms it and can do evaluations and can place the person at the max rank of O-1. When they come off they have a mandatory 2 week cooldown if placed at an officer rank.

The Faction Leader needs to contact executives if someone comes off reserves.

The changes are:
You can't use the whitelists while having reserves other than helping with Tryouts/trainings.
Guaranteed Reserves for 6 months (unless a valid reason for them to be removed)
Faction leaders can remove them if they want after 6 months and will be removed after One year

This is to essentially allow players to come off reserves at some point and if they don't in a long time they can be removed.

One big thing about this Suggestion is that the 6 month time frame can be changed to 3 months if needed to give Faction leaders more power over the reserves.

+1, honestly the only reason for the removal of reserves is a ton of people were abusing it like they used to it is no where near as abused as it used to be and people on reserves help factions with low player count. The pro’s out way the con’s

I mean reserves after the change from Ozzy are now for people taking extended breaks from the server or have something IRL keeping them from playing for an extended period. What are the chances that the few hours that they can clock in on the server during such LOA would want to be spent only being able to do a tryout/training as opposed to playing the server as normal. Not only that but even aside from this suggestion reserves are already really restrictive in that they are only for people NOT able to play the server for one reason or another and no longer include former leaders/officers like previously and this doesn't make reserves any more appealing. Even aside from this suggestion I don't see a world where anyone uses the reserve system anymore, made worse I would think if you can only do tryouts/trainings, unless the faction leader doesn't allow for extensive LOAs (even though NOW they are the same thing just one has an R in the mos and the other doesn't)

Additionally, in the "changes" section the 3 month period in which reserves can be removed is already something existing in the current reserve system posted by Ozzy albeit it doesn't specify who is removing the reserves and in the post doesn't clarify if the leader can remove them prior to the 90day mark. (Though if you as the faction leader are granting reserves for a current officer/enlisted in your faction and then during the 90 day period decide to remove them is telling of you as a leader anyway)

No offense this suggestion, even though advertised as being similar to the old one, is more similar to the newer reserve system than anything. The old system offered a permanent spot in a faction for people if they had earned it and was essentially a trophy for a lack of a better word. Obviously, we know that the criteria for "earning" it varied greatly from leader to leader especially in the past few years but that isn't to say some people gave out reserves unjustifiably. The main problem with old reserves was that there was no consistent criteria for getting them and retaining them AND they had officer powers as though they were active duty and not reserves.

()- let's go back to classic reserves, really go back. Let's allow factions to decide their own standards for reserves, and the rank they wish to cap at reserves. Less overarching, and more autonomy.

Worked for years untill changed, and since that change reserves were a pet project of management teams.

Constant removal, return, removal, return. Autonomy could breath some life into the reserves programs.

This is just an opinion and thinking outside of the box.

Tbh I agree with Dillan, on his opinion. If left to the factions, which do have people with pretty much nothing to do other than war and tryouts, it wouldn't hurt having them maintain the documentation of their reserve rosters. It'd make SOCs and base factions check in, reach out and reevaluate their reserved officer core. Still based on this opinion to a degree.

As much as I would like this to happen nothing would change besides Faction leaders giving all of their friends Reserves. It worked a long time ago because every faction had more new faces than it did now. The whole idea that I have now is to allow players still help the factions as thats what they were supposed to do instead of just using the whitelist for war and able to leave factions that you got bored off. Right now, its basically F U and work your ass off to Officer Again to do anything beneficial for that faction. See what I mean?

And regarding the Pet Management Project, It's been an Issue with base Managements because they were lazy and basically did what they wanted with them. Autonomy is what this suggestion would be. Reserves would be Coded in that they would be removed after 1 year. Anytime before that would be based on the faction leader. Which allows the Faction leader Control over the reserves at some point.

Also, This needs to be a discussion in Discord or somewhere else besides here. As thats what happened on the other Reserves post that eventually didn't help Ozzy change the reserves to how they wanted. So he did them how he wanted which basically removing them entirely instead of listening to the community.

To @Shibe  @shax999 @Katowice  @ReynoldsCan you explain why you Disagreed?
